- [Zweihänder]: Larger than any standard lightsaber, the Janksaber is a hefty Two-Handed blade that provides immense cutting and reflective power.
- [What.. is this?]: The weapon itself is less intuative than its counterparts. Ignition requires a deeper understanding of the mechanisms, preventing the uninitiated from using it.
- [Zweihänder]: While a larger size is a benefit, it comes at a cost. The weight makes the weapon difficult to maneuver effectively, making defensive actions slow and unwieldy.
- [Unstable]: The immense amount of energy being emitted is only kept in check by the Receiver. If the lower Hilt or Receiver itself takes too much damage, it will overload - potentially destroying the wielder and anyone within a small radius.
- [Use The Pointy End]: Due to the reliance on a Receiver, the Janksaber is unable to stab / thrust.
The Janksaber is inspired by the standard weapons of the Jedi and Sith. Created from a variety of bootleg schematics, the JS is powered by a large Zophis Crystal, the instability of which requires the use of a Receiver to 'catch' the plasma energy as the blade ignites. Without such an addition it would be prone to consistent, often fatal, malfunctions.
