Description: With the older model of security droid sold off, Kalor-Tech needed a new and improved model to become it's standard security droid on the open market. The solution was the Advanced Security Protocol Droid (or ASPD). Whereas the older KT-1 droids were stretched thin with their uses in both Military and Security situations, the ASPD specializes precisely on Security protocols. With an advanced program developed by Killian himself, the droid knows a multitude of procedures and techniques to implement when protecting a target or area. Alongside superior programming, the droid's photoreceptors have a much larger field of view thanks to them being located on a rotating sphere on the head. Also on this sphere are several sensors and photoreceptors, with Thermal and Standard settings. A live video feed can also be accessed by the owner with their own secure login. As for materials, the plating of the droid is a Desh-Maranium alloy which cuts the expense and weight of the droid drastically. This allows the droid to perform more fluid and faster movements while in operation. The downside of such an alloy however is it is less durable, and so additional armor is required for the droid to be protected. When bought, the droids come with standard blaster-resistant vests, but they are nothing special, especially if it takes heavy fire.
