Aces High

Things certainly appeared to be picking up, and already Wayde could see the room beginning to fill with every sort of person imaginable. He took a seat at one of the gambling tables, making a move away from the bar and discreetly brushing against someone. Apologising as he did so, he gently removed their chips from their pocket and proceeded to the table - after all, Gambling with one's own money was just boring. Taking his seat he ordered a round of drinks for his fellows, and took his cards.

A simple game a Pazaak it would seem. He placed his bet into the pot and watched his fellow players - all of whom doing their absolute best to conceal their expressions. Oh well, he mused, as he discreetly changed the number on one of his cards and concealed it back in his hand (the good grifter always carries the second deck after all). He hid a smirk has his odds of winning doubled thanks to his trickery, and waited for the next hand.

She gave a slight chuckle, "This eye patch is more than just show, its also a high quality custom scanner that feeds me real time confrontation to my brain implants and other devices", "Your attire, poise and over all speech pattern came back with high possibility that you were a Jedi, also... your old". She took another sip from her tease while [member="Tiland Kortun"] continued to talk.

"Who said I wanted to cultivate peace, I am a mercenary, I was raised in that life, war is what I know, and enjoy, what I am sad about is not having a proper home. Being a mercenary means you constantly travel, leaving from on place to another, not having much time to foster friend ship with other people". She stared down at her cup, looking in the reflection.

"A proper government to join, a place to stay, a hierarchy I can climb, and friends I meet". "I can handle people dying on the battle field, what I can't stand is those you know leaving without a word and never seeing them again, at lest when they die you know they are gone". "You do you and I'll do me, but we won't do each other, probably".
