OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To Sub Kurt's old friend
  • Role: Kurt's Friend, Smuggler, Scumbag
  • Links: N/A
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: 25
  • Force Sensitivity: N/A
  • Species: Human
  • Appearance:
Though many would consider Alistair to be traditionally 'handsome' there is a quality about him that screams of where he came from.

Alistair is the type of guy that takes care of himself, ensures his clothes are always clean, everything fits well, and his hair is perfectly in place. Besides this however there are certain pieces to his appearance that give away his more unsavory origins. There is a constant slouch to his shoulders, his eyes are almost always half lidded, and even though most of his clothing is 'nice' it is almost always wrinkled.

These small tidbits are a give-away to most members of high society. Alistair plays the part of an upper class person, but he most certainly isn't one.

Despite this however, Alistair is oddly capable of fitting in with most environments. Whether it be a high class club or a simple cantina in Mos Eisley, Alistair has a way of floating from circle to circle and looking as though he belongs in all of them.

SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Alistair Fenn
  • Loyalties: Himself, Kurt[Kind Of]
  • Wealth:
Alistair is not exceptionally wealthy, in fact he is what most people would call desperately poor. Growing up on Tatooine, Alistair's parents were Moisture farmers. He has no inheritance, no rich backing, and certainly no assets to rely upon. Most of his life has been spent coasting from place to place and tricking others. The only real thing he owns is his starship, and even that is barely kept running.
  • Notable Possessions:
Vine Silk Suit
Firegem Necklace
Cybernetic Eye
S-5 Heavy Blaster Pistol
VCX-820 escort freighter
  • Skills:
Alistair isn't particularly gifted in many areas of life. He is not a pilot like Kurt, nor does he have the same aptitude for engineering. In fact, most people thought of Alistair as the less talented of the duo while they were growing up.

Besides this however Alistair has always had a flare and penchant for getting away with things. While Kurt and him would get into constant trouble, the older of the two boys always seemed to manage to slip away at just the right moment to avoid getting caught. Perhaps this was a mix of luck and a general sense of things, but Alistair just seems to have a talent for finding the exact right moment to get away.

Aside from this over the years Alistair has become a keen shot with the blaster pistol, and although he is no match for Kurt, he's also quite a decent pilot.

Of course, besides this there is also his penchant for slight of hand tricks. Something originally learned as a child, the addition of his cybernetic eye and it's increased capabilities have only increased Alistair's abilities when it comes to tricking people into seeing things he wants to see. He is incredibly observant, and naturally skilled when it comes to dexterity.
  • Personality:
As one might expect from someone who had lived on Tatooine for most of their life, Alistair is somewhat abrasiveness, manipulative, and lacking in a normal sense of morality that most of the galaxy holds to.

Though he can be jovial, fun, and even mirthful, Alistair above all is always searching for the angle of the situation that most benefits himself. By trade he is a smuggler, and this makes him incredibly distrustful of most figure of authority. He tends to skirt away from government officials and security officers, acting weary around anyone that might have the ability to arrest him.

Around friends he tends to joke around a lot, offering a certain amount of light hearted fun. When working this seems to flip, with Alistair taking on an incredibly intense attitude where he prefers to have his way and only his way.

He is also incredibly gifted at blending into almost environment.

Quite capable of reading a room, Alistair has an innate sense of people and often utilizes this to schmooze to the person who is most able to get him what he wants in that moment. More often than not this leads him in to trouble however.

COMBAT INFORMATION
Though absolutely not a push over, Alistair is more of a lover than a fighter.

From a young age Alistair has always preferred to talk his way out of a situation rather than fight. Most of the time he'll attempt anything from begging to bribery in order to get out of fighting someone, though when forced Alistair is most certainly not one to just lay down and die.

He is an expert at utilizing his blaster, and fights quite well in hand to hand situations. Though he's no match for any trained soldier in close quarters combat.

If faced with a Jedi, or even worse, a Sith, Alistair is most likely to throw whatever heavy soldier is between himself and the force user and then book it as fast as he can. Though he is well capable of putting up a fight, there are few things in this galaxy for which he will do it.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Alistair Fenn was Kurt's oldest, and closest friend.

The two boys naturally gravitated towards one another from a very early age, becoming fast friends due to their similar nature and backgrounds. Both of them grew up on Tatooine, both of them had parents with moisture farms, and both of them were what many would refer to as 'trouble makers'. These similarities drew the two together, and they became fast friends from an early age.

Though there were others within their small circle of friends, Kurt and Alistair always shared a stronger bond than the rest.

Most of their formative years were spent upon committing one hijink or another within the small community of Mos Eisley.

The boys were well known around town as trouble makers, and often their appearance marked that some prank was about to be pulled. The other kids they ran with were often complicit within these acts, either used as assistance or scape-goats for the eventual retribution that would befall them. Throughout these times Kurt and Alistair always worked together, planning, enacting, and suffering the consequences of their actions together.

Alistair was a big supporter of Kurt when his friend, at the urging of his father, first entered the Boonta Eve and he would often steal parts for Kurt's pod-racer. He was within the stands when Kurt won his first, second, and third race, often cheering on his friend and partially reaping in the rewards.

Though through this Kurt became somewhat famous, the two still stayed close friends and continued on with their hijinks even throughout their young adult lives. Only when Kurt decided that Tatooine was growing too small for him did Alistair begin change. Knowing that Kurt was the more talented of the two of them, and knowing that his friend was ultimately destined for greater things, Alistair urged Kurt to leave Tatooine.

When his friend left, things took an odd sort of turn for Alistair.

Events unfolded faster than he predicted, and within just a few months time the young man found himself working for one of the local Hutt's. He ran odd-jobs across Tatooine, transporting stolen goods and guarding safe-houses. Eventually this turned into more profitable ventures, with Alistair falling into off-world smuggling. It was during this time that Kurt and Alistair lost touch, neither of them maintaining contact with the other. Kurt's role in the navy sitting directly opposite what Alistair himself was doing.

This odd sort of roll continued, with Alistair falling into job after job working for one Crime Lord or another. Each time he managed to dig himself into a hole, promising one thing without actually being able to deliver. Eventually this cascading effect ended with Alistair owing one of these Crime Lord's nearly Seventy thousand credits, a debt he was only able to pay off due to a small, and favorable, run in with a member of the Thawne Family on Coruscant.

After only barely escaping with his life, Alistair limped his way back to Tatooine, setting up shop in Allecto City and attempting to find work there.
