Empires rise and fall, building momentum only to crash and burn when its leadership fails to keep order. That's what happened before, when Abraxas Colt was a boy. He watched as his father, an agent of the ISB, worked tirelessly to maintain structure and rigor among the Imperial remnants on Bastion. The loyalists kept the former capital safe, protected from the broken warlords who were champing at the bit to usurp the fallen Fel throne of the Empire. He grew up believing that the Empire lived on in the hearts of its people, and that one day, it would extend the tenets of order and justice to hundreds of worlds like Bastion.
SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE
Now, that is becoming reality manifest. Under the leadership of a new Emperor, Bastion is reclaiming it rightful place as the seat of the New Imperial Order.
Every Empire needs an army, and that's Abraxas' calling. Just like his father before him, Brax enlisted in the Imperial Youth Division. As a cadet, he showed remarkable talents for intelligence gathering and stealth tactics, but his drive for perfection habit of going solo during training simulations made him a poor candidate for the Stormtrooper Corps. The Imperial Army needs troopers who will fall in line, every time, but there are still places to serve for those with tenacity. Abraxas was vetted for the elite Storm Commandos.
He serves his Empire now from the shadows, stalking the NIO's enemies with the highest blessing of the Emperor.
