Aidan Bard

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Aidan is a young male human with a tall, slender build. His unaltered physical might is lacking, but he's swift and agile to balance this out. He has black hair that seems to glow deep navy blue under light, and usually wears white robes with ancient knee armor from a long lost time—the Clone Wars. Aidan has a slight lean to the right as a result of minor scoliosis. Growing up, he's been revered as a reincarnation due to his uncanny resemblance to his ancestor, Kilo Bard, who served all the way back in the Clone Wars according to legends, and has a religion based on his stories. Overall, Aidan resembles your slightly above average, healthy teenaged boy.
INVENTORY
Aidan holds his lightsaber close at all times. It's his prized possession, and all the genuine connection he's ever had for a long time.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Aidan is a quick-witted, intelligent boy with a sense of understanding like no one else his age. He exists as a meditator and understands all perspectives before he speaks ill of them. Aidan is invested only in Lightsabers and generally strays from the Force, making his ascension to knighthood so much more difficult, but he does portray himself as a Knight would, treating others with respect while also respecting himself. Aidan is overall lonely, he talks to very few people since he believes one-sided relationships are self-destructive. Instead, he's often training in way of the blade, and developing scientific theories rather than practicing the Force. He's always someone good to talk to or get advice from.
STRENGTHS
• Aidan is obviously a duelist character, he specializes in close encounters with lightsabers.
• Aidan's beliefs make mind trick especially hard to use on him, even at his young age he can resist weak suggestions through the force.
• He's agile & quick
• Force-Enhancements allow him to become overwhelmingly fast.
WEAKNESSES
• Aidan's non-physical Force prowess ends at basic Telekinesis.
• Aidan is very prone to emotional manipulation due to feeling lonely & isolated.
• Aidan's swordplay is his only and main priority, thus he's usually by himself no matter if he's outside the temple or inside the temple. This makes it easy to isolate him.
• In order to effectively be "strong", he must amplify his physical abilities with the force, compromising longevity.
• Aidan cannot maintain any Force Ability without using both his hands unless it's physical augmentation.
• Aidan has weak Force Resistance abilities.
• Aidan's years of isolation make him apathetic and vulnerable to anti-social tendencies.
• Aidan's upbringing and disregard for most things that aren't lightsabers make his piloting, pickpocketing, and even reading skills suffer.
• Aidan's is a child, and suffers from endurance problems.
HISTORY
Under earlier circumstance, the surname Bard would carry Aidan into the level of the elites! However, after so long in which his family has lived in relative isolation, the legendary "Kilo Bard" has been erased into folklore and legend, and so to has his religion. Aidan has nothing to do with any prophecies or connections to lost historical figures, rather, he must carve a path for himself. He was born far off from any wonderous feats or galactic significance, a Tatooine-born boy born by complete accident.
His earliest years are almost entirely absent from record, and that absence says most of what needs to be said. His parents weren't war-heroes, or trying to make a name for themselves. Instead, they vanished, quietly, practically, without explanation. He never knew his parents by name, they left before he could even speak—not because he couldn't—he chose not to.
Aidan survived on Tatooine through scraps, but he wasn't one to be overly attached to the material world. His life lacked connection, and it lacked purpose. He desperately reached out to hobbies, and one of them was cave-exploration. On Tatooine, Imperial remnants were everywhere, ancient wars and galaxy-changing plans were carved in stone or existed as lost helmets. He disregarded those though, the tale of the lightsaber intrigued him most. He grasped at straws, learning his Force-Sensitivity, and his blatant lack of a connection to it, and it lead him to a lost, damaged lightsaber. One carried by an unknown man, but now, deconstructed by the scavenger for parts. He found the most important proponent, a blue kyber crystal, the power of any blade. He reverse engineered the lightsaber, reconstructing the parts with his own visual flair adorned across it. The Force guided him like a vessel, and at the age of ten, he heard the roaring ignition of a lightsaber blade for the first time—a lightsaber he constructed.
Tatooine was a backwater planet, but it had its share of individuals laying low. Folklore travelled like a plague, and as soon as one person knew, the planet would know in mere weeks. Aidan had heard word of mouth of a Jedi school far from Tatooine, besides his lightsaber, this was the first time he felt purpose. He had to find this school, hone himself with his prized blade, become something beyond whatever he was now. He didn't need friends, no, he did a few favors. He helped move chairs, delivered packages, traded his own food for credits. Just enough to chase a rumor to the mid-rim to find Chalacta. One commercial ship to change his life entirely, and it did. Since his indoctrination to the Jedi school, Aidan has professed to surpass the Battlemaster eventually, and has showcased his affinity for Lightsabers boldly. However, his lack of social skills cause him trouble, he's often as isolated as he can be; he can't help but feel and be alone.
