Character Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths:

Mastermind: From a person with no influence to an infamously-known Crime Lord, Alister used his natural ability to manipulate people and the circumstances of those around him to his advantage in order to gain everything he can from physical wealth to powerful friends and influences.

Force Sensitivity: Being gifted in the Force was a rare attribute in the Criminal Underworld much less a Crime Lord. Alister developed his Force abilities to the fullest potential as he call upon the Force to aid him in his business ventures and profits. Many Force Users would underestimate Alister and live to regret it and sometimes die if things don't go his way.

Stone Cold: Most Crime Lords lose their temper when things do not go their way. The Hutt Cartel and the Black Sun are perfect examples of that. Alister, however, keeps a cool and calm disposition even when things do go wrong. Do not take that as a sign that you are safe. Alister may still punish you despite his stone cold and cool personality.

Professional Enforcer: The leaders of almost every criminal organizations almost always make their henchmen do their dirty work. While this is somewhat true for Alister, he does like to take matters into his own hands especially when the situation is serious. Alister conducts business in the most humane and professional way he can. However, there are times when things get dirty, you will see Alister join in on the brawl.

Weaknesses:

Tough Negotiator: With all the wealth Alister and the Dark Emblems generate, there is really no need to coddle to anyone's needs right? Alister is a tough negotiator who never bends on anything less than he offered. Every offer that Alister makes during a negotiation is final unless the other party can match it or put more on the table. If the other party rejects the offer, there will be no deal.

Double-Crosser: Like most Crime Lords, Alister has a nasty habit of double-crossing people when things do not profit in his favor. Although most Crime Lords double-cross other organizations and people all the time, with Alister, the consequences of being double-crossed will hurt the other party tremendously.

Character Appearance

Alister wears mostly expensive clothing that matches his immense amount of wealth and power. He always carried surprise weapons in case people tried to threaten him. Since he is also Force Sensitive, Alister was also able to figure out how to construct a lightsaber which he keep it concealed so those that do not need to know will not.

Character Biography

Alister Salazar was born to a rich family on the planet Coruscant. His father owned a multi-billion credit company while his mother doubled the revenue by scoring big on gambling. Throughout his childhood, Alister had the luxury of studying at the most prestigious schools in all of the Core Worlds. His father wanted him to rise up the ranks and become a politician for his future life. He would sponsor and fund Alister for his campaigns. However, as Alister went to school, he learned about what his father wanted him to be and resented it. Alister knew that politicians were selfish and only cared about those who supported their campaigns. He was more interested in the Black Market where commodities that were rare or otherwise illegal in certain planets are easily accessible. Currently, the Black Markets were individualized and scattered all around the galaxy. What if Alister could combine and unite them all and form a monopoly?

Alister set his plans in motion when he became an adolescent. He cleverly added poison to his parents' drinks during business trips by the degrees. To everyone else, Alister's parents passed away from their illness and nobody thought anything else. From that time forward, Alister was the heir and owner of the his father's company. The first order of business was to fire all of his father's employees except for those who had undying loyalty to him. Then, he sold off the company to the highest bidder and took his seemingly endless amount of fortune to start his own adventures. Alister and his loyal friends traveled around the galaxy and over to the Criminal Underworld to first make friends with the major Criminal Syndicates such as the Hutts, the Pykes, and many more. They also got to know most of the infamous bounty hunters and mercenaries so they can call on them whenever they chose. The first step for Alister was to find a business they can monopolize in. He was quick to realize that the Black Market was scattered and unorganized. Feeling ambitious, Alister bought out all the Galaxies' Black Markets and unified it under one Criminal Syndicate known as the Dark Emblem Syndicate.

From that time forward, Alister and the Dark Emblem Syndicate made several partnerships with several other crime syndicates starting with the Hutt Cartel and the Pyke Syndicate. The Dark Emblem has also made deals with intergalactic slavers from all over the galaxy who supplied slaves in exchange for black market goods. The relationship the Dark Emblem had with the Galactic Republic was virtually nonexistent since the Republic was anti-crime while the relationship with the Sith Empire and the rest of the Criminal Underworld was more close and friendly.
