[OOC: Will get this guy in an imperial-esque uniform as soon as I can find an artist to commission]
NAME: Alkar Kabar
SPECIES: Human
AGE: 41
SEX: Male

FACTION: The Sith Empire, The Sith Armada
RANK: Captain
SHIPS:

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Alkar is a fairly standard human, with average height and weight. He's relatively fit and can handle himself in a fist fight if need be. He keeps a short hair-cut and makes do with a little bit of a mustache, although he keeps it trimmed. He has fairly bright green eyes. They stand out enough to be unique but not enough for someone to question if he's human or not.

BIOGRAPHY:
Alkar was born in a small rural settlement. His father was a law-enforcement officer and was somewhat seen as a leader in their community. His mother was the manager for a local convenience store. The town he grew up in was small enough that almost everyone knew each other. A lot of pressure was placed on Alkar to be a leader like his father. And for the most part Alkar did inherit some of his father's traits and talents for leadership. Deep down, however, his ambitions were elsewhere. He wanted to leave the settlement and find his own opportunities and adventures somewhere else. While many did get along with him, there were more than a few people who felt he and his father were a bit stuck up. They always liked causing his father trouble, and that made Alkar want to stay even less. He went off-world to obtain an education in business and found a job there, rather than coming back to his home settlement. This didn't really sit well with a lot of the people he knew, let alone his parents.

His first job was as a sales person. It wasn't the most glamorous but it paid the bills. He found the job to be very cut-throat. Something that he needed to adapt to survive. The very darwinist view he needed to adopt in that particular business environment of course endeared him to Sith philosophy. He eventually got some training as a manager and owned his own little office space for a while. That was until a scandal and some outmaneuvering by more business savvy rivals got Alkar fired. His embarrassment didn't exactly leave him a lot of avenues for new employment. So he decided to commission himself into the One Sith navy.

He climbed the ranks, proving himself as a lowly lieutenant when he took command of his frigate after some of the command staff were killed in battle. He made it to Commander, where he was given his own ship and allowed to prove his prowess further. He was also considered to be a very supportive political proponent of the Empire and it's policies. Not to mention he was ruthless. He never stood to give rivals a chance to one-up him, even well beyond in his career. However, Alkar has faced losses before. He has a number of scars after having lost a ship in battle, and being forced to flee during the dying days of the One Sith Empire. When the new Sith Empire rised, he immediately swore loyalty to the Emperor, and rejoined the Sith Armada. His experience allowed him some choice in ship selection. While asking for a Star Destroyer, especially a new Marr-class Destroyer was pushing his influence, his request was granted. He has not disappointed yet, but it has been some time since he has seen a real battle.

PERSONALITY:
Alkar is a ruthless and calculating strategist. He is highly competitive and is always looking to take the initiative and prove himself above his rivals. That said, he also has plenty of enemies, not excluding some of his own officers, who sometimes see him as overbearing and know-it-all. While he's able to defend himself in a fight, he's not exactly well suited to ground-based combat, and isn't particularly accurate with a blaster. His best chances for survival is relying on crew members who are better skilled to defend him. He's not particularly shy and his strategies tend to be aggressive but smart. He's also fairly stubborn and is more willing to risk his ships and crew than to just retreat if he finds himself in a bind. That said, he's also not unwilling to abandon ship if he thinks he needs to.
