Dumb Question:

It brings up a small box which I am like straining to deal with the BBC code, double spacing and such.

Is this because of Chrome? Should I be using IE? Or is this just how that one box appears? Or am I missing a setting?

This sounds vaguely like a security setting where a box pops up asking you to confirm copy and pasting?
A screenshot would help [member="Aaralyn Deltain"] hard to ascertain what is exactly happening.

That's just how it is. Mine's identical. I would assume everyone else's is, too. The "about me" page is pretty useless anyway, considering this is an RP site. >.>;;

I enjoy reading the about me pages, it shows someone put thought in mapping a character out, keeping track.

Id suggest using an online code preview-er like this. http://www.neoshine.co.uk/mina/bbtest.php specifically for bbcode, there are also more for html etc.
