  • Very warm: Perfect for a cold-climate, the fine Gaberwool wards off the elements and bear fur gives an added layer of warmth
Weaknesses:

  • Limited coverage: The cloak gives good protection for the back body, neck, and head. However, unless completely wrapped in the fabric, there are still areas that may be exposed to damage.

  • Limited protection: While it is good against blasters, it won't protect well against kinetic damage, slugs, or vibroblades.
DESCRIPTION

Crafted by Lira Kros as a gift to Alor Kvall, her betrothed. She wanted to provide him with a very warm cloak that would keep the cold of Krownest at bay. The cloak was designed to be rugged and durable, able to last through many seasons. Lira made it in a simple, utilitarian style that seemed to fit Jor very well. The outer shell of the cloak is cut from Gabal wool, that has a natural insulating quality and wicks moisture away from the skin, which will keep the body warm, even in the rain. As an added precaution, Lira lined the cloak with fine armorweave to protect against blasters and other energy attacks. The shoulders of the cloak are topped off with the hide of a D'oemir bear for an extra layer of warmth, the edges of the cloak are trimmed with this fur as well.
