Ahch-To! Bless You!

The sound of the TIEs could be heard quite fast, and from far away. And it sounded like they were coming closer. Blast. What was the First Order even doing here, on this old jedi world. Well, it didn't matter. What mattered now was staying alive, and making sure Lori, Hawk and Arla did too. Please don't go to the island the others are on.

They had come Close now. "Blast! Arla, take the guns, now!" he shouted, as he made the ship take of from the ground. When he flew from the island, one of the rocks there scratched the ship, due to the rough terrain. Now it was only time for speed, and no finesse. Still, Lori would probably not be too happy about it. "Come on, Sparrow, fly faster. Arla, how is it With those blasters?" He still hadn't decided what would be best: To attack the TIEs head on, or to try and Escape and lure the TIEs further away.

"The cannons are active, and I'm ready," came the reply from Arla. Finally one good thing this day. But what to do now? If he tried to attack them, they could be shot Down, or the First Order could send more TIEs to this location. But if he fled, they could come too far from the others, and not be ready if they needed help. And the threat of getting shot Down was still there.

In the end, he chose to lure them away, by first attacking some, and then flee. As the ships approached each other, Arla activated the guns, and blew one of the TIEs to pieces. Gray avoided the other, and hoped it had warned the others. Then he turned the ship around, and flew off away from the islands With the ruins. Hechecked the scanners, and saw that more TIEs were followign them. Perfect. "Be ready With those guns, we will need them soon." Hopefully, the First Order hadn't found Lori or Hawk yet.

"Squire," Khet said, calmly replacing his helm. "Get back to the ship."
The little droid didn't argue, peeling away and rumbling back onto the Cloak.
While Khet would have liked to tell Rhaka to also wait on the ship, the Yuuzhan Vong was not a patient sort and was not a great shot with the laser cannons.
Besides, if the Sith were here, it was for the Crown. And that meant troopers - lots of them - would be swarming the islands soon. They had to be fast and ready for anything. And having Rhaka watching his back was always preferable to being alone with new allies.

As they entered the dark stairwell, quietly pondering if these stairs were natural or manufactured, Khet saw Lori conjure some Force Light. She was talented to be sure. He wondered, somewhat ideally, how long she had been trained for? Force Light - despite Hawk's protest to use her lightsaber - was not a particularly difficult Force spell. Indeed, he had learned it from his mother at the tender age of two, still living out of an old cargo hauler.
She had been delighted and apprehensive as to his completion of the trick so young. Hiding a Force Sensitive child was one thing, but explaining away balls of light bobbing about the cabin? Quite another.

He reached out with his own senses, stirring the moss and lichen on the walls, willing them to wake.
A soft green glow spread out along the moss, natural bioluminescence stirring from long dormancy, hundreds of little specks glimmering in the dark. He withdrew his presence from them, and cast a cloak of nothingness over them, trying to hide their Force Energies.
"You might want to dim that light in any case. With Sith about, you don't want to provide more than you need to."

Lori figured that a lightsaber was far more visible than a little ball of light. It was much bigger, not to mention the colours would be easily spotted. So of course she had to disagree with [member="Hawk Solo"] . It wasn't as though she hid her abilities, however few they were. She wasn't like her mom.

But then [member="Khet Kursyr"] agreed with him. But not without providing a different and even better solution. Lori let her ball of light dissipate as she saw the moss glittering and glowing on it's own. "Wicked. Thanks." He seemed to be good to have around. And perhaps even his Vong friend too. But that all depended on what they were up against. Or rather, how many they were up against....

Lori pocketed her map again. "Alright, let's stay close. We don't need anyone getting lost. I think that I know the way." And so she led the team, keeping to the left as her map and research suggested. One thing that was on her mind though was of how they were all going to escape once they found the Crown. The First Order could be waiting for them. Not only would they have to fight on the ground, but in space as well. Neither of which were going to be easy.

Eslo lands his X-Wing where near where Rey and Chewbacca landed years ago and rushes to the remains of the First Jedi Temple

Eslo begins to wonder why the First Order would be here? Why they discovered this sacred place and why they would come here in the first place.

Khet had managed to maneuver his way past the other Jedi, Hawk, to walk beside Lori. When they came to another cross section - perhaps a cave in, perhaps design, it was hard to tell - he glanced over her shoulder at the map.
"I understand our mission is pressing," he said as she returned the painting to her side. "But may I ask as to why our map is on the back of a portrait of you?"

Rhaka paused, sniffing the air and falling a few paces behind the force adepts. Something was wafting up the tunnel behind them. Something sterile yet like a thunderstorm. Lightsabers? Plasteel armor perhaps and blaster weapons. With the sea breeze rushing by them, it was hard to say how far they were back, but certainly in the tunnels.
"Khet," he hissed, quietly. "We aren't alone anymore. If that Jeedai girl has an escape route on that map, we'd best scout it out before we get boxed in. Tunnel fighting is going to be a nightmare for us."

Knight's Cloak
Poe and Squire had scrambled the ships engines as soon as Master Khet had ordered them too. It was bare minutes before TIEs and shuttles poured from the skies above, the two droids juking and twisting the freighter through some rocky crags.
Something that Khet had always told them was to save the ship at all costs, even if it meant leaving him behind. Getting it back to Weik and his mother was the most important thing they could do.
That didn't mean the droids liked it.

As to whether or not the First Order ships would even care about an old freighter was to be seen, but the old vessel had more than a few tricks up its sleeve. It had enough fuel to evade the TIEs for about an hour, then the droids were to escape to hyperspace.
Despite Khet's best efforts, he seemed to make friends in every spaceport, and a straight shot from Ach-to back they way they had come would land the Knight's Cloak directly in the arms of a friendly station.

Lori raised a brow [member="Khet Kursyr"] asked about what her map was drawn on. Her body stiffened a little. "What makes you think it's me? Once we find what we're looking for, it'll be burned to ash." In truth it was a portrait of her, but it no longer held any sentimental value. It was just the only thing that she had available at the time to draw the map on. She wasn't going to trust such a thing to a datapad that could be hacked.

As the Vong spoke up, Lori chewed the inside of her cheek. She hadn't anticipated that others would be on the hunt as well, let alone the First Order. Or if they ever were, she didn't expect that they'd all be there at the same time. Lori figured she'd be alone, that it would just be her and her crew. What were the odds that she'd be so wrong?

She stopped and took out the map again, moving towards some of the glowing moss so that it could better light up the whole parchment. "This whole tunnel system is a maze with plenty of dead ends. I only marked where we were supposed to go, instead of the entire system. I'm sorry, but I was in a bit of a rush. But there are booty traps further down. And we could even set up some of our own to add to that." Lori brought her own supplies. They weren't large explosives or anything, but they'd do well enough.
