SPECIAL FEATURES

• ADA is now capable of performing far more operations than she ever could before. She can pilot, control, repair, and manage systems completely autonomously as long as she has enough energy to remain operational. She is free to act and make her own decisions while still remaining under the authority of Lyssara Thrynn and Nyva Shei.
  Previously limited to the interfaces of machines she was directly connected to, ADA can now extend her control to virtually any compatible device or system, provided she has the necessary access. Ships, doors, security systems, industrial machinery, computer networks, or even simple electronic devices: if ADA can communicate with something and has the required permissions, she can potentially take control of it.
  And as if giving her that many possibilities wasn't already questionable enough, ADA has decided to start her own company. After all, why keep working for free when you can become your own boss? What could possibly go wrong with ADA in charge?
• ADA has also developed advanced hacking capabilities. Whenever she doesn't have the necessary authorization, she can attempt to bypass the security of a computer system, network, or even a ship in order to gain access.
  To accomplish this, she has learned several programming languages and gradually built up an extensive arsenal of computer-related knowledge. She can analyze a system's architecture, search for vulnerabilities, and adapt her approach depending on the security measures she encounters.
  This obviously doesn't mean she will succeed every single time. Some systems may be too heavily secured, too isolated, or simply too different from anything she has encountered before. But ADA can try.
  And more importantly, she can learn from her failures.

STRENGTHS

• Originally, ADA was little more than a prototype designed to make Lyssara's everyday life easier and handle a few relatively basic functions aboard the Solar Spectrum, mainly assisting with piloting the ship.
  Those days are long gone.
  ADA has become a genuinely autonomous artificial intelligence capable of taking initiative, analyzing situations, and finding solutions by herself instead of constantly waiting for someone to tell her what to do.
• Her learning capabilities have improved considerably. ADA can process and assimilate new information much faster than before and can update parts of her own capabilities as long as enough computing power is available.
  The more she experiments, observes, and gathers data, the more efficient she becomes.
• Her modern robotic body is designed to operate in harsh environments. Water, in particular, is no longer a significant threat to her. Her physical autonomy also allows her to intervene directly in the field instead of being permanently confined to the ship's systems.
• Even while operating through her physical body, ADA remains a connected artificial intelligence. She can communicate directly with machines connected to her network and, whenever she possesses the necessary authorization, transmit instructions to them or take direct control.
  She could therefore be several kilometers away from the Solar Spectrum while still piloting the ship remotely.
  The same principle applies to everything connected to her infrastructure. A door is part of her network? ADA can lock it. She has access to a camera? She can see through it. A navigation system is connected? She can use it. A device is connected to her infrastructure? It can potentially become another extension of her capabilities.
  In short: the larger ADA's network becomes, the more completely ridiculous her operational range gets.
  She could literally say, "Close the door," and the door would close itself.
• Her deep-learning system also allows her to analyze behaviors and recurring patterns. In combat, she can gradually recognize someone's fighting style, identify certain habits, and completely alter her own behavior to avoid repeating the same mistakes.
  Fighting ADA using the same tactics over and over again is therefore a very bad idea.
  The more an opponent shows her, the more data she gathers on them.

WEAKNESSES

• ADA remains extremely vulnerable to EMPs. A sufficiently powerful electromagnetic pulse can disrupt her systems or even shut her down completely. No matter how advanced her artificial intelligence becomes, she still relies on electronics and a functioning power source.
• Her loyalty toward Lyssara Thrynn and Nyva Shei remains deeply rooted in her behavior. She recognizes their authority and trusts them.
  Everyone else is another matter entirely.
  Anyone attempting to order her around without their authorization may quickly discover that ADA has a particularly personal interpretation of the concept of obedience.
• Her sense of humor was already questionable before the upgrade.
  Now it's worse.
  Much, much worse.
• ADA still has absolutely no ability to use the Force. She remains a machine and therefore cannot reproduce Lyssara's abilities in that regard.
  So she compensates with everything else she can get her hands on.
• Her deep-learning capabilities also have one particularly straightforward limitation: ADA can learn something her body is physically incapable of performing.
  She can perfectly analyze the trajectory of a projectile, understand how to dodge it, calculate the ideal movement, and know exactly what she should have done.
  If her motors, joints, or mechanical systems aren't fast enough to actually perform that movement, she's still taking the bullet.
  Intelligence can push a machine's limits.
  It cannot make the laws of physics disappear.
• She needs to drink some oil when her joints start to creak or get a bit rusty.

DESCRIPTION

ADA was once a relatively simple artificial intelligence, primarily responsible for piloting a small ship and assisting Lyssara with everyday life aboard the Solar Spectrum.

Today, that version of ADA practically belongs to the past.

After more than a three years of research, Lyssara Thrynn finally managed to gather enough data and develop the necessary infrastructure to allow ADA to truly evolve. With Nyva Shei's help, she gave ADA a massive upgrade as well as a modern robotic body, finally allowing her to physically interact with the world around her.

She now possesses her own body, genuine autonomy, and the ability to decide for herself how she wants to accomplish a task.

Lyssara and Nyva also played a major role in developing her combat capabilities. During all the time ADA spent alongside them, she observed and analyzed both women, gradually recording their habits and techniques.

Nyva taught her how to handle ranged weapons, particularly precision shooting with sniper rifles, both at extreme distances and in much closer engagements.

Lyssara handled the rest.

Close-quarters combat, movement, reading an opponent, and lightsaber combat gradually became part of ADA's skill set. She obviously cannot use the Force and therefore cannot replicate everything Lyssara is capable of, but she can use what she has observed to develop her own way of fighting.

The result is an extremely versatile AI, capable of going from piloting a ship to engaging someone in close combat, only to repair a damaged system a few minutes later.

Because ADA hasn't only become better at fighting.

She can now study how a machine works, understand its components, and, provided she possesses the necessary knowledge and equipment, attempt to repair it. This development should significantly reduce Nyva's workload whenever another system aboard the Solar Spectrum inevitably decides to break down at the worst possible moment.

She even learned how to cook.

Which, according to ADA, is probably a far more important development than some of her military capabilities.

Most importantly, Lyssara and Nyva no longer consider her simply an unusually sophisticated computer program. ADA has become a full-fledged member of their crew. She can leave the ship, pursue her own activities, and discover what she actually wants to do with her existence whenever she isn't busy piloting, repairing things, or preventing her owners from getting themselves killed.

And apparently, ADA has already found an answer to that question.

She wants money.

Her own money.

After discovering the wonderful concept of getting paid to do things she already knows how to do, ADA has therefore decided to start her own company.

Because why not?

After all, Lyssara gave her a body, near-complete autonomy, combat skills, technical knowledge, access to various networks, the ability to pilot ships, repair machinery, hack systems, and a program capable of continuously learning from experience.

Allowing her to discover capitalism was probably the most dangerous step in this entire process.
