STANDARD FEATURES
The Hammerhead-class Corvette contains standard features technologically comparable to other military corvettes in the modern era. Its computers, sensors, and other systems are of similar codes and specifications of other ships.

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Strengths:
  • Power Converter: The new models now include Power Converters and a small reserve Power Generator, which allows them to boost one of their combat systems in battle, or assist with a rapid startup sequence.
  • Balanced: The Hammerhead is known for its all around flexibility, the workhorse of any fleet.
Weaknesses:
  • Unassigned Energy: In combat, the reserve power must be assigned by the crew or droid or it is not utilized or directed. This means when ambushed by enemy craft, the vessel is not able to perform at its full potential for a time.
  • One System at a Time: The corvette’s power converter can only direct its reserve power to a single combat system at a time, taking several moments to stop the flow of energy to one system, redirect it, and begin the flow of energy to the next system.
DESCRIPTION
The Sphyrna-class Corvette, a continuation from the ancient Hammerhead Cruiser of the Old Republic era, was at one point the standard line vessel for the Republic Navy and grew into a competent escort vessel for the Rebellion and New Republic. Technology standards and codes from eight hundred years ago have changed, and so the updated Hammerhead has been fitted with modernized computers and systems with the post-Gulag era standards. Designed as a supporting ship or acting as a pack hunter, the Hammerhead is back in the void.

Four engines set in a diamond pattern provide adequate thrust for the vessel, its weapons are standard for patrol and escort craft with a balance of turbolasers and defensive guns. The Hammerhead has military grade deflector shields, adequate armor, and a bank of AE-CM1 Dampener Chaff launchers for its defensive systems.

On either side of the iconic forward blade, there are heavy laser cannons situated that are able to fire forward, to the dorsal and ventral arcs, and partially behind the corvette. Amidships there is a dorsal tower with a twin turbolaser mounted on it, acting as the vessel’s primary weapon battery. Two batteries of twin turbolaser cannons are mounted on the port and starboard cross section just before the engine blocks, and two along the port and starboard of the neck section provide the ship with a full range of overlapping defensive fire on the dorsal and ventral surfaces of the ship.

As with many other modern designs used by the Resistance, the Hammerhead has been fitted with a Power Converter which it uses to modulate the flow of power from its primary reactor to amplify its combat systems. Using this system it is able to boost either its weapons, shields, or engines slightly while in combat. It takes the system a few short moments to stop the flow of energy to one system, redirect the powerflow, and re-enable the system once more. This provides the patrol corvette with flexibility and versatility in its role, allowing it to better support against enemy capital ships, outflank and outrun formations, and grant it better survivability when caught alone.

Please add this to the advanced systems list. This is a non-standard feature.

L Laira Darkhold , this looks pretty solid, one minor formatting quip again and we can get this approved.

Hangar: Base

Our current template hangar fields for corvettes are the following:

  • Hangar Space: (Please provide the amount of fighters/support craft this submission can hold in it's hangar by count of Squadrons, which hold 12 average Starfighters. The higher your squadron count, the lower your Armament and number of advanced systems should be. )
50m [Base: 0 | Very Low: 0 | Low: 0 | Average: 0 | High: 0 | Very High: 0 | Extreme: 0 ]
100m [Base: 0 | Very Low: 0 | Low: 0 | Average: 0 | High: 0 | Very High: 1 | Extreme: 2 ]
200m [Base: 0 | Very Low: 0 | Low: 0 | Average: 1 | High: 2 | Very High: 3 | Extreme: 4 ]
  • Hangar Allocations: (This is the allocated amounts of starfighters and support craft (dropships, shuttles, gunships, etc) this submission can hold in its hangar based on the maximum hangar space capacity listed above)
    • Starfighters: x squadrons
    • Support Craft: x squadrons

As long as we have "hangar space" and "hangar allocations" somewhere in your template, we'll be good to go.

L Laira Darkhold , I do not see the specific words "Hangar Allocations:" and "Hangar Space:" in your submission currently. As it stands right now, those exact words must be present in the submission per this factory rule:

The entire template must be used in your submission. Users can customize templates to their own personal liking, but the template's fields are not to be changed/removed/altered, additional information may be added but base fields may not be changed or removed.

L Laira Darkhold , the subfields for the hangar allocations too please ("Starfighters:" and "Support Craft:"). I know it's going to be zero or none for both of them, but per the rule referenced above, they can't be omitted entirely (though I can understand if it feels redundant):

Hangar Allocations:
(This is the allocated amounts of starfighters and support craft (dropships, shuttles, gunships, etc) this submission can hold in its hangar based on the maximum hangar space capacity listed above)

  • Starfighters: x squadrons
  • Support Craft: x squadrons

I'll be taking this submission over.

As the previous factory judge pointed out, the templates must be adhered to exactly, that includes the titles of the fields. Please correct this in the Hangar Allocations field as asked.

Also, for ease of reading and review in the future, please do not include an unnecessary number of empty lines in your posts.

Once this is done we can move on to approving this submission.

Hangar Allocations: None
  • Starfighter Squadrons: 0
  • Dropship, Light Freighter, Shuttle and Transport Squadrons: 0

This is what your submission currently says, however below is the excerpt from the template.

As the previous judge told you, per factory rules the following is true, I have bolded the part that is relevant here.

The entire template must be used in your submission. Users can customize templates to their own personal liking, but the template's fields are not to be changed/removed/altered, additional information may be added but base fields may not be changed or removed.

Please bring your submission in line with the factory template.
