A Trap on Bakura

Under a hail of blaster fire, Dominik fell back. Julian rushed forward to see his body slap against the pavement below. He watched him for a moment, the authorities closing in as he committed to a surrender. They could deal with him now, Julian had to make a mad dash. He activated his beacon. He turned on his heel and activated his jetpack, sending forth a short burst of flame that projected him from one building to another, repeating the process as he closed in on the spaceport.

This chapter of life was almost done, he thought to himself, thank goodness. The night was crawling forward, stars began to appear in the darkened sky above, twinkling and whispering. It had been a long and successful day, and he couldn't deny his opponents finesse. He had served nobly in his duty, but you couldn't win every day. Julian knew that best.

He was closing in on the spaceport, it's domed surface was spotted by circular quays where ships waited in docking. His jetpack burst to life again, launching him over the dome and into one of the quays. He landed with a stumble and a stagger, trying to regain his breath. The quay was empty, it had been evacuated when the shootout had started just a street over.

He looked up into the night. The stars were numberless, but one in question was getting brighter. It was rather two stars, brighter and brighter it got, until the light illuminated Julian like a bright sun. He heard engines, and a shuttle came to land. It's lights flickered and vanished, and the rear ramp began to lower. Julian approached the shuttle and entered. "This is Solo," Julian said through the intercom to Ghorua, it would blast throughout the ships speakers, "Bodyguard has been eliminated. I'll be arriving shortly."

Ghorua felt the girl's rib crack under his boot. Good, that means she probably won't be too much trouble.

Hoisting the senator's bag over his shoulder, he turned to the door. Looking back over his shoulder, he spoke into the comms. "Pilot, let me out, please." Then, to the senator, "However big and scary your friends are, Senator, I'm bigger and scarier." The door slid open, and the Herglic quickly stepped through it, the doors hissing shut behind him again.

Locking the door, Ghorua took off his helmet, revealing a round, sweaty face, with a grim expression. He put the helmet under his massive arm, and sheathed his knife. Hopefully, the senator wouldn't be too much trouble for a while, at least. The comms on the ship hummed to life. Solo's voice echoed in his ears. Moving to the terminal, Ghorua pressed the comms button. "'bout time. We're almost to the prison ship. I'm almost afraid to say this, but I think we're gonna get payed."

Finding a bench nearby, Ghorua began to sort through the Lady's stuff. A bag of tea leaves. Ghorua would have to make some later, he could use a refresher. A blaster pistol, which the Herglic Hunter expected. So I didn't kick her for nothing then, he thought to himself. Pulling out a few miscellaneous items, he noticed something gleaming in the very bottom. Picking it up, a large, almost child-like grin began to insert itself upon his face. Gripping the lightsaber up in his gigantic hand, he examined it. Today was just getting better and better.

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Kay just narrowed her eyes at [member="Ghorua the Fish"] as he left. Then she closed them, balling her hands into fists as she hit one onto the ground in frustration. How did this happen? How was she caught so easily? Of course she knew the answer as to how she was on board of this ship instead of fleeing into the forest outside of the city. It was the stupid razer net!!

Carefully she brought her knees up so that she was laying in the fetal position, ever mindful of her broken rib. She needed to fix that. The message from the other bounty hunter came over the comms. Oh great. Ghorua's response gave her a sinking feeling in the pit of ger stomach as well. Was [member="Dominik Borra"] dead?

Kay closed her eyes, no longer caring about keeping her Force use a secret as she needed to heal herself. She tapped into it and slowly began the process of fusing the bone back together. The swelling tissues she'd deal with later. In her weakened state it would be a longer process anyways and she'd rather be able to breathe properly.

A prison ship. That wasn't going to give her very good odds. But there was always a chance that they could let her go. Maybe.
