General InformationAjinar Djo is the Duch'ix of Hapes, and a Hapan of Miraluka descent. He is the eldest child of the late Ducha Eline Djo of Hapes, and the late Duch'ix Irridas Djo, a Miraluka formerly of the Luka Sene—a Sene Seeker. He was also the older brother of his late twin sisters, Isolde and Ianthe Djo.
A noble, who was an artist by calling, Ajinar's life outlook pivoted sharply when his sisters and parents died in the 'cleansing' of those believed to be Jedi by the Mandalorian Empire, while he has been off-world. For some eighteen months after blood-soaked wedding of his once-lover, the late Prince Astor Daaray of the Hapes Consortium, Ajinar has often been far from home, said to be wandering where his curiosity takes him, keen to expand his circle, and his knowledge. But this has only been a half-truth, as it became a cover for his time going to and from the ancient holdings of his House, as a liaison to She Who Will Become,

He still remains with the rightful monarch while coming to terms with these fresh losses. That shift to his future, when his parents and sisters died, left him with the rightful titles of his mother and father. Due to being sent along with him for safekeeping at the secretive Djo Fortress well in advance because of continuing relapses of unrest in the Capital, he is in possession of the sigils and his mother's extensive will of inheritance of that office, which names him as her inheritor in the typically unlikely event that has now come to pass.
Ajinar is now one of the rare ruling men, albeit Duch'ix of Hapes in exile, due to what has happened, and stands as the primary representative of his lineage, to the now-Ereneda Cortana. It's not a position he ever imagined he'd find himself in, but he will not turn away from it.

History
Ajinar was born on Naboo to Eline Djo and her husband Irridas Djo (né Lier), a (former) Miralukan Sene Seeker of the Luka Sene, who, when becoming appraised of her quickly progressing vision loss, had taken it upon himself to complete Eline's training—which had begun with the Jedi Sanna Aureus when she was a wee one—and to guide her through the transition to physical blindness, falling in love with his student in the process. They married, and Ajinar was the first of their children.
While the first four years of his life were spent on Naboo with his growing collection of cousins and other children of Naboo's noble houses for company, the move to Hapes came when his maternal grandmother, Cynthia Djo, wished to abdicate from her position as Ducha of Hapes, requiring Eline to take her place in Ajinar's fourth year, when his mother was newly pregnant with his siblings, twin sisters Isolde and Ianthe. Though his memory of those early years is spotty, occasional visits back and forth helped solidify his knowledge of his relationships with those back on Naboo, and though these visits became fewer and further between as the children got older and took on more responsibilities of their own.
From an early age, Ajinar was trained bit by bit in the ways of the Force, under considerable secrecy, and filtered through a Hapan lens. The majority of his Force training comprised of knowledge largely from his Father, though he has found his way into expressions of his power through artistry on his own, and with great care to keep such facts hidden, much like his training had been. With the assistance of tutors, he was highly schooled in the ways of the Hapan nobility as befits a Hapan man, but the artistry was a pursuit all his own that touched on the varied parts of his identity, flowering from the collection of talents and skills that most Hapan men of the nobility were exposed to and expected to learn, to prepare them to be a suitable husband for a Hapan woman.

AppearanceAjinar is a tall, dark-haired, pale eyed, tanned young man with athletic musculature. He is a fine specimen of Hapan beauty, with the evidence of his Miralukan heritage coming through in the colour of his eyes, eyes that were assumed could only have ended up brown as his mother's eyes were.
At first, his pale irises were assumed to be a carryover from his blue-eyed maternal grandfather, but a barrage of genetic testing in infancy to screen for disease (and in particular to determine whether he carried the active gene for the retinitis pigmentosa that caused his mother's vision loss) revealed that a pigment mutation caused by the Miralukan portion of his DNA was the culprit. However, this has also meant he is a little sensitive to light while average light-eyed Hapan wouldn't be, and also unlike the average Hapan, Jin possesses some night vision.

PersonalityAjinar is caring, charming, and passionate with an intellect that simmers beneath the surface since, as the male offspring of the Ducha of Hapes and a former member of the Luka Sene, he has had a somewhat unusual upbringing amongst the Hapan elite. He is a hard-working young man, having striven to prove himself as more than his birth in a society that not only restricts those of his sex (which is a normative behaviour he gives little thought to), but in some cases has also subjected him to derision for being not wholly Hapan... but few would openly be found levelling such a slight directly at him, and by extension the Duch'a - she who is second only to the Royal Family, itself - but Ajinar is only all too aware of the whispers. Still, he knows when to mind his words and often does, for even then he is still only a man.
