Strengths

Adaptable: Adilene is a very adaptable woman and doesn't stay unbalanced for long.
Confident: She knows her abilities and her limits and is comfortable with who she is.
Challenging: The senator loves to challenge people into bettering themselves and loves seeing other people succeed over the obstacles and become better people.
Dedicated: Adilene is set in her ways and has dedicated her life to her people, her planet and the Republic, in that order. Sometimes she can't help but laugh at who she has become as it wasn't too long ago that she cared only for herself.
Honest: The senator is honest to a fault. She doesn't mix words or make up stories, she has a tendency to tell it like it is, which makes her a bit of an oddity among the senate.
Humorous: A woman with a strong sense of humor, especially those that involve situational humor, Adilene is quick to laugh with that large smile of hers and quick to poke fun at the galaxy at large.

Weaknesses

✗ Stubborn: While she is dedicated, it isn't always a positive trait as Adilene is incredibly stubborn. Once she plants her feet, she cannot be moved.
✗ Possessive: What is her's is her's. She doesn't share. Her people are her people, she will look out for them and a part of her becomes agitated when someone tries to do her job for her. This extends to any personal objects and, heaven forbid, anyone she loves showing attention to other people.
✗ Prejudiced: Adilene is very prejudiced against Hutts and the various Sith run empires regardless of what they call themselves: First Order, Sith Empire, Galactic Empire, just a bunch of Nerf Herders wearing different hats to make them feel special and unique.
✗ Aggressive: The senator can be a very aggressive woman in politics, combat and even her personal life. She is a punch first ask questions never kind of woman.
Critical: While she loves to challenge people and watch them grow, this means she is constantly examining people, judging and weighing them, looking for deficiencies and untapped potential that can be grown.
Trust Issues: Due to her past, Adilene has her fair share of trust issues especially if someone tries to get too close to her and makes an attempt to pass the boundaries of associate.

BIOGRAPHY:

Adilene was born on Abhean to a rather influential family, hence the, in her opinion, silly name who were trying to grow their political clout and further expand their influence and power. She was put through advanced academies and tutelage, groomed to be married off to an equally dull man to join together two powerful families and guarantee the Gallier family rise to power. Like many teenagers, she rebelled and fled from Abhean on board a smuggler vessel called, 'the Luscious Lady,' yes, she knows how awful that name was and the pilot was twice as bad, but everyone has that one regret and, well, he was certainly one of hers.

With the crew of the Luscious Lady, Adilene learned the tricks of the trade. How to evade patrols, how to hide goods, where to bring goods and how to look out for number one. She discovered that the hard way when, running low on fuel and creds, the crew had traded her to a local Hutt for supplies. By the time she realized what had happened, they were taking off and she was dragged away. She spent three years with that Hutt and a part of her died in that palace. When she finally got out, as the Hutt, Mor'Koba, needed a new pilot and she was the best he had at hand, she was a changed woman. More jaded and closed off then she used to be.

She paid off her 'debt' to Mor'Koba through her work and got into the smuggling business on her own. Sometimes, Adilene would take on partners or associates but never permanent as, in her line of work, it was always who betrayed who first and as she didn't tend to lie and was piss poor at it when she tried, it was usually her that ended up with the short end of the stick. She killed, she smuggled things she wasn't proud of, and more then a few times, she thought about going home, but each time the thought crept into her mind, she would push it away. Adilene wasn't the same person she once was, she was no longer the young girl they had plans for, no longer the girl who could settle down and have a family. A part of her was lost and broken and she wasn't getting it back, all it was was a haunting reminder of what could have been if she hadn't been so impetuous.

It all changed when she delivered some weapons to a small colony on the ruined world of Makeb. A world desolated by the Hutts and kept around by the ancient sith as a mineral despite eons past. It had been inhospitable since, but small groups of people had recently returned to recolonize the planet. They had run into problems with pirates. The pirates demanded tribute in the form of Isotope-5, an immensely powerful power source that was only available on Makeb. The colonist were, in her opinion, fools with delusions of nobility and refused the pirates on principle. They had come to this dead world to fashion a new future, a brighter future, one of hope and prosperity and they would not bow to the darkness now. They were going to die. Adilene knew it, she had seen it over and over again. A never ending cycle, good people being crushed by the darkness of the universe, but it wasn't her problem.

Just like it wasn't their problem when she got shot. It wasn't their problem when they spent what little resources they had trying to save her. It wasn't their problem making her feel apart of something again. It wasn't their problem yet they did it anyways. No demands, no request, just doing it because it was the right thing to do. Over the weeks, something changed within her. She wanted to be apart of this, she needed to be apart of this. Needed to be more then what she was. When the pirates came, Adilene organized the defense and despite the odds led the colonist to victory, but at a grave cost. Many colonist did not make it, but they could, and would, rebuild. The pirates weren't gone, all they had done is bloody their nose, but it was a start and Adilene would die before she let Makeb fall again, before she let anyone hurt her people.
