Strengths:

• You can have whatever you like: willing, able, and adept at becoming what or whoever any given situation calls for. This versatility has allowed Ba’al to move comfortably through many many different rooms so to speak
• Pretty privilege: an attractive woman has certain advantages.

Weaknesses:

• Not a fighter. Cardio boxing amounts to the most experience Ba’la has with self defense.
• Sordid past. To hear what Ba’la has gone through in her past to end up where she is now would cause many to view her with distaste and distrust

HISTORICAL INFORMATIOn

Born U’alani on Devaron to a politician mother and doctor father, the woman now called Oraura was a sensation on the stage, getting her first big role at the tender age of six years, U’alani was a natural actor who at the age of thirteen won the highest award given to stage performers on Devaron. Her parents were incredibly proud of her success and talent and supported this choice of career fully.

So thorough was their support that they were taking little thirteen year old U’alani to Coruscant to audition when their transport was attacked by pirates. None survived except for U’alani who was sold into slavery.

For years she did what she had to to survive, tuning into her abilities as an actor and her keen sense of observation to become whatever it took to not only survive her time in slavery but often times getting what could be seen as preferential treatment from her owners, not that that made being a slave better but it certainly could make the days easier.

After a number of years U’alani now Ashera ended up on Denon in a hostel called Crimson Sunset for a few years until that building and much of its staff fell victim to a retaliatory attack by shady criminal syndicate The Family.

Once again U’alani’s life and name changed. Now going by Ba’la she was a free woman for the first time in over a decade, living on Coruscant, working for a rising spice deal out of his night club the Butter Scotch Rancor. She was free, she earned a living, and she was kept safe just by virtue of having her name attached to this man’s.

Until that man’s name no longer afforded protection and instead it came with a target. Her employer and protector had karked up his own life so utterly that hers was now in danger.

She was somewhere new again; Naboo. She was someone new again; Oraura. Naboo was not only new to her, it was a new version of itself, now a republic and she, A’alani, worked for a senator. For six months, give or take. He got rich and took a step down the social hierarchy to live in the comfort of a world he was familiar with. A’alani did not go backwards.

She stayed on Naboo, no need to run this time, many still knew her as Oraura but in other places she was Delia. Delia dealt in information. She’s putting as many ears in as many places as she can. There were precious few things as uniquely valuable as secrets, everyone had secrets, everyone wanted everyone else’s secrets. It was a renewable resource as A’alani was tapped in.
