SPECIAL FEATURES
• Lightsaber resistant.
• Deflects blasterfire.
• Stun: as a stun whip there are electric stun nodes embedded along it that emit a powerful shock

Strengths:
• Whip: as a whip this weapon operates in a unique fashion in combat. It’s great for reaching out and delivering nasty whacks to opponents that can often cut through unprotected skin. However, it also is great for grasping and grappling opponents that otherwise would be out of reach.
• Alchemized Leather: the nature of this tarentek hide makes using the force on it rather challenging, if not impossible. Those force users caught within its grasp will have a harder time using the force as well—it isn’t impossible just harder.
• Shock: the shock charge delivered by this whip is rather effective, even against those in armor. Since most armor is conductive, victims often find themselves with a nasty set of paralysis afterwards. Faraday cages can minimize this but still electric shocks can cause damage to electronic devices. Since most modern armors are highly augmented, it poses a threat to the modern super sci-fi soldier. The battery can be completely expended for a single shock strong to possibly kill a being. Other side effects could include temporal paralysis (results may vary in length), partial paralysis, lethargy, nerve damage, brain damage, muscular damage, electric burns, and so on. The stronger the shock, typically the more severe the wound.

Extendable: Like most advanced models of the shock whip, this one retracts most (but not all) of its length into its handle. This does however, make it heavy for its size.
Weaknesses:
• Exotic: as an exotic weapon the whip doesn't adhere to many of the great rules that standard combat weapons have. While it is fantastic for grappling, a whip is basically worthless for parrying.
• Non-lethal: while this weapon is great for stunning and grappling opponents, unlike a blaster or light saber it wasn’t designed to kill (unless someone is whipped to death which is a feat in itself, or the battery is drained for a single, potentially deadly shock). It doesn’t cleave off limbs from most beings. It doesn’t stab into and puncture vital organs. And it doesn’t easily severe major blood vessels. This whip, like all others, requires tactics and cunning to use effectively more than brute force.

DESCRIPTION
As a cunning fighter, Zye loved the whip. As a youth he felt it’s sting and the suffering it could inflict on a being. It was little wonder than when he was given the opportunity, the youth quickly studied the weapon with its benefits and downfalls. Soon the sound of its crack against flesh and the hiss it made cutting through the air filled him with satisfaction rather than horror.

His practice went from punishing maleficent slaves to brutally murdering Sithspawn his uncle had captured as Zye’s training grew rapidly more intense to desensitize the boy. However, Zye’s love of the whip angered his father. He continued to offer his son to rely on a more lethal weapon and still the boy refused. As an adolescent his true test of skill would come in a pit fight with a Sithspawn at the order of his father in a cruel attempt to teach his son the consequences of disobeying.

He went in to face the monster with nothing but the whip, robbed of the short sword he has come to rely on as well. Rather than running and being beaten by the monster’s greater strength as his family watched on, his father was surprised to see his son flourish. In a fight that lasted hours, Zye deftly relied on his agility and what his father had perceived as the whips greatest weaknesses to beat his enemy to death.

In return for his sons diligence and skill, Zye’s father rewarded him with the means to craft a whip of greater worth and ability than the adolescent had ever wielded before.

The battery can be completely expended for a single shock strong enough to kill the average being.

  • You'll have to rephrase these parts. I get what you're going for, but the ultimate result is always up to the other writer, and this comes too close to calling a lethal hit on your writing partner.

Exotic: as an exotic weapon this whip requires extra effort and focus to use. Not everyone knows how to use a whip, and that’s not without its reasons.
  • This weakness is fluff as-is, and is rendered further irrelevant just by reading the description of the weapon. Your character is clearly well-trained to use it, so it's a non-issue.
  • Please replace this with a hard weakness that can be exploited by another writer, rather than dependent on you to roleplay.
