Akari was born to the Thyrsian Noble House of Rakarra as an heiress of low order. Though noble enough to live a comfortable life, there was little opportunity to climb high within the family or Thyrsian society without proving herself a capable warrior first. As such she enlisted in the Thyrsian Auxilia, with hopes of one day becoming one of the Sun Guards.
