STRENGTHS
- Force Sensitive: Born strong in the Force, Altrea is Force Sensitive and has received tutelage in the Dark Side from her parents.
- Affinity for the Sea: Altrea has a deep knowledge of the ocean and all things pertaining to it. She finds it easy to manipulate saltwater using the Force, has befriended numerous sea creatures, and is a natural swimmer.
WEAKNESSES
- You Fool, I'm a Goddess!: Most people in the galaxy were not brought up to think they were the living embodiment of a deity. Altrea has completely bought into the idea and genuinely believes she is the Thalassa, Goddess of the Sea, with all the arrogance and ego that entails. Attempting to tell her otherwise will just make her upset.
- Mood Swings: Altrea is mercurial in temperament. Her emotions can change dramatically in a very short period of time, with unpredictable results. She's also a bit of a drama queen, feeling things very deeply and prone to overreacting.
BIOGRAPHY
The sixth child and third daughter of Arcturus and Rhiannon Dinn, even before Altrea was born her future was predetermined. She was proclaimed to be the incarnation of Thalassa, the Shaalite Goddess of the Sea, given the goddess' name and titles along with the loyal patronage of the city of Nacria. A sea monster once worshiped by the Nacrians as a manifestation of Thalassa was slain in her honor, with its heart being cut out and fed to her pregnant mother. Pretty metal, huh?
Altrea was raised to fulfill the role of a goddess, taught by her parents to use the Dark Side of the Force, and for the most part embodies everything she was ever prophesied to become. But at a certain age, we all begin to question the things our parents taught us. Altrea differs from her siblings in that she genuinely enjoys being a goddess and has not sought to actively rebel against her supposed destiny... but that doesn't mean she is without conflict or totally content to follow the track laid out for her.
