A wedding to Remember (Open to all)

Location: Some obscure outer rim world....
Time: Mid afternoon

(This man is odd, so playlist here)

James had been called to sort out a living nightmare: a wedding. The spacer himself was not one for this sort of thing. He had lived almost all of his life as the definition of a stag--and a heartbreaker. However, when Barnaby von GobChop had offered unbelievably massive amounts of money to help oversee it, and for his company to haul in the loads of food--well, money talked.

Now the pavilion and dancing square that had been set up on the lawn was finally complete. The Alura Traveling Circus had arrive and was here to do their thing--perform and make the night memorable.

The ceremony had been blissfully short, though eccentric. James didn't know if it was stranger that the officiator had been lowered from the cleiling--or that he had wed them to the sound of a rap album. James shrugged, what did you expect? He was a rap artist after all--which was even stranger because he was an Ithorian. He actually was surprised that a being could speak that fast. But having more than one throat could come in handy like that, James guessed.

As the performers and the guests made their way here, James treated himself to one of the strong drinks that were on the serving table---one of many, just like the drinks. It was just about time to take a load off and relax. He gratefully lit a cigarette and began to wreath the air in his smoke. Not too far away the sound system began pumping wild music out. Certainly not what you would expect at a wedding, but the expressed wishes of Barnaby von GobChob. James shook his head again. This man was a strange one, that was for sure.

This she usually didn't like however she dressed for the occasion and the occasion called fore such

Sighing as she walked through the place getting looks and whispers as she found James and stood bybhim as she had a drink in hand"remind me whybwe are here? "She asked as she looked around, however she wasn't unarmed as she had her sith blade sheathed and on her side though it only added to her looks

For every era and calling, there is a code. Some swear by the Seventy Maxims of Maximally Effective Mercenaries. Others, the Rules of Acquisition or of Gibbs. One man follows the Pirate's Code; another cleaves unto the Evil Overlord List. But of all these, none can provide a maxim of such objective truth as this:

Never make your wedding open to the public.

The ceremony had ended, barely, when Oren arrived with his entourage. He'd opted for a hooded cloak over his armour; the others wore helmeted beskar'gam painted with Dathomiri and Vahla runes.

"Anyone have eyes on the bride?" Oren hissed. The new Mrs. von GobChob had gone through a dozen previous names and twice that many felony convictions. Enough to warrant a full squad from Clan Rekali.

"Got her," said one, voice tinny through her helmet. "Two o'clock."

Oren nodded. "Thanks. Let's do this quick. Security already knows we're here, if they're any good." A twist of the Force amplified his voice until it boomed through the Ithorian rap. "Beverly von GobChob, you are bound by law."

At which point someone behind him launched a stun grenade at the bride.

(its gades, but i got a better char for this which will make it more interesting.)
HARDLINE did not bother with a holoprojector today, he was a friend of the groom, he was a close financial associate of LONGBOW. HARDLINE did have the courtesy to wear a suit though, though most of the time he could have cared less. He did not care about drawing attention today, nobody knew his true purpose, could also be a good scouting mission, for more agents. Then somone launched a stun grenade. Being a droid they were useless. HARDLINE was not dealing with this feth right now, and calculating the trajectory in which the grenade came from, he detected who launched it. The large droid ran at high speed to that area, extending his arm blades (yes he has those) he was ready for a fight, he was not dealing with this today.

Captain Keeli

Captain Keeli, back from the dead.
Keeli didn't normally attend weddings, but this wasn't any ordinary wedding. This was the wedding of [member="James Justice"]. Keeli wore his best suit, and a blue and red polka dot bow tie, just to spice things up.

I'm so happy for James and Sasha, I wish them the best.

Keeli walked into the wedding and took his seat. This was going to be a day to remember.

Rose had been hanging around the wedding just because she was asked to come usually she wouldn't but this time she agreed to attend it. Rose had arrived to the wedding wearing a new dress that she had made for this wedding. Rose had been drinking more then usual today and walked over to star handing her a drink then having a small conversation with her before she started to walk towards another group raising her glass. Rose then out of no were did a a back flip in front of the bride then doing another backflip kicking the stun grenade it's the air high above them and exploding. As the grenade exploded about ten people around the bride in different groups pulled out Tenloss EQM1-LMG "Equalizer" Squad Automatic Weapon And started to lay fire from were the grenade came from. While rose arms opened and put her sabers into her hand and activating. "Rage squad get air visual of who's attacking!" AS she said that you could head Heavy ships flying towards the "Party". Rose then looked at the bride and said stay by me ma'am ill protect you. Rose then found the position the attacker can from and had troops run to it fully armed.

Stretching out to the Force, the old Knight got a sense of what was on its way. One melee combatant moving to engage -- [member="H.A.R.D.L.I.N.E"] -- and another protecting the bride -- [member="Rose Blade"]. Ten bodyguards with serious firepower. "Split," Oren snapped, and the Rekali commandos Force-leaped or engaged jetpacks, whatever was easiest. Their Mandalorian armour and shields absorbed the bulk of the fire that struck them, though he heard a grunt of pain. The Clan Rekali forces were heavily armored and wore basic personal shields, but concentrated fire from Tenloss squad automatic blasters would cause serious trouble if the commandos stopped moving. The bodyguards' massed fire chewed into the guests; instant bloodbath. So much for doing this cleanly. Mandalorian armour worn by trained Force-sensitives offered a host of options. Sonic screamers broke eardrums, stun grenades dropped guests and guards alike, Force whirlwinds battered defenders and threw off their aim, and those tasty Tenloss weapons found themselves twisting from the hands that held them. Maybe the defenders could hold on, maybe not, but aiming straight had just stopped being an option.

Oren took a long step to the left, putting HARDLINE between him and the bulk of the oncoming fire. Oren's black sword batted away a couple of shots that came too close, and a pair of shots ricocheted off his beskar armour, warming him at shoulder and elbow. Ideally, a metric fethton of blaster shots would hit HARDLINE in the back during his headlong charge; the defenders clearly weren't coordinating. As HARDLINE bore down on Oren, the old blademaster flicked out his free hand, aiming to throw him straight at Rose Blade. In theory, a tangle of melee weapons would put both of them down and give Oren time to run at them.

The sounds of incoming ships were just as much from Rekali forces as from Rose Blade's.

An inconspicuous figure stood at the buffet table. For all intents and purposes it looked like she was admiring the little, baby tree sitting in a pot next to the table, while eating a little piece of cake, but the truth was far more sinister. The truth was that she had added a few vials of flashy pink liquid in the pot just a few minutes ago.

The truth was... that she was currently studying the effects of her little concoction. Trying to figure out if she had mixed it in the right percentages and all that.

In the meanwhile behind her all hell broke loose. Gunfire, sword clashes, freaking whirlwinds being thrown about. Instinctively she crouched to the ground, still munching on her cake while studying the tree. Oh yes. It was going somewhere alright. Plus, the cake wasn't so bad, really.

The vines started to grow. Little saplings appeared around the base of the tree, rooting out of the fresh earth.

James was pissed. He slammed the glass down on the table, splashing its contents onto the surface and spider-glass fracturing it. He grabbed the whole bottle of ale itself and began storming towards the conflict. He hated needless violence. Granted, Rose Blade was only doing her job, and he was ok with that. However, there was no need to turn this union into a massacre, which was what it had already become. Barnaby von GobChob, the groom, was already fleeing past James in the opposite direction, towards the safety network of escapes James had set up before hand. The man had paid him twelve million credits to set this up--and frankly James would make sure the chef made it out alive, at least.

One of the assailants tried to leap over James, but the spacer would not hear of it. He grabbed the man's heel with his free hand. The extra weight threw his balance and focus off just enough to make him come careening face first onto the stone slab. The head hit the ground with a sickening crunch, James could tell he was out cold. That was fine with him. The space was not interested in pawns, he was a businessman and a commander. He delt with leaders not minions.

"Tell the rest of the fleet to stand by," James shouted over his shoulder to @Stardust. "Get em ready but dun't fire yet."

He stormed up to the man in black. His fury was palpitate in the Force, electrifying the air around him. It was no drunken rage nor was it the furry of a barbaric soldier. This was the anger of a man who knew how to use raw emotion and was unafraid to. He came toe to toe with the apparent leader of his opposition. James' eyes glared into his with furry, unflinching and fire roaring inside. He commanded attention, even from those caught in the fray of combat, practically halting everything where it was. If his Force signature wasn't enough, then the fact that the mic amplified every word he screamed out, did.

"What in the bloody hells do you you think your doing?" James roared, "get the feth off this yard immediately I tell ye, this is no fething battle ground, ye get the hells out of here. This be a wedding, a ceremony of matrimony between the premiere chef of the Outer Rim and his long-standing girl friend," He jabbed his free arm away to the horizon, pointing, "Take ye murderers and take ye war-mongering, and get the feth out of here. This is a place of peace and a place of worship. And don't ye dare come back."

Unbeknownst to everyone else, in approximately 10 seconds t1 special forces, courtesy of longbow, would storm this place, to supplement [member=rose blade]'s forces against the Rekali forces. An advantage of being a droid was that he could communicate without speaking over a commlink and such.
"5 seconds" Hardline said mentally over the commlink. He had already marked friendliest and foes for his forces, Hardline continued fighting
2.... 1..... As the clock bells rang, multiple operatives burst through the skylight, Windows, doors atleast 25 highly trained heavily armed men funneled in, with more on the way if need be it. As this happened the firefight took a temporary pause.
"Now sir, I highly suggest you limit bloodshead by surrendering" Hardline said to [member=oren beorn]
One of the operatives passed hardline a blaster, if it had to come to it there would be a fight, hardline hoped it did not have to come to that.

[member="H.A.R.D.L.I.N.E"] had apparently missed the part where he'd been the target of a Force-throw in the direction of [member="Rose Blade"]. As the wedding's defenders stopped firing, however, Oren raised a hand and the flying Mandalorians likewise stopped firing their uniformly nonlethal weaponry. The screams of the dying bore testament to the high-powered blaster weapons that the defenders had used. Oren stood there as [member="James Justice"] ranted in his face. Behind him, the shielded and helmeted Mando that Justice had yanked from the air got up, pretty much unharmed. It took a bit more than that kind of impact to put down someone with that sort of protection. That crunch had been the floor.

"Point one," the ageing Dark Knight said evenly. "My men are using nonlethal weaponry. Yours aren't. Every serious injury and death so far is on you. Point two. The bride is wanted dead or alive under at least three names. Thank you for the breathing room, by the way. Monologues are my very favorite thing." His eyes flicked sideways. The bride's neck snapped.

"Point three," said Oren to Justice, as if he hadn't just executed the mark. "Get a refund on your accent, you bloviating karkwit."

Rose was ready to attack this guy at a moment notice until a robot was "thrown" at her she did a back flip catching the robot in mid air kicking him somewhere else as all forces to a halt then they guy stared to speak to James but she was reading his lips looked like the guy was giving him a lecture. In the back of her head she said. "At least someone's willing to put him in his place." but she had forgotten that she was still linked with star. As she turned around looking down at what as left of the bride she gave of a smirkish smile. She then waved for her group troop to tend to what they could find of what was left of the guests. Rose turned around and started to walk towards a drop ship laughing a little when the warrior had told James to go get a refund on his accent. As the ship started to take off she pulled out a rectangle type of thing and only a sew seconds later [member="Oren Beorn"] had receiver notifications about the money transfer. It's couldn't be traced to rose doing it but the timing was hell of a good one. As the troopers were certain that there was no hope of saving the victims and they all got onto drop ships that pilled onto cruisers. All the ships had cut off communications before they entered hyperspace going to who knows.
