Private A Wild Expedition

"Of course!" Gula yelled so annoyed at Jysell's stammering that he tugged her so she would shut up. "These Wookies are pretty hard to get because of the Silvers. I mean they employ Jedi to watch the border, they have a Starfighter squadron, and they now have a small but dedicated Clone Trooper corps that'll that will wreck you up the ass! I'm lucky to have one of the biggest supplies of Wookies in the Galaxy to the point where I don't need to go deep into Silver space to get more."

The Hutt sighed pushing Tess off of his precious abs. "Now and days going to Silver space is like trying to navigate through a mine field blindfolded without any limbs!"

The ship landed on Gula's spaceport while Gula looked at Jysell and Tess. "Come on!" He said. "I want you to now sit down and look very alluring while I show off my trophies! Do you understand?!"

Darlynn wondered how exactly she was supposed to keep up her dancing while she followed the Rattataki. But if Lichix was going to be angry about losing her slaves, then Gula would likely end up being equally angry. And that would just mean more bad times for Darlynn and the other two girls. She started to shuffle off towards Lichix' direction. It was very awkward looking, but it could pass for dance in the loosest of terms. When she was certain that she was far enough that Gula could not hear she gave a long sigh.

"How am I supposed to keep up this dancing and not be an impediment to your mission?" she asked Lichix in honest curiosity. She couldn't believe how eccentric Gula was with his commands. And this was only the first week. How bad would it get over time?

Jysell was finally released from the job of being Gula's barbell and Tess was pushed away from her job of oiling him up. Neither of them knew for sure that the ship had touched down. Neither of them had been on a ship so big and luxurious. The only space travel either of them had experienced was after being herded into the slave ship and flown from their home to Gula's base of operation. The women weren't sure that they would call this trip more pleasant, but it was more luxurious. And the bump of the ship touching ground was not a sure sign to either of them that it was time to move on.

Gula gave each of them a look and commanded them to sit and look 'alluring'. Jysell moved first she sat and tried to pose herself to meet the Hutt's demands. Tess was a little more hesitant trying to fit in on the platform where she wasn't getting in Jysell's way. She ended up trying to mimic the older woman's pose, but she was pushed back closer to Gula and ended up slightly leaning against him.

Lichix listened to the statement about how difficult Wookiees were to enslave. Seeing as how most of the galaxy now looked down on slavery that was probably the case for most species. Except maybe the ones that isolate themselves out on the outer rim and didn’t get any help from the major governments of the galaxy. Having a Wookiee slave was something to be proud of since the days of the Galactic Civil War.

Lichix wished that the Wookiee planet was closer to Rattatak. It would be nice to know all the defenses around her home planet. She knew she was going back some day. Possibly some day soon if she could build up enough traction with Gula to get a ship and come to an agreement with the Eternal Empire to make sure they don’t allow her to get rid of her father and then swoop in and take over the planet before the transfer of power could take place. But that was a far way from Kashyyyk.

With no further instructions for the Hutt, Lichix was on her way. The slave girl was just behind her trying to walk and dance at the same time. That was difficult for a trained dancer, for someone like Darlynn it was outright commercial. “You’re a distraction dear. We find who’s in charge down where we are going. You do your little dance, maybe since this guy doesn’t see so many women, especially if he’s looking over a group of Wooks, you give him a bit of a thrill. He lets slip where the relic is now and then you keep him busy while I go get it.”

"Don't worry trophy number one!" Gula said pressing a button enabling the throne to move. "Lichix uses slaves as shields all the time! Sometimes they live, sometimes they come back in tiny pieces. In this case! Injury or death will come out from Lichix's pay!"

The Hutt gave Lichix a wink while grabbing a blender that was placed next to his chair. "Seriously though, try to make sure my trophy is spotless while placing her in highly dangerous because. Lemme tell ya having her act all defiant is upfront to my ego. It shows me that I can't control my slaves! What if some rival notices that and tries to use that info to dissuade buyers?! I'll be the out business! I'll be ruined! I'll spiral in a depression so bad my abs will devolve into flabby mess!"

As soon as he mentioned his abs, Gula's face scrunched in worry. "NO! I can't let that happen!"

In his panic, Gula flailed his arms accidentally whacking Jysell in the back of the head causing her to fall down. "Oh man!" Gula said. "If I gotta calm down! I'm still badass!"

He tugged the chain forcing Jysell and Tess to come closer. "Tell me I'm a bad motherfucker!" He yelled spitting in their faces. "TELL ME!"

The Rattataki's response was not entirely comforting to Darlynn, but Gula's was even less so. She gave the enforcer a look of question. First she needed to remember evidentially that Gula had very good hearing or he had listening devices all around in his ship, which probably meant the same in his palace as well. Whatever happened from now until the relic was returned Darlynn was quite sure she was not going to like it.

"So do this dance thing," Darlynn said with a nod. "Make googly eyes at the hopefully lonely Wookiee keeper and hope no one shoots at me. I know my part of the plan. I guess the rest is up to you."

Jysell wasn't sure if she was happy or not when the Rattataki started to lead Darlynn away. Sure she liked that she would be the lead trophy with Darlynn gone. Tess would follow in line right now. She might be the young one, but Tess was out of her realm and just trying to stay in good graces. Making decisions would fall to Jysell for sure. However Jysell didn't want anything bad to happen to Darlynn despite their current little competition.

Jysell became worried when Darlynn's parting words upset the Hutt. Tess tensed as well as Gula yelled about being ruined and other ranting words the resulted in both slaves being pulled by the chain into his face. "You're a bad motherfucker Great Gula," Jysell belted out without even thinking.

"Y-yeah," Tess responded more tentative, not because she didn't think he was worthy of being called as he wished, but because she wasn't used to that sort of language. "You're a bad m-mother f-fucker. Lord Gula."

Lichix made her way out of Gula’s presence and out of the ship altogether to start her mission. She was glad that the other slaves and Gula’s other goons would have to deal with the tirade of what this little frontier slave did to him with a bad look, a sigh or a hint of disobedience. Not all people were ok being slaves. Eventually they all break. Darlynn would surely break whether Gula had the patience to do it or not was another question.

Once out of the ship, finding the coaxium mines was easy enough. “Do your little dance, bat your eyes and just keep him busy. Whatever it takes. This guy wants to see you twirl, you twirl. This guy wants to share a drink, you do it. This guy wants to share his life story, you pretend he’s the most interesting man in the galaxy. You got that?”

Lichix took Darlynn’s chain and wrapped it around her hand giving it a tug just for kicks. “As for the shooting. The Wookiees won’t have any blasters. So as long as you keep their overwatcher happy you won’t have to deal with any shooting.”

"Whew! Okay good!" Gula said yanking Tess' and Jysell's chain pulling them close to his abs. Gula needed constant reassurances to soothe his ego, it was a good thing his trophies picked that up.

"Now Tess!" Gula grabbed her hair pulling her next to Jysell. "What you said did not sound convincing, are you saying that I'm not a bad motherfucker?! That I'm some scared little worm huh?!"

He pushed her onto Jysell. "Now you have five seconds to say that I'm some bad motherfucker with some confidence! Otherwise, I'm gonna say that you're a spy who needs to be tortured!"

The throne exited the ship as Gula watched over the fumes of the Kessel mines. Many slaves were shacked against one another being dragged to the mines. "Ahhh don't you smell that?!" Gula said excitedly. "The sound of my spice being mined! It makes you want to go out there and do it yourselves right my trophies?!"

Jysell amd Tess both braced themselves putting their hands out on Gula toned abs. Jysell was relieved that Gula calmed down, but a moment later Gula was upset again about Tess not being as strong with her words. Jysell gave the younger woman a hard look and nodded for her to make Gula believe.

“But that language,” Tess questioned Jysell. The older woman gave Gula a worried look.

“You aren’t with Lad or your parents no more Tess,” Jysell pleaded with her. “You’re with Gula. You talk like Gula. That means talking more rough.”

Tess didn’t look happy but she nodded. “No Great Gula I don’t think you are a scared worm. I think you are a bad mother fucker.” It was much more convincing than the last time without any pauses.

Jysell looked out at the other slaves as they exited the ship. “I never knew spice had a smell. Are those the other slaves from Lothal?”

Lichix didn’t mind Gula the Hutt at all. He was a different personality, but that was just something you had to be used to. How he treated his slaves was comical at times, and best of all the Hutt appreciated Lichix’ value and paid her accordingly. Some of the other underworld high ups all tried to skimp on Lichix. Like she was a beggar looking for a hand out and they could pick and choose what they gave. Lichix was a warlady. Some in the Consortium might find that out someday, but Gula had earned Lichix’ loyalty, until she could take back Rattatak at least.

The Rattataki enforcer led Darlynn further into the coaxium mines on Kessel. It was a place Lichix would be happy to leave behind her, but not bad enough that it would impede her mission. The Sith relic would be an easy thing to find once they got close enough. It was calling out to her now. Lichix smirked. These Force-related missions were a bit easier for her than she let on. It was easy to hide her sensitivity from the Hutts. And she certainly didn’t feel the need to broadcast something that she wasn’t fully capable of using.

Deep inside the mines Lichix found the first sign of “life”. She waved for Darlynn to stop then turned and gave a smirk. “Keep up the dancing while I see what’s there.” The Rattataki moved forward and saw a lone guard. She was smiling even wider as she returned to Darlynn. “Found your lonely guard. Keep those hips swaying and go give him something to occupy his thoughts.”

Darlynn followed the Rattataki intot he gas mines as was ordered of her. Truth be told she was only more or less dancing as they walked. The enforcer's attention was rightfully on other things as they went deeper into the mines. When Lichix stopped Darlynn immediately began to sway her hips as if she had been doing this the whole entire time. It would have been a nightmare to do that while walking, but now that she was standing still dancing came easier. The slave waited nervously when Lichix went to investigate further.

Now she came to her part of the plan. It wasn't something that she was looking forward to, but Darlynn wasn't going to think about what would happen to her, Tess and Jysell if she failed to at least try. Lichix didn't seem like the type to show pity on her. The enforcer wouldn't cover for any failings. And Gula would punish them all for it. She gave a nod to Lichix and shimmied her way out into the next room where the guard stood. Darlynn almost tripped between the dancing and the small man standing next to a very big gun. Or very big to him. "Hello there. I'm uh. You're entertainment for the next little bit. The boys thought you would be lonely down here."

"Oh Leeka," Jurlus lamented seeing the white furred Ewok dancing around him babbling something in her language. He liked to think that Leeka was trying to put him under a curse. The Ewok's language was strangely similar to the Jawas to where Julrus theorized that Jawas were descendants of the Ewoks. Having lived in Tatooine for most of his life, Julrus grew up around Jawas their language was easy to learn as their words were a grammatical catastrophe. Phrases such as: Me like food, or: You big man with big gun were common whenever Julrus conversed withy the Jawas.

Which is why when Julrus got into the Ewok hunting business, it was easy to learn what the Ewok tribes were saying. It was how he was able to shock Leeka when Julrus mentioned that he knew her name. Leeka thought that by repeating her name, Julrus would think that she has gone mad or something but among the Ewoks, shouting their name loudly was a form of intimidation. The bomb strapped on Leeka's chest continued to beep, he felt half tempted to blow her up to quell the boredom that is watching the Wookie slaves work.

It was funny, one would think watching over Wookie slaves would be anything but boring, but Julrus was nicknamed: The Wookie Whisperer. It was pretty easy to have a Wookie submit. Threaten their family, remind them that there is no escape but threatening their family had a 99 percent chance of working. The Wookies value family among everything, killing Wookies to get them in line was ineffective they believe their spirits will live on through their descendants. It was best to deny that honor. Just then, a woman dressed in slave clothing came over towards Julrus dancing in front of him. She was easy on the eyes but she had a weathered, older look to her. "By the Force your dancing sucks!" Julrus spat while Leeka ran towards the woman dancing around her the bomb continuing to tick.

"The foreman had slave girls in his room all along eh?" Julrus said walking towards Darlynn. "And he bought down the worst one, at least he remembered me."

Julrus chuckled sitting on a boulder. "So who are you?" Julrus said grinning. "And what can you do for me?"

"You don't smell it?!" Gula said to Jysell as he looked over his mining operation many slaves haggard and hunched over began to venture deep into the dark caves. "It's that sulfury smell combined with the sweat of my hard work coming to fruition!"

There was a scream from the cave near where Gula was at. "For the love of-" Gula shook his head while the guards went inside to investigate. "That's probably the 4th death today! These slaves are useless, there's no passion for what they do!"

He then frowned at Jysell tugging her chain. "Why?!" He asked. "So you can plot a slave rebellion along with Tess huh?! Well guess what trophy!"

The Hutt pushed Jysell off the throne as she landed on the ground. "Why don't YOU venture in the cave to find out what happened to my slave?!" He roared.

Jysell smelled the nasty smell that Gula described. She didn't know that it was the smell of spice, and now she guessed it wasn't the smell of the spice itself, but of it being made. Hutts liked to profits that came from the spice after all not the high. The scream that came was awful. Jysell had to look down to avoid hopefully seeing what had happened. Gula was upset about the death. But not because of a loss of a slave, he already blamed them without knowing what had happened. Then he accused Jysell of wanting to start a mutiny. "No Great Gula. I would never think about starting a rebellion against you. Just was wondering who else got swooped up I guess." She looked to Tess concerned about who the younger woman might know out there now and what affect that might have on the crying situation that they endured earlier.

Tess for her part kept her eyes on the Hutt and what would make him happy enough to forget she was even there. She didn't want to see the other slaves. Certainly didn't want to hear them dying. She just wanted to keep moving. "You want me to get you news of the latest death? I can do that Gula. I will ask one of your men for a report."

"I'm new to dancing," Darlynn stated when the little man told her that she sucked at it. It was hard to argue and it wasn't like she even cared if she was good at it. If she was good what would that have gotten her in this exchange. "The foreman said you might get a kick out of it. Maybe he just hated my dancing so much that he wanted me someplace else. I am under orders to continue dancing at all times. Maybe they hope it will get better if I keep doing it." Darlynn gave a bit of a shrug.

"I'm just a slave. If you really care about my name it's Darlynn, but I don't expect you to know it." That was the truth of what she had learned so far. She was expected to respond to slave, girl, hey you anything that came from a non-slave's mouth. "As to what I can do for me I suppose that depends on how long til someone notices I'm missing and what you can do with me while I keep dancing."

Lichix closed her eyes and took several controlled breaths after sending the slave out as her diversion. The wookieekeeper probably wouldn’t be too impressed with Darlynn’s charms. Unless he was at the point where any woman would do. He was talking to an Ewok after all so maybe the fact that Darlynn wasn’t covered with fur would be enough to keep his attention for as long as Lichix needed.

But she didn’t take chances. During the breaths she called on the Force as she had been taught. Lichix was no Jedi nor a Sith, but she had rudimentary training from a being who wished she could be more than what a Rattataki was born to be. Lichix was never going to play the games of the Force. She was going to rule Rattatak. But if these little tricks kept her alive and kicking long enough to see her main goals through she’d sure as heck use them.

With the Force centered around her making her movements shadowed and silent, Lichix crept past Darlynn and the taskmaster. She wasn’t sure if she was talented enough to trick a mine full of wookiees. But the wookiees would be easier to convince to show her where her target was. There was no loyalty to the keepers by the wookiees. A simple lie of who she came for would get her what she needed; she was quite sure of that. And then she could tell them to wait until she was clear and then inform someone the relic was missing. No one that matters gets hurt in her plan.

"I can tell," Julus laughed nearly falling off the boulder while he witnessed Darlynn's "dancing." "I've seen drunken Jawas dance better than you girl!" Leeka began to stomp on Darlynn's feet for some reason. Yipping and howling at the slave while she jumped on her bare toes like a toddler trying to reach a piece of candy that was out of reach.

"The foreman has a fucked-up sense of humor, eh?" Julus asked shaking his head. "Why don't you shake those hips, Darlynn? I wanna recreate the time I've been with this hot Twileak slave girl. Great body and she had the widest hips I've ever seen. When she danced and swayed her hips wooo! I was impressed that's for sure!"

"Blah!" Gula snorted at Jysell. "Get your ass up here trophy, hearing you sniveling like that makes me want to rip your head from your neck." The Hutt decided now it was time to take action. He spent enough time sitting around like a typical fatass Hutt.

"Come on trophies!" Gula said yanking the girls from the throne. "I'm going to make sure that all sectors will be shut down the moment Lichix locates the thief."

Darlynn wasn't in the least affected by the insults of her dancing. It wasn't like she ever aspired to be a professional dancer, and even if she had strutting around shaking her hips for underworld low lives were not have been the form of dance she would have wanted. She was a little concerned about the Ewok jumping on her toes and started to try to avoid the attacks. "What does this thing want?" She had never seen an Ewok to know that was what was jumping on her.

The suggestion that Darlynn reminded Julus of a Twi'lek was flattering, however when he mentioned wide hips that made Darlynn huff. She was glad to be out of the sight of Gula so she was able to show a little displeasure. "So the moving of my hips reminds you of this Twi'lek? Or the size of them?"
