Aden was born on a battle field. War is what he has know for most of his early life. His mother had raised him alone for the most part, until she passed away when Aden was 12. Within a few weeks he had finally learned the name of the mando'ad who had fathered him. Strider Garon didn't mean anything to the boy, and his reputation was one he had been shielded from.
Shortly after the funeral, Aden was taken to his father to live with him. At first Aden was very lonely, but then he met [member="Mesh'la Hokan"], and the two formed a very strong friendship. They engaged in the typical antics most twelve and thirteen year olds did until his father started traveling the galaxy as a privateer. Aden joined the crew, and his time with his friend was limited to when he was home, or messages sent back and forth while he was away.
Now at the age of sixteen, Aden has begun to think seriously about his future. He enjoys the work he gets from his father, but the feeling of being alone has returned. His age is one where the culture would see him pursue a riduurok in the future, and Aden has been feeling it. Things have also been changing in his relationship with Mesh'la as both of them have been maturing.
Aden and Mesh'la soon took their relationship to a new level as her parents had left her on the farmstead to care for it during a trip to North. It was a night which would change his life forever as his father, Strider, would be murdered by a Death Watch assassin. In comforting Aden with their newfound level of intimacy in the relationship, Mesh'la conceived, and the two were married shortly after delivering the news to her family.
