Description: The AM-22 Raccoon Gun is essentially the machine gun equivalent of a water hose. The short action and tiny rounds allow for an absurdly high rate of fire, while maintaining a relatively high degree of accuracy. For the sake of the customer, the weapon has been lightened by using different alloys, and the grips, trigger, and stock have all been appropriately downsized.
The weapon is fed through a rotating drum magazine that sits atop the weapon. When loaded in place, the user rotates a knob on the top of the magazine, which winds a spring. The spring will then allow the magazine to rotate as the weapon is fired, ensuring that a fresh round is always in the chamber. When the magazine is empty, any excess tension will be released automatically, as the spring unwinds on its own at that point.
Though each individual round is puny, the ridiculously high rate of fire means that, at any given point in time, a lot of lead is hitting the target. Thus, while one round might not do much damage, 20 hitting the same spot in a second will absolutely devastate flesh. It has been discovered that, if a target is willing to oblige you by sitting still long enough, it's even possible to punch through light armor. Unfortunately, most targets have the good sense to move when someone shoots at them, so the chances of the customer being able to pull that trick off are slim.
Also, while the recoil would be perfectly manageable for a human, the customer is not human. The customer is a raccoon. Therefore, trying to hang on while firing this thing will probably be a bit like a toddler trying to hang on to a high pressure water hose. Expect much hilarity to ensue. It should be noted that the customer did not specify practicality.
I think this fits nicely.Dart the Amaran said:[member="Rusty"]
Give me the biggest gun my 3'3" body can hold. I'll leave the rest to you?
