Private A Wild Expedition

Darlynn winced at being reminded of what she now was. Of course she didn't think this would last forever so she was certainly not going to forget where she came from and who she really was. When Therax figured out how to get her loose she wouldn't complain ever again about spending their lives on a simple farm. Jysell took the other response of course. Darlynn wasn't sure if that was just to make her voice heard or because she believed violence was the best threat to keep your things, or even if she just wanted to say something that was different from what Darlynn said. It didn't matter though. They were just slaves.

"If this humble trophy could offer an opinion," Darlynn started submitting to her new title. "Perhaps since this was found in a Spice mine and the Hutt you talk about handles spice they just thought it was theirs to begin with."

"Don't be stupid Darlynn," Jysell snapped into the discussion as she gave Tess a look and shut her eyes silently telling the girl to do the same as they got back to work. "That's not how the Hutt world is. You find something its yours. No one owns Kessel just because they have spice mines there. This other Hutt who's name shouldn't even be said just thought Gula was an easy mark. He didn't think that Gula would come after him because his daddy is a big shot. In that world Gula needs to strike back. Can't just take back what is his. He needs to set an example."

"It's both!" Gula growled. "Staking your claims on any of the Kessel mines is highly competitive and deadly. Gang wars among us Hutts were waged over small bits of land. Whoever controls the Spice Mines controls the Underworld."

It was next on Gula's list after taking over the slave rings, gain enough power to strongarm his way into the Spice business. He fought like hell just to get a fifth of the Spice mines on Kessel and that was through the slaves. "I will take back what's mine!" Gula said failing the chain around. "But I cannot hurt the son too much! That would be a tantamount to war. Which I do not want."

The Hutt smiled. "But bruising his ego would be just as good. Taking back the artifact would suffice but hurting him?!"

He yanked the chain bringing Jysell close to Gula. "Are you fucking kidding me?" Gula growled grabbing her cheeks. "Do you want to start a war?!"

Jysell over-reached. Neither of them knew what the Hutt world was about. They were daughters of farmers. All they knew was the frontier of Lothal and the holo-vids and novels they used to escape. Those weren't real. Darlynn knew that was the case so when she spoke she was cautious and leading. Let the Hutt make up his own mind, why make such outlandish remarks that put yourself in danger. Darlynn didn't enjoy seeing Jysell suffer at the hands of Gula. The red-head was trying too much too fast. Darlynn couldn't save her from herself.

Darlynn made a sour face as she rubbed harder into the Hutt's shoulder muscle. "Forgive your trophy," Darlynn whispered so that only Gula could hear. "She reads too many romance novels of dashing smugglers. She knows only the fictional world of the Hutts. She doesn't understand the true galaxy. You will have to teach her." This part was said loud enough for Jysell to hear and Tess to ignore and hopefully continue her work, avoiding any notice.

The Hutt was power hungry and aggressive and liked to show off. Jysell thought for sure that he would see her point of view as valued and the best. Darlynn was strong and brave, but she was always so cautious and willing to live with scraps when there was a place at the table to be had. Jysell was smiling as she rubbed the Hutt's abs. She was going to be the favorite trophy, and not for dubious reasons.

It was a shock when there was an angry tug at the chain and Jysell was pulled by the neck close to the Hutt. He was angry, with her. Why? She had given him the opinion he wanted. To take the fight to his rivals. That was the Hutt way wasn't it? That's what always ended up getting them in trouble and pushing themselves too far so the smuggler could figure a way out and deal the crushing blow to the Hutt empire. Jysell was having difficulty figuring out what had happened. She heard the concern in Gula's voice concerning war and then the excuse Darlynn gave for her. Were the holos and novels wrong about the Hutts' world?

"I am sorry Great Gula," Jysell said closing her eyes and sighing hoping that she hadn't done too much damage. "I have much to learn. I will be your silent trophy if that is what you wish. I'm yours to command."

Gula stared at Darlynn and then at Jysell whom he still held by the cheeks. If there was one thing that he enjoyed more than anything was breaking slaves and turning them into submissive trophies. Darlynn and especially Jysell were starting to learn their place as trophies and what they should say or not. However, why end the fun so early? Let them unknowingly trip up and fail that way Gula could continue to break them. He was making a lot of progress with the girls so why not?

Gula smiled letting go of Jysells cheek and pushing her onto the throne. “No,”Gula said to Jysell. “I was just….. shocked that some one would be so bold into stealing from me. My property that I marked and people would try to use that opportunity to steal for me.”

The Hutt sighed patting Tess’ head while she continued to rub his abs. “It is my wish for my trophies to be obedient,” he said. “To know their place but I do enjoy some advice from time to time.”

Darlynn sighed in relief, almost loud enough that the Hutt could hear. Getting away with that she quickly turned her focus to the muscles of Gula's far shoulder. Now she stood almost completely behind Gula. Though Darlynn was upset with Jysell for trying to make her own way in this situation instead of standing together, she didn't want anything bad to happen to her. Well maybe a little extra slime in Jysell's precious red hair wouldn't have been something Darlynn would be upset about, but nothing serious. If they ever got time somewhat alone there would be a lecture, though to be honest Darlynn wasn't totally sure she should be the leader of the trio anyways.

"That is very gracious of you Lord Gula," Darlynn answered with a grunt as she found a knot in this shoulder that would not come out easily. She pushed hard on the area hoping that if she could succeed he would be in a better mood despite recent happenings. She gave another grunt of effort. Darlynn had worked on Therax' tired muscles many times. Never had she dealt with a knot this size. Even if the knot had been normal this experience was not going to be as good as with her husband. She certainly hoped this didn't end up with the same extra activities.

Jysell was quite grateful when Gula released her cheeks and pushed her back to the throne where she had been working on oiling up his abs. Tess had her eyes closed and was continuing her work. Tess must have worked harder to avoid hearing whatever was taking place with the others after Jysell had been yanked up and away from their shared duty. The abs appeared done. Tess was still rubbing oil, but they were glistening already. The younger woman closed her eyes tightly when the Hutt placed a hand on her head. She was desperately hoping their would be a shower in their future.

Jysell wasn't sure what to do now. "Thank you Great Gula. I will try to remember obedience first and advice second. Now it appears I could use some advice. Tess is doing well on her own. How can I best serve you Great Gula?"

The throne gotten closer to the starship while Gula gave a gasp when Darlynn attempted to massage the knot. "I do like your style though Jysell," Gula said while he wrapped an arm around Tess' slender shoulders forcing her to his oiled chest. "Attack! That's the way I like it! It's just that you need to make sure to understand the intricacies of Hutt culture! But still!"

Gula increased his grip around Tess while he laughed. "To wipe them out! A pretty badass thing! I like badass Jysell! But don't worry when you mess up! You'll know!"

The Hutt began to chuckle at Jysell. "Now that I'm all oiled up Jysell, gimmie a dance I'm starting to become relaxed!"

"Lord Gula!" One of the men came from the ramp Gula's Starship. "Coordinates are set to Kessel!"

"Excellent!" Gula said slapping Tess behind the back. "With the tears you're producing," Gula said holding Tess close to his face. "You'll make a fine employee from Starry Brewery. They make the brew from their slaves tears and you know I'm thinking of selling you to one of their facilities considering that you keep crying."

Gula praised Jysell's approach that much was not a big surprise. Hutts were bold. They liked bold thinking. But they were slaves. Bold thinking would end up getting them killed. Darlynn remained silent working on the knot in Gula's shoulder until the Hutt said something to Tess about selling her off so that someone could make a drink out of her tears. What did he expect when a young naïve girl was taken from all she ever knew in life.

Darlynn peered out from behind and locked eyes with Tess who luckily had looked up with a scared expression when Gula said he would sell her. Darlynn gave her a confident nod hoping she would realize what was needed. Darlynn smiled when she did. "I-I am s-sorry Lord Gula," Tess started trying to control her sobs. "I will get better. And look. Your abs are glistening like the bright moon on Lothal."

Jysell smiled that she hadn't done completely wrong in her advise. She had the right idea if not for this particular situation. Gula was badass. But he was still building his power. There was a balance required. Jysell would need to find a balance between bold and obedient as well. It will be hard for her. She has always been in control of her life. An only child her parents let her do as she wished. They weren't happy about her not taking a husband, but they didn't fight her that hard about it. Jysell was always the boss. Not anymore.

Hearing the order to give Gula a dance Jysell nodded, "Of course Great Gula," she said with as much a smile as she could muster. Then she thought of all the holovids she had watched over the years and what dance would make the Hutt happy. She started as best she could into a more risqué number from a suspense vid she had watched not long ago. The femme fatale in the vid preformed a dance for her target. Jysell hoped it would help her cause with Gula, even though she wasn't as good at it as Kandra Starflare

“Only babies cry,” Gula said still placing Tess’ head between his bicep. “I won’t tolerate babies as my trophies damn it! I couldn’t stand the last batch of slaves I rounded up from the outer rim. They couldn’t stop whining and moaning. I spaced one of them to shut them up. It’s a waste of good cargo but whatever, they were pretty silent from here on out.”

Gula watched jysell continue to dance in a sloppy but alluring manner. “Good!” Gula said. “A little rough around the edges but we’re getting there Jysell!”

The throne entered the starship as Gulas men immediately bowed to the Hutt. “Yes, yes bow to your masters.” Gula said smiling when Darlynn continued to massage his shoulder. “Yeah baby,” Gula said. “Keep massaging shoulder it got messed up in my last work out.”

He was into the massaging that he instinctively yanked the chain forcing Jysell on her knees. “More,” Gula yanked harder.

Tess sobbed but she gritted her teeth and nodded. "I can stop crying Great Gula. I will be a good trophy," she added fear in her eyes. The thought of being dragged away from Darlynn and Jysell at this point was more than she could bare and stopped the flow of tears almost immediately. Darlynn felt bad for the girl, but there wasn't much to do about it now. Just hope they would have time to cry on their own later.

Darlynn ground down her teeth as she massaged harder on the knot in Gula's shoulder. She imagined that the strength of a wookiee would be required to completely work it out, but Gula seemed to be content with what she was doing. That made Darlynn double her efforts. The shoulder was better than just about any other part of Gula and better than trying to remember a dance that would keep him entertained.

Jysell was glad that Tess had stopped crying. She found the young girl annoying at times when they were at home, but now as many people of comfort as possible was ideal. There was no way Jysell would want to see Tess shipped off somewhere else. For herself as much as for Tess. Gula praised Jysell's dancing, at least a little bit. Well maybe it was better just to say he was happy with her. She was trying to be sexy, but she never practiced any such things on the dirty men of Lothal. She wanted the skies and they never were offered to her. So she hadn't learned how to be flirty or seductive. The only place she had seen those things were in novels and vids.

Before she could get too comfortable in her dance routine however Gula gave the chain a tug in response to Darlynn's rubbing. Jysell was tugged down to her knees in front of Hutt. She tried to keep up the "sexy" gyrations, but it was even less appealing now and she started to cough as a second tug came tightening the strap across her throat. "Great Gula. You are hurting me," she complained in a tone that was more informative than accusatory. Gula could hurt her if he wanted. But it would be hard for her to continue dancing if he did.

“Uhhh no I’m not!” Gula said to Jysell as the throne landed in the middle of the main deck. “Pain is your mind Jysell!” He said tugging Jysell. “Keep dancing I didn’t tell you to stop!”

He turned his gaze to Tess. “Okay good!” Gula said. “You can continue to sob if you want! But sooner or later you’re going to have to accept the fact that you have a better fate by my side than the ass end of LMAO or Lotal or whatever!”

Gula sighed. “I have some of the whiniest slaves ever,” he said to Darlynn. “Do all people from Lothal whine this much?”

Tess slowly started to control her sobbing. Even though Gula said it was acceptable she knew that it would lead to more crying and she didn't want to risk being sold off to someone else and separated from Darlynn and Jysell. She was not able to answer the statement that followed, but she was beginning to calm down now.

Darlynn was seconds away from having to bite her tongue at the way Gula was speaking. She wished that she had a way to fight against Gula. But if that was the case she probably wouldn't have ended up here to begin with. "It depends where on Lothal you go Great Gula. You raided a small farming community. Most of the people there don't know anything but that life. If you were sent to work a farm without your consent you might be a bit upset as well. We are whining. But it is because we are adjusting. In time I think you'll find us quite hardy and pleasurable."

Pain in her head? Jysell knew there was also a pain in her neck and that was literal not a euphemism for the Hutt holding the chain. The redheaded woman desperately wanted to cry at this point. But she had just heard Gula threaten to sell Tess off for just that offense. Jysell took in a deep breath and tried her best to forget the pain. At least there was no longer more pressure on her neck as the Hutt eased up on the chain.

Then he commanded her to dance. Taking in a deep breath Jysell stood once again. And she let it out equally as long in order to remember the moves she was trying to perform. Slowly she started to move her hips and arms again. Again it was not the prettiest thing in the galaxy, but she was trying. Trying her best.

"Whining?!" Gula tugged Darlynn close to him. "You admit that you ALL ARE WHINING?!" The Hutt grabbed Darlynn's hair yanking her head back while he glared at her.

"When you're my property," Gula said in a cold tone. "The first rule is to never whine. Ohhh Lord Gula you're hurting me! Ohhh Lord Gula we are whining. I do NOT like that word. I do not like the way it sounds, if there's a word that I want to strike from the dictionary it is whining. If I meet the guy who invented the word whine, I would choke him to death!"

He pushed Darlynn next to Jysell who was continuing to dance. "Now my mood is ruined!" Gula whined. "Go dance with Jysell for me will ya?!"

Darlynn yelped when Gula grabbed her hair and pulled her around. She was caught completely off-guard assuming she was out of his reach. That would be the last time she underestimated the Hutt's flexibility. Before she could do anything in reaction to the rant Gula pushed Darlynn to Jysell's side. The brunette barely able to avoid crashing into the redhead as she continued her dance. A dance that Darlynn did not know and couldn't hope to duplicate.

"We are sorry Lord Gula," Darlynn said with a bow of her head. "We will be your best trophies and won't...do or use that word ever again." She bowed again and started swaying with no real direction. She tried to imagine music to move along with but it was very hard and at this point she was making Jysell look very good.

Jysell couldn't help but smirk at Darlynn finally getting a bit of abuse. The irony was that she got it trying to make excuses for Jysell and Tess. Darlynn was always the strong one. Jysell was the dreamer with the pretty red hair and Tess was the pretty young thing that all the men watched until the day of her wedding. Now they all had to be strong. What would that make Darlynn of the three of them? Tess would still be the youngest. Jysell would still have the pretty red hair. Darlynn couldn't be the strong one anymore because they all needed to be that. Jysell had to smile at the thought of Darlynn just being there.
