Description:
As part of the new line of ships being developed by the newly christened Aurora Industries for the open-market, the AI-001 Pulsar-class Starfighter is perfect for generic fighter missions. Equipped with a nose mounted heavy laser cannon, two laser cannons on the wing tips, and two torpedo launchers with a four torpedo magazine each, the fighter is capable of handling its own in a fight. However, the ship does have weaker armoring to compensate for the key feature of the Pulsar-class Starfighter.
The Pulsar-class starfighter has two modes (folded and attack) with the folded mode allowing for faster speeds and better maneuverability, but only allowing the nose mounted cannon to fire. The attack mode is slightly slower and less maneuverable, but the ship has access to all of its weapon systems when deployed like that.
The starfighter is also equipped with a Class 1 Hyperdrive to allow it to act independently of larger ships
