- Phrik Blade construction allows for blade to be used against lightsabers whether or not plasma generators are active.
- Ultrasonic Vibration Generator increases cutting ability of the weapon against most materials and allows the weapon without the plasma generating filaments to cut through most armor materials, and with the plasma filaments you can cut through almost anything if you have enough power running through the blade.
- Plasma generators and Electrum weave allow for Aiden to channel electrical attacks into the blade to increase the blade's cutting power and utilize his own cybernetic augs power generation to power the sword.
- Repulsor Generators allow the blade to be extremely light but also hit like a heavier standard sword, generating extra power per swing to increase the force of contact at will. This however can only be activated during an attack and will do nothing when attempting to block other attacks.
- Sword requires an external power supply to power the vibro functions of the blade, plasma generating filaments, and repulsor tech to make the blade perform at optimum capacity. When power is taken away, it becomes a standard Phrik sword, and can only be supplied through the handle via the Electrum weave in the grip.
- While the sword channels electrical energy through the blade into Aiden's own combat rig which can protect and possibly even store some of the energy it itself has no way to actually neutralize lightning or electrical based attacks as it requires the custom rig's electrical system to dissipate the energy. This means if not wielded properly or by the incorrect person electrical attacks can cause serious injury and/or be lethal.
Aiden's blade came after his initial instruction in proper swordplay and his desire to learn self control. The one way he seeks to channel this outlet was by constructing his very own sword, and so set out to do just that, first looking for swords to give him a base to work with. He settled on the Jaeger Solutions "Tidefall" Vibrosword, as the sword had an elegance and grace to it that not a lot of other swords had, while also being simple enough that Aiden liked the design.
So he ordered one from Jaeger and began working on finding how the sword worked, first noting that the Durasteel in the blade had to go. He had to decide between the rarer songsteel for the blade, or Phrik, and settled on Phrik as it was more easily accessible. So he began construction of the blade, making adjustments to the design that would allow for him to take advantage of his own augs. This includes removing the internal power supply and making a small interface that would work with his own combat rig through his hands. This would allow for his augs to generate the electrical energy for the blade and its tech, and keep the thing from exploding when hit with lightning or electrical attacks. Add in the Faraday Cage to protect the Ultrasonic Vibration Generator and the weapon was very well built. And to finish the job Aiden had Dr. Ryan oversee the construction of the blade adding in the plasma generating filaments, and repulsors to make the weapon have the weight of something super light, but hits like a heavier sword. This makes dueling the sword in general at optimum capacity a grueling fighting for his opponents as the extra force generated by the small repulsors is more than enough to make the blade hit like a sledgehammer when it comes into contact with a resisting force. However Aiden can disengage these if he wishes through his own electrical system in his combat rig, using specific levels of energy to activate pieces of the blade's technology, so it doesn't take too much from him during a duel, and allowing him to pace himself while fighting, or simply spar with someone.
The result was a blade that can cut through most materials especially when Aiden channeled massive amounts of electrical energy into the sword, and was more than capable of matching a saber in a duel, except for deflecting blaster fire and other such things. But Aiden wouldn't be using it for that anyways. The only downside was that against an especially powerful dark side user, their lightning could potentially hurt Aiden through the blade as while his electrical protection offered much in the way of mitigation, it wasn't invulnerable. But even so this weapon is more than a match for anyone, especially if it's being wielded by The Reformed Wolf.
