A Templars Invitation

Salina Aviner

Seeing is believing, but one must see first.
The shuttle to Honoghr had landed. Everyone who'd intended to come left, which surprisingly wasn't that many. Among the few who'd exited was a dark dressed woman with a staff in her hand extended out as she used it to walk. She wore her hood over her head as she took in the atmosphere of the planet. It felt rich and yet uneasy. There was something wrong with the planet, or possibly the people. It wasn't clear. Salina, finally reaching the end of the landing platform, sat and waited for someone, possibly the one who'd asked her to come, to arrive and see exactly what she'd been called for. The first time she'd met @[member="Circe Savan"] was quick and brief, which was understandable given what she'd read of her past and how the republic had orders to kill her at first sight. No wonder she was in such a hurry the first time they met. Still Salina was patient and simply stood waiting for guidance on where to go next.

Honoghr had been a world of wreckage, and for the most part, still was. Remains of the Separatist and Republic fleets still stood static over the system, and it was a very dark place for many people. The ecological damage had, for the most part, been cleared up, though. That was always a good thing. And evidently, the fortune teller was coming to meet her here, while she was in the middle of a brand new salvage operation. This time, bigger ships were getting removed - Lucrehulks, a couple Tectors, some Separatist Cruisers, Munificents, and even a Providence-class destroyer were among the wreckage, though most would need significant repair.

Salina would find Circe giving a soft smile to her as she exited her shuttle. She herself was about to take a craft up to the salvage site, and was happy to let this young woman join her.

"Hey, Salina! Nice to have you around again!"

Hearing her first Salina looked, seeing the aura of Circe. She smiled as she walked over, making sure not to hit her with her amphistaff as she did, before standing a foot in front of her and giving a slight bow. "So nice to see you again, @[member="Circe Savan"]." She said. When she rose Salina continued with "Now that I actually know your name...and reputation, I can greet you as any simple traveler should." She was silent for a moment before saying "You're wary from this odd ordeal you face. The plants have become too much and now you seek my help. Why, I wonder."

"Well, being in Republic space really does worry me. Particularly when a Jedi who now has access to a way of seeing through my disguise is in the area. You probably spoke with him too..." She sighed, curious as to how she could use Salina's foresight to assist her. "The planet in question is a world in the Unknown Regions, a place called Serpena. It's rich in minerals... but rapid plant growth of an unnatural type makes the world exceptionally difficult to harvest resources from. I know your foresight is legitimate, but is there a way, just maybe, that you could focus backwards, into the past so we could find the ultimate cause of this situation?"

It was a sincere plea. Circe had no knowledge of the terraforming computer which caused these issues, after all.

Hearing the tone of voice Circe gave Salina, looking in her direction, nodded before staring out into nothing. Her pale blues eyes almost seemed to focus on something before she finally said "I can see a machine. It's main purpose was terraforming. But something went wrong.....the machine became....confused in a way. Terraforming was not enough for it. Its mind has become lost with only one motive: grow, expand, cultivate." She looked back towards Circe and said "That is your answer. You'll need to destroy the machine in order to stop the plants. But I fear it may be more difficult than it sounds. It will likely protect itself." She was silent for a moment, as if contemplating something, before finally saying "If you wish it, I shall assist."

"I would greatly appreciate having you on my team for this. There's a planet I want you to meet a shuttle of mine on in a couple of days. There'll be another woman there named @[member="Ventasia Terana"]. You two will be taken to my planet, Serpena, where the three of us can deal with the terraforming computer and finally stop the unnecessary expenditure of power and resources on repulsors and force fields."

Gently, she shook hands with the blind woman before turning to depart. Soon, they would be meeting up to... get to the root of the problem.

With a hand shake finished Salina nodded and said "I understand. Until we meet then, Miss Savan." She waited to be escorted back to the shuttle before doing so. Once she was on she had a seat at a window. Much to Circe's surprise Salina actually seemed to look at her before smiling and waving right before the shuttle took off. Soon they would meet again, and when they did they would put an end to whatever great travesty befell the planet of Serpena.
