Highly Modular: Able to be kitted out with a extremely broad number and variety of rails, attachments and scopes, including full replacements of the barrel, grip and stock, depending on the mission requirements or user preference, the Liberator is an immensely customizable weapon. Nakaioma Advanced Infantry Systems has taken the liberty of recommending a number of prebuilt variations of the rifle to the GADF in the event it is selected. These include the A480C, for CQC engagements, and the A480S for stealthy special forces operators.

Alliance Tested: Given to a number of GADF Army units for brief periods during field exercises and routine firearms training, the Liberator has been designed to ensure the Defense Force's transition to the weapon is as smooth as possible. Ergonomically built based on feedback from GADF infantrymen and officers, and based off of pre-existing weapons in the Army's arsenal, Nakaioma Defense Dynamics states that one of its top priorities when developing the rifle was making sure it did not require extensive retraining to become accustomed to. In this goal, they appear to have succeeded, as the Liberator has been described as 'so simple a child could use it.' (Disclaimer: Nakaioma does not endorse the use of child soldiers.)

Reach & Force: Compatible and modular with dozens of Nakaioma-brand and third party optical hardware and software, in addition to its inbuilt holographic scopes, the A480 Liberator can boast a strong degree of range. Not only that, but to any enemies of freedom and democracy unfortunate enough to be caught within the A480's range, its bolts will hurt, a lot. Thoroughly tested in a number of live fire exercises and real world situations, the Liberator's blaster bolts are rated to penetrate, or sufficiently damage a high array of civilian and military-grade body armors.

Neither Snow Nor Rain: Finesse and ingenuity are overrated. At the end of the day, all a grunt on the frontlines of the galaxy's latest war cares about is whether or not they can rely on their blaster to not jam when some maniac with a glowing red laser sword rushes their trench. The A480 does not jam. Engineered to be as simple and basic as a blaster rifle can be, a trooper would have to go out of their way to make their rifle non-functional. Field tested on thirty six planets across the Inner, Mid and Outer Rim with varying atmospheric and environmental conditions, and exposed to both extreme heat and extreme cold, the A480 can go through Hell and back and still fire reliably.

Lightweight: Developed by eggheads based on the feedback of jarheads, the Liberator's lightweight principle stems from both on the GADF's requirements as well as the historically factual consensus that infantrymen hate heavy weapons. Carrying a gun that makes you hate your life is for the squad machine gunner, not the rifleman. While not quite the lightest rifle on the market, the A480 sits below the Defense Force's weight maximum at around 7 pounds, and is lighter than the average rifle overall.

Rate of Fire: Not well suited for fully automatic fire or the more enthusiastic rifleman, the A480 is recommended to be used in either semi-automatic or three-round bursts. This is in part due to the simplified nature of the blaster's inner workings, and the strong focus on reliability limiting the rifle's top rate of fire, as the quicker it can blast, the greater the likelihood that something will go wrong becomes. Though this may not pose the largest problem in long range engagements, for close quarters, or scenarios where suppressing fire is required and there is no machine gunner available it might prove troublesome.

Master of None: Engineered to be an all-round adequate weapon, given that it is intended to be mass-manufactured and distributed to millions of combat troops across the galaxy, the Liberator could somewhat accurately be described as a 'jack of all trades' as while it does perform more or less every role to a decent or otherwise acceptable level, it does not notably excel in any field either. It could be argued that its range or stopping power are the exceptions to this, but even then, they are only slightly above the market-average. It is often said by veterans to those in the public who don't know better that 'military-grade' does not mean 'perfect.'

Humanoid Oriented: As a strong majority of the GADF's personnel are either human or near-human in regards to species demographics, the A480, like most other rifles before it, was designed to cater to humanoid ergonomics. Any species that does not have a five-digit humanoid hand, or near-human eyesight will struggle to use this weapon. Nakaioma Defense Dynamics recommends that the GADF procure specialized grips, stocks and scopes for their non-humanoid personnel.

Freedom, liberty, democracy. These are things the Galactic Alliance strives to defend at all costs. Nakaioma Defense Dynamics (a proud subsidiary of the NAKAIOMA Group) is honored to be given the opportunity to contribute to the protection of these most vital ideals. In a galaxy filled with evildoers who would seek to oppress trillions of sentient beings beneath their boot, those brave few who would take the oath to defend those who can't defend themselves must be given only the very-best of weapons. The Liberator is one such weapon. Developed by the scientists and engineers at Nakaioma Advanced Infantry Systems and manufactured by Nakaioma Weapons Manufacturing, the A480 has already contributed to the Alliance in the form of thousands of jobs across several planets in the Inner Rim and Core Worlds. Built with consultation from Fukashi Electric (a proud subsidiary of the NAKAIOMA Group) the Liberator is compatible with a plethora of Fukashi military-certified cybernetics, including optical implants, and via software updates, can work with third party products too.

At Nakaioma, we know that weapon procurement in the military industrial complex can be a difficult balancing act. We understand that the generals and politicians responsible for the greatest democracy in the galaxy have objectives and requirements they need to meet with what they approve for use in the armed forces. It is for this reason why, in addition to developing a truly remarkable piece of weaponry, we have also made a commitment to ensuring that only the finest Alliance-sourced materials are used in its creation, and that only citizens of Alliance member worlds are hired to work on its assembly lines. As part of our contract proposition, we extend an offer to the most patriotic senators and Defense Force representatives to work hand-in-hand with us in securing the future of our great nation's liberty by supporting the A480's adoption. Your homeworld's constituents would surely enjoy the jobs and financing brought to their communities, and appreciate the representative who brought them those benefits.
