- Shell spider silk spun into white satin
- Sash made from Alderaanian shimmersilk and decorated with chalcedony sequins
- Nights in White Satin: As clothing goes, this gown is exceptionally durable against blaster fire and kinetic blows from weapons such as vibroblades, able to withstand even direct hits. It is not indestructible, however - one's best bet for survival if somebody starts shooting/stabbing is still to run for cover.
- House Organa Represent: The sash is made from Alderaanian shimmersilk, with sequins carved from milky-white chalcedony sewn on. Chalcedony is a gemstone associated with the royal House of Organa, who historically used it as a signet of office; the ruling lord of the House was referred to as the "heir to the chalcedony star".
- Waterproof: The fabric has been treated so that it will not retain water (and become heavy) when submerged.
- Fireproof: The gown is resistant to fire damage.
- Pockets: It has pockets on the sides.
- Lightsabers: Despite being donned by a bona fide Jedi Knight, this gown has no real durability against lightsabers. Please do not get into any duels of the fates while wearing it.
- Revealing: The gown leaves a fair amount of bare skin exposed, especially at the back and arms. Anywhere that isn't covered up will remain unprotected.
- Royal Ransom: Made with high quality and expensive materials, the gown is quite valuable even without the additional clout of being worn by royalty. It may attract the attention of thieves.
Thelma Goth was selling her services as a seamstress to patrons at the annual Eshan Bazaar when she happened to run into Amani Serys. Amani, who had recently become a Countess of the House of Organa through her marriage to Count Alicio Organa, wanted a gown made for political and royal events. Specifically, she wanted a backless white dress.
The smooth white satin is spun from shell spider silk, a fabric which combines comfort with basic protection against conventional weaponry. The gown has a cowl neckline that can be pulled off the shoulders, a deep draped back, and a bias cut full length skirt with a small train. The sash tied around the waist is constructed from different materials of Alderaanian origin, intended to be a statement piece reflective of Amani's status as a member of the House of Organa.
