Adrift and At Peace

Corellia

The sea rose and fell beneath her in a gentle fashion, cradling her easily. She could have fallen asleep there upon the waters surface, but she did not wish to die via a lungful of water. Time held no meaning as she floated there weightless and carefree.

By the time her eyes fluttered open once more it was clear that a good deal of time had slipped through her fingers. The sun had traveled across the sky, and her fingers and toes were wrinkled, but not an ounce of regret settled upon her. The time lost had been well spent in her mind. Righting herself in the water she was pleased to see that she hadn't drifted far from the shore.

A short swim later she was walking back onto the beach, her hands busy wringing water from her hair. Taking a seat upon her towel she began to braid her hair, tying the end off with a bit of leather. At her side rested her bag and guitar, neither of which had been disturbed while she was in the water. She was alone upon the beach save for a few locals enjoying the tranquil day in a fashion similar to her own.

A light smile touch her lips as she slid her shades back over her feral orbs. Reaching into her bag she pulled out her book and opened it up where she had left off. Laying back upon her towel Anara sighed, completely at ease. Just by looking at her you would never know she was a Sith Lord.

Corellia.

It'd been quite some time since Josh DragonsFlame had been here. Of course, it'd been quite some time since he had been at a beach as well. Busy busy Grandmaster and all.

But that was all over now. Chit had hit the fan and Josh had been ousted as if he were some sort of Sith Emperor. Now, he travelled, disgusted with the Order's new "direction", to show them just what being a Jedi meant again.

But after all the slave ring ruining, crime ring slicing, Sith Lord dicing he'd done on his "time off", it was time to relax and clear his head for a change. The Jedi, force presence hidden, walked barefoot on the edge of the water, shades on, and looking happier then he had in a long time.

You wouldn't even know by looking at him that he was a Jedi Master, nor the former Grandmaster. He dug his feet into the sand and grinned almost childishly at the feeling of the sand between his toes.

Perhaps at one time Anara might have gone about the universe hiding who and what she was, simply to make her life easier, but no longer. She was a new woman, so to speak, and so she was naturally curious who would come to call when they felt her in the neighborhood. So far it had certainly proved interesting and not the least bit troublesome, she wasn't about to change her new tactics now.

I'll be the spider and you be the fly.
Smirking she set her book aside with a yawn and stretched, one arm finding its way beneath her head. Behind dark shades eyes of molten gold slid closed, some song she'd heard once long ago upon her lips as she hummed softly for her ears alone.

As he walked, his eyes locked with those (Even under the sunglasses) of a woman who he'd passed by. He stopped for a moment, and shot her a small smile. He felt social, for some reason.

"And what's a beautiful woman doing out here by herself?" he asked, a smirk crossing his lips. Ah, he was in a flirty mood again. Hopefully she wasn't one of those easily offended types... That could be bad.

He sensed an aura from her... That stink of the dark side. But it wasn't his first rodeo with darksiders, so it didn't bother him all that much.

Molten orbs fluttered open and she raised her head just enough to spy the man now casting a shadow over her. Had she been a hot headed individual she would have been irritated that he was blocking the sun, but she didn't care one way or another. Slowly she pushed herself up onto her elbows, a smile upon her lips.

"Enjoying herself. What's an attractive man such as yourself doing out here all alone?"

She could give as good as she could get, besides she was in an exceptionally good mood.

His shining brown eyes stared into the molten orbs of the Sith, and a small smirk crossed the lips of the blonde. He tried to gauge her reaction for the moment, and watched as a smile was shown on hers.

"Just seeing the sights, having a good time... It seems I found quite the sight right in front of me though" he teased with a small, teasing smile.

It was good to relax for once, and be in a good mood... And that was showing quite well.

Anara grinned and leaned her head back a bit, unabashedly putting her body upon display for him. She was being an absolute tease. After a moment she raised her head and met his gaze again, pushing herself up into a fully seated position. Seeing as how she was in a rather good mood she scooted back upon her blanket a bit, then patted the now empty spot for him to take if he so desired.

"Aren't you a charmer."

He smirked a bit, taking the offered seat as he looked over at her. Ah, he could tell she was being a tease. As was he. He met her gaze now, it seemed she was in a good mood, or, at least she seemed so. He could sense the aura though, close now... But it mattered naught to him.

"Am I now?" he asked, the smirk still on his face as he stared into the woman's eyes. "And here I thought I was just good at telling the truth"

At some point during their little game it was like a change came over Anara. A soft smile settled upon her lips and suddenly she no longer seemed as though she were a predator. She was simply a woman, flirting with a man that had initiated the whole flirtatious conversation.

"Perhaps, but you are still doing your best to be as charming as possible."

She smirked softly, curious as to how the man would respond.

He watched her carefully, steadily noticing the change. The tension had settled some, it seemed... For now, anyway. He smirked faintly at her response.

"Maybe I'm not even trying?" he asked, a small grin crossing his lips. "It doesn't take a whole lot to tell the truth, after all... Being charming's just a bonus"

He watched her carefully now, curious about her response...

She snorted softly and nodded, reclining upon her section of the blanket as the ocean breeze stirred her vibrant mane. "This is true...Care to astound me with any other truths that you see?" She gave him a quizzical look, a smirk playing across her lips.

He gave a laugh as he watched her with a curious smile. He allowed himself to breathe in the sea air, the atmosphere... It was amazing indeed. "Well, I could say you have the most amazing lips, but then we might get carried away" he cracked, a smirk crossing his face. The Jedi Master cracked his neck and just watched curiously to see what she would say, or do, next...
