Building from the mounted repulsor jammers installed in some of their Krakkiss personal carriers, Mercenary Arms further evolved the design to an easily portable version. It suffers from limited range and battery life as well as projecting an energy bloom across sensors. However it will still negate every repulsorlift field in a hundred meters, creating problems for landspeeders, spaceships, fighters, tanks, airspeeders, landing craft, and a wide variety of other vehicles and technology that rely on repulsors to function.
A simple design consisting of a central pillar housing the power pack, controls, and tripod legs, a trio of panels can be attached each casting the field in a 120 degree arc up to a full circular dome. Due to its nature, the device is unarmored and any blaster shot to its casing will likely destroy the jamming device. Enterprising individuals would do well to hide them out of sight in vehicles, buildings, or behind other protective barriers to protect these expensive devices.
