ALANA HALAK

BACKGROUND

Alana Halak was born in Zakuul orbit, on a First Order Capital Ship. Her mother is a member of Halak family, a Skyean family that made their name serving in Rovac Vane's retinue during the Long Retreat. Her father was an Echani mercenary who was contracted by Vane in their first siege on Zakuul. Her parents was never in a relationship, and his father died i. the war before she was born, leaving Alana to be raised by her mother's family. Over the year, as Rovac Vane established a stronghold in Zakuul, she was raised in the planet, enrolled in the military academy.

Always the top of her class, she expectedly ended up specializing in the Navy, although it surprised her family when she later on decided to pursue piloting role, instead of a more tactical, naval strategist path. She was inducted into the Starfighter Corps after her graduation, climbing the rank quicker than anyone expected.​

PERSONALITY

Alana is an ambitious, brash and headstrong lady. Growing up always on top of her class, she knows what she is capable of and she embodies that to a tee. She can be a character to handle, seeing the world as a sandbox to conquer, but she is a loyal friend to the very few she considers as.

Ideologically, Alana is pretty much a pragmatic young woman. She believes, to some extent, the ideals of the First Order, partly due to her environment growing up, but she always has a streak of individualism shunned by the First Order. However, she knows how to play the game, and she uses her ambition for excellence to justify her lack of public interest in anything ideological.
