Strengths.png

  • Force Imbued: Due to the environment of Dyspeth and its Nexus, the formed crystals are heavily imbued with the Force and will not only provide strength, rejuvenation, and kinetic amplification, but oftentimes share a special connection with those who use them.

  • The Ties That Bind: The bond shared between the crystal and its user is amplified when in the presence of others who also use Aduleria Crystals, making the users more formidable when together. The connections forged from prolonged exposure can become powerful enough to be felt from all corners of the Galaxy.

  • Restorative: Because of their Force imbuement, Aduleria Crystals stimulate and speed up the bodies natural regenerative abilities when wounded or injured, but cannot replace the need for bacta or the employ of other medical methods when it comes to more serious injuries.

  • Metaphysical: After years of attunement and training with their user, these crystals slowly stimulate and balance the mind, allowing those who are sensitive to the machinations of the Force to reach higher levels of consciousness that opens them up to a deeper understanding of the Force and its will.

  • The Dyspethi Curse: As most are well aware, those who live on Dyspeth share a reliance on its Force Nexus to such an extent that were they to leave the planet, it might very well kill them. The Aduleria Crystals, however, grant the user with the same benefits they’d glean from the Nexus - a piece of home, away from home, allowing them to survive off world. Were this crystal to be broken or shattered, the Dyspethi would fade at an accelerated rate until they succumbed to death. Thus, the relationship between a Dyspethi and their crystal is nearly parasitic in nature.

  • Corruption: Due to the nature of the Force Bonds that it creates between users, if a bonded crystal is ‘bled’ and corrupted by one who has fallen to the Darkside, it has a strong potential to influence those who’ve been linked together and pull them under, as well.

  • Rare: These crystals are only found on Dyspeth in the Amazriel Caverns and not only are they difficult to find due to their iridescent coloring, making them nearly transparent, they have only been authorized for cultivation by the Disciples of Twilight. Most of the crystals that have been found outside of the organization are scattered throughout the Galaxy and were likely obtained through questionable sources at one point.

  • Force Signature: The Force Nexus in which these crystals are exposed to, gives them a weak, but detectable Force signature that cannot be cloaked.

Description.png

The Aduleria Crystal was originally discovered by the founder of the Disciples of Twilight while tracking down the source of a Force signature reaching out to her in the perilous mountains of Argentum on Dyspeth- a great mountain range that laid between the capital city of Iriyaaru and the great river of Lucent.

Tracking the signature would prove to be no easy feat for the Founder, and impossible for those lacking in Force sensitivity, not only because of the tight passageways and sheer cliff sides, but also due to the dangerous and carnivorous creatures that call these mountains home.

Upon arriving at the Amazriel Caverns after a long journey, the founder discovered that the Force was inherently stronger and more concentrated within the caverns than anywhere else, hearing the voice of the Force calling out in extreme clarity, ultimately leading the founder to a cropping of crystals that verged on sentience, that had been left relatively untouched for centuries.

After careful harvesting and analysis, the founder crafted her own lightsaber from the crystal and began taking her apprentices on routine pilgrimages to collect their own crystal for the crafting of their blades.

Due to their unique properties, the crystals became an essential part of an apprentices training in their journey of becoming Disciples, sharing a special relationship that helped nurture and guide the Force user they became attuned with.
