This was the situation. Marek Starchaser was one of the leaders of a Revolution that was going. Using the [member="Infected Drones"] system, Marek was able to get the information out to the beings he trusted, the ones who showed that they were willing to stand against the Empire. He was going to be waiting for the people, but he wasn’t waiting without action. Marek was going through the HoloNet and the DarkNet, looking for what signals were being sent, and tracking ship movements. When it came time, he would signal for another riot to start up while his team moved to the docks.

On the way to the docks, the team would meet with speeders, what was needed to collect the goods for trade as well as the weapons. And from there, the mission would take a bit of a turn, but that was not something he was worrying about. Getting the water, foodstuffs and medicine aboard the ships was priority number one. Avoiding the drones and the Empire’s agents, was secondary. Once the ships had taken off though, the revolutionaries were going to need to move, and move fast.

He looked over the gear they had, and the list of people he was tracking. The Drones would announce it to them, and people would continue to show up. But for now? Marek was going to fill the gathered in on the plan. “We are working on securing weapons to take our riots to the next level. What we need to do is get to the ships in the starport, there are several landing around the docks, and we have goods to trade. We will take the crates by speeder and rendezvous near the entrance of Ardonia. From there, we’ll regroup and meet with more of our people.

“Understood?” And with that, he’d give the order to get moving. The man who dreamed he was a casino owner looked at his partner in this, [member="Cryax Bane"] and nodded. Here went nothing.

Kalyn had just arrived at [member=marek starchaser]'s little meeting, she had brought her own ship, now with fresh randomized id tags courtesy of R7. A random drone, which sported the ancient, but symbolic starbird on its side had broken in to their little abandoned hangar, and blared something about this meeting at her, and the other woman, [member=nei laa]. Once Kalyn had arrived, she was in this sort of briefing room. After the briefing she walked up to the man in charge here.
"well sir, i could take more than a few crates, my ship used to be a smuggling vessel, and with an endless number of ID tags courtesy of my droid here, i could ferry stuff for you. Also if you need anyone killed, im your gal, i have multiple years experience," She said
Kalyn stood by waiting for a response.

She didn’t like flying. There was one thing she liked less than flying, and that was feeling like she didn’t belong. Kaia Starchaser knew her cousin was doing something serious, seriously stupid, and, well, he didn’t stop talking about it. This wasn’t really because he trusted her with the information, but because Kaia was very good at listening. Sure, in another world, maybe she was a bit more aloof, a lot less grounded, but here? She was afraid of flying, she didn’t like the whole concept of vacuum. What she did like, though, was the ground beneath her, and feeling like she was doing something right.

She didn’t hate the Empire, but… maybe there was something more. Maybe her cousin Marek knew what he was doing? He seemed to enjoy his lot in life, maybe she could learn from him. Maybe she should. So many questions, so little answers.

The girl had found her way to where Marek was waiting for people, and she was waiting, not a block away, and watching the door. Probably not the best thing to do, be sneaking around when clandestine meetings were occurring, but when the first people stepped out, she began to fall in with the group.

Nei was not happy. After being dragged from a pleasant shopping trip with her daughter, travelling across the Imperial Centre with her lunatic (and paranoid) doppelganger (who happened to have her name! Her name!) and being dragged to some secret meeting with a strange woman (and her doppelganger, still), all the while having to keep Mona in her sights lest these heathens corrupt her dear daughter's mind....well, one could say the Nautolan was really wishing she'd just gone to work.

Then again, maybe not. What little news she heard reported that the rebels had caused all sorts of riots. Nei just hoped Kif was alright, though he was no doubt going out of his mind with worry.

The woman rubbed her face for the twentieth time as she sat far enough from the individuals to not eavesdrop, but close enough to be seen. This was not how she wanted to spend her day, and if it weren't for that Laa woman assuming she'd do something dreadful (like reporting the lot, good riddance!) Nei would probably be home right now, safe and snug as the Empire obliterated Her enemies.

Mona, however, had gotten over the shock much quicker than her mother (as children were wont to do, even a 9-year-old) and was trying to see how far she could explore without her mother calling back to her. So when Nei buried her face in her hands again, Mona scurried over to a girl who'd struck her interest (Kaia) and tugged on her shirt.

"Hello!"

Nei Laa, meanwhile, was with Kalyn as the two women listened to the rebel leader outline his plan.

It was weird how quickly Nei had come to loathe the new galaxy, but she had a good reason for it: in her words, "it be too weird." I.e., not the organized chaos of the other world, where at least the unknowns were manageable. This place had oppressed order, and the Nautolan was more than happy to blow the top off.

"I not have a ship, but I be more than willing to pair up with her or do whatever else you be needing me to do." The armoured female looked back at the Colto woman. "What we do with my imposter? I not trust her. She stole my face."

This version of Marek Starchaser was a bit no-nonsense. He had a job to do, and he had to free the people of this Empire. He wasn’t sure if it would work, but he couldn’t just sit around and wait, and hope for the best, now could he? Nope. He had to get out there and change the story. This nation was not going to do what was needed for the greater good under the Empire. Someone needed to be the focus point, and that was part of what he was doing, being a lightning rod.

He looked to Kalyn and nodded. “We need to get the foodstuffs offworld, but we’re looking to move the weapons to our people. We’ll be meeting at the rendezvous.” Pipeworld, the Mining District, the revolutionaries were hiding underground, Marek’s idea, really. The man was good at one thing, universally, and that was networking. He might not be able to sell rubbers to a nun, but he’d come close. “Can you get the shipment closer so we can move it to the safe house?” This place would need to be abandoned. Would a ship draw unnecessary attention?

“Absolutely. If you two can work together, let's get moving. We’re going to need to move quickly. I can only buy us a little time, once we get to the docks, proper. We’ll throw a riot, see if we can get us some clarity, but if they don’t take the bait…” which they might not… “we’ll be running.” He looked to the others, people were to pair up, get to the speeders, switch the foodstuffs and water for weaponry and get moving to the mining district. Simple, clean.

Anyone could join.

Grabbing a stun baton and his datapad, Marek lead the way out of the building, people would have to integrate with the local populace properly, so as to not draw attention.

"Well.." He sat back down on the couch, gripping his chin while he thought. "The only thing I can think of, is just get more information. You're a sentient droid, better than anything I have heard of. Could you try to hack into any networks? Get anything important or useful? I can keep going out day by day and learn about things on the street and get inside information. Maybe you can also look into how we got here?" He sighed. "Sorry I'm putting a lot of stuff on you. It's just, you have a computer for a brain, and can think of things a whole lot faster than me. And you probably know more than I do about possibilities of our arrival... What do you think we should do [member="Ultimatum"] ?"

Ultimatum was not too surprised at being given such a workload as this. In truth he had had to do more in his own galaxy, but then he had had access to the HoloNet without having to upload himself and bypass systems. However he knew that it would require some work in order to attach himself properly.

"For starters I will need some time on a dataterminal here, to get into their version of the HoloNet and what not. I believe that we will need to try and find others like ourselves, if there are two us then there are likely more. If you can find them then perhaps we can better understand the situation. As for how we got here, I have no idea. It is possible that it was some sort of disturbance, however I know little in the sciences of the universe. There is no problem with the work, I can handle it once I have the HoloNet in my grasp."

Ultimatum was prepared for much, but he could not really act. He was trapped by the lack of weapons and path. He had to find a way and he would find one.

[member="A. Dominion"]

Dominion reached to the back of his waist, then pulled out a tablet. "Will this work? I picked it up at the barracks. I haven't had the time to look on it thoroughly." He held it out to [member="Ultimatum"] . "I'm pretty sure I have to get back on patrol. I don't them to know what has happened with their version of me. You ok by yourself?"

[member="Marek Starchaser"]

[member="Ultimatum"]

Ultimatum took the tablet and looked it over, he moved his fingers across it as he tried to navigate the computer's systems. "It will take time, but I think this will work." He spent another moment trying to locate some sort of connection. He would have to ascertain whether or not this little device could connect the HoloNet and then from there he would have to transfer coding from himself to the HoloNet to get him access. It was more complex than those few steps, but he believed he could handle it in less than an hour, perhaps even ten minutes if he found the HoloNet similar to their own.

He looked to [member="A. Dominion"] as he talked about leaving for patrol. "I should be able to handle myself. If your other self makes any trouble I will take care of him. Just don't get yourself killed on patrol alright." He wondered if the other of Dominion would become a problem. He doubted it, as long as the organic was trapped in the refresher it would be alright, unless of course he managed to find something to break his bonds. Ultimatum wondered if there was another version of himself here and what it would be like.

"A droid, worried about a fleshbag. I haven't heard of that before. Don't worry, I'm always careful." He said as he grabbed his helmet and put it on, walking out of the door. Time to get back out on the streets and walk around for a few hours before returning to the barracks. And that's just what he did. Was something going to happen while he was out on patrol?

Ultimatum nodded as he turned his attention back to the datapad. The information on it was astounding. There was not much, but he found enough to keep him busy for quite awhile. He had to focus on getting into the HoloNet first. He found it relatively quickly. It was now a matter of connecting himself to the Net. It was not a simple process.

At first he took the time to attach his mind to the datapad. Then he put his body in sleep mode as he turned his mind to the datapad. It was always more interesting in the computer realm. He traveled through the pathways set in the computers. He was capable of automatically translating everything he saw, even though he understood it all as it was. He was an AI produced with the same binary coding. He found the connection to the HoloNet with ten minutes. The next step was the copying of his own code into the HoloNet so that he could easily travel through that and look for what he wanted.

This was the most time consuming part. If he were to simply put his codes into the HoloNet it would be seen quickly and could be used to counter him. Instead he had to find hiding spots that could be connected by seemingly random computer decisions so that he could work without others finding it easily. It was an hour long process, but that was quick compared to what it could have been.

Marek Starchaser was getting this group ready, and By The Core was he going to get them moving. It wasn’t that far from the safe house, but he was needing the crew to move. Being one of the last ones out, he checked the location once more before dimming the lights, all the data was out of here, all that remained was ghosts.

He pointed for the Nei Laa pair and Skirata down towards the docks, the ships were going to be landing, he could hear them in the distance, the telltale sound of the freighters, and that familiar buzz in what that one elder called ‘the Force.’ The buzz of excitement.

“You guys go on ahead, I’ll be catching up.” He stepped inside, knocking over a canister of gas cylinders, only a few as he was needing them for the weapons as well. He took out a smoke from his breast pocket and put it between his lips. A lighter soon lit and he took a long drag before tossing the lighter on the ground, it remaining lit as blaster gas leaked into the room.

Shutting the door, he readjusted his bag and turned away.

As his work continued he found much interesting information. There were messages that led to a location. An area in which there was apparently some insurgency going on. He opened a comm to [member="A. Dominion"], hoping that his sensors had picked up the right frequency during their time so far. He recorded a message and sent it, planning on getting a message off to this rebellion as well, maybe they could be of assistance to their cause.

"This is Ultimatum. I think I found something interesting. I am digging into it now, though we might have to move locale."

He then turned his attention back to the HoloNet, flying over its twisted pathways and finding many things of little interest. He passed over much that might or might not have been helpful, but he returned to information on this Docklands. He tried to formulate a message when he felt another presence. It had to be another AI, of at least equal capacity to his own within the HoloNet. It didn't seem malignant like the one he had met once on Belsavis. He skirted around it as he sent a message to the area where he calculated the rebels might be.

"Hail Rebels. An associate and myself would like to further the cause. Possible meeting location?" He knew that it was probably far too forward to be accepted right off the bat. After surely the Empire would try the tactic of baiting meetings and capturing people. But there was little to lose in trying.

"Copy that," Nei told Marek, giving him a small, casual salute. As he walked off, she turned to Kalyn. "Give me one minute, I go get Colto woman. Meet you on the ship."

With that, the Nautolan spun around and stalked off to her double. "Alright, listen. I be taking you with me because I not trust you. Try anything funny--" She flashed the woman a cruel smile. "And you not be feeling very happy. After this be over, I turn you over to the big guys." And get the Colto woman out of her tresses.

Nei put her hands on her hips, waiting. "All clear?"

"Mona! Get over here!" Mona gave the girl a sheepish grin and scurried back to her mother.

"Mama, I wasn't doing anything wrong!"

"It's not you, darling," Nei said, feeling bad that she snapped at her. Taking her daughter into a hug, she added, "I just don't trust these people. They're clearly against the Emperor and his benevolence."

"But why, Mama?"

"I don't know, dear. I simply don't know." At the sound of boots growing closer, Nei looked up to see that Laa woman stalking over. Oh, great. What does she want?

After she finished speaking, Nei grumbled, "Yes, yes, fine. But would it really kill you to speak in proper Basic? You've butchered the language beyond recognition!" She shook her head. "Can you at least return Mona to our home, and let my husband know we're safe? He must be frantic by now."

Ultimatum waited for what felt like eternity, but was probably only minutes. He sometimes lost track of time when jumping between the computer realm and reality as organics called it. He checked for any response, but was not surprised when nothing was shown. He opened his comm again to [member="A. Dominion"]. "I may have a lead here. Rebel activity. Think you can meet me at Docklands?"

He kept an eye on the other message, seeing if any response would come of it, though he did not expect much. He began preparing to leave. Picking up the datapad and carrying it with him as he walked to the refresher door. He looked at it for a moment, studying its size and trying to figure out what he could do about it. He first opened it and stepped into the room. He put an extra comm on the ground near the door saying to the tied up occupant of the room. "If you are out within the next ten minutes wait for that time to expire before using this comm. It is rigged to blow if you try to use it before ten minutes. You can call the authorities to help you out." He had lied partially, the comm was normal and was not set to detonate or in any way cause any damage. It was just meant to give him time to get away. They couldn't leave the organic in the room forever after all, there was not much in the way of edible substances in there.

He stepped back out and closed the door. He looked over to one of the large and very heavy looking shelves. In a minute the shelf had been moved almost silently in front of the refresher door. Ultimatum finished with some touches to make it look normal and not out of place. If some came in to inspect the room Ultimatum did not want them immediately finding out.

[member="Other Nei Laa"] [member="Nei Laa"] [member="Marek Starchaser"]

Change locale? If it had to be done, it had to be done. But where could they go? These thoughts went through the agents head while he was on patrol. He didn't want any strange things coming in through his radio, and didn't deem the message worth a risk. But the next message, about rebels and meeting [member="Ultimatum"] there.. Well, time to start walking. he was going rogue enough as it was with his movements, if these suits truly were being tracked. Could he risk going to the docklands? He couldn't say anything over the radio, other Peacekeepers may show up and cause trouble for the rebels. Think...
Was the docklands their HQ? Would he be able to swing by another day? No, they may be gone and he may not get another chance. How could he contact Ultimatum... He hoped the droid knew Morse Code.

He clicked the button on his arm that would start sending a message to Ultimatum on and off, making a series of clicks or beeps on his end. If the droid could read it, it would read:

"en-route, not safe to contact back. You talk only. Give details before arrival?"

He made his way around a block of city before checking his map and heading the long way towards the docklands.

Ultimatum had heard the communication. At first he wondered if perhaps something had gone wrong with the connection and he began a diagnostic of his side of the comm system. It was a good minute before he realized that it was probably intentional. Then he went through a number of forms of communication that would use that kind of coding. It was another minute, over both of which he had been making his way to the destination he had figured was close to where the rebels would be meeting.

He found an old coding system that was more often used for playing around named Morse code. Very simplistic Ultimatum marveled at the fact that for awhile organics had used it as an actual encoding system. But then again that had been before droids had been made as intelligent as was common as they were now. He found that the system worked and he got an understandable and contextually correct message.

He opened comm again. "Understood. I will get you a plush toy and fries... Just kidding. I will see you there. There isn't much I can say for certain beyond the fact that some information well hidden points toward a Rebel meet there. I could tell you the areas in the Holonet in which I found these tidbits, but that matters little."
