Description: The AB-1 fires plasmatic bolts from an energy cell that does not require replacement until after 250 shots. Unlike most other blasters, it doesn't require a charge pack. After seven shots the energy cell will need time to recharge before it can be fired again. Every two seconds enough energy has been rebuilt to fire a single shot. Requiring fourteen seconds to recharge fully. It is designed as a sidearm for the militant forces of the Silver Jedi Order, in the case that the primary weapon is unable to be used. The weapon is issued to officers of the military. The pistol is one of the Silver Order's most trusted combat handguns. It is very accurate up to it's maximum range, allowing for successful engagement at any range below 75 meters. The weapon itself also does considerable damage. Unfortunately unlike other weapons of todays market, the pistol lacks the ability to fire great distances with accuracy. The energy field that encases a blasters plasma is thin with the pistol, allowing for greater damage and accuracy in short distance, but at a greater distance this energy field weakens, forcing the plasma to expand before evaporating.
