Feedback Advice for a new character

Been enjoying my new military character, Riya Pashen . She is no starfighter pilot, not a naval captain, nor a commando yet rather a tank officer which is an interesting path to go with. Of course, I acknowledge there are different challenges to roleplaying this type, but staying the course. I do intend to write her as a character who just happens be a tanker, that she does have a life outside of her duties, with hopes, insecurities, strengths and flaws. It’s one of my concerns is the availability of story options for her compared to other character types.

Any advice on the matter?

Find a way to join everything. Meet other characters, socialize any way you can. The Tanker type will come with more PvP oriented threads, but you'll feel more invested if you just get her out there and start developing the character outside of just the "tanker" job. Even if you don't see the availability of story options, it's always there!

That is true. The Exhibition of Light thread has been great for her(granted I need to get her to interact with people after the race). It’s just when I tried to do a LFG thread for her beforehand the response had been limited and the one thread I set up for it as a result hasn’t gotten any responses for nearly a week.

Though your advice to try to join everything, meet, and socialize as much as possible seems to be the best approach. Especially since the postiing a LFG for her is not effective currently so far.

Yup. LFG's only get you so far. Put her out there. Join every thread you can and snag people with an open tag/people who don't have anyone to write with. You will see more stories for her open up from there.
