A Summoning

Planet: Coruscant
Location: One Sith Academy

Deep in the living quarters of the One Sith's Academy, was Ballen-Ist's room. It was the room he had been given as an Acolyte, nothing fancy. Even though he was at Knight level, the boy did not get whatever special privileges might've been offered after attaining such a rank. Sliding his palm over the wall console, the young pureblood's shoulders would roll, shrugging as he thought over his situation. Stepping forward, the teenager would walk through the doorway, waving his hand through the way as he entered the long corridors of the academy. Leaning against the tall walls, Ballen-Ist's mind would begin to clear, before using it's sensing capabilities to seek out [member="Malphas"]' force signature. Using the force, the Knight would begin to send telepathic images directly into the boy's mind, ones that would direct him to the area in which he waited.

Strangely enough, the Knight was not seen in his usual attire, his black cloak seeming to have gone missing. Now visible at his waist, was the long sheathed blade that was attached to his belt, along with two other metallic sabers that hung freely. In his right hand, was a moderately sized bag, which contained some sort of object. Upon sensing his apprentice, the seventeen year old would kick off from the wall, approaching him casually. "Greetings, apprentice."

When he began to receive the images he left the library and started to head towards the location that he had been told to head to. It was annoying to continue to get these images, soon, when he was strong enough, he was going to make sure that he found a way to block out these annoying and infiltrating thoughts that gave him direction.

One day, he would block out all that annoyed him.

And then destroy it.

Until then, he would have to be content with his growing power.

"Greetings, Master." He said when he arrived, and waited for him to say something. He saw the back in his hand, but he didn't ask what it was for.

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

A large grin would spread across the Knight's face as he watched his apprentice draw near. A new found sense of pride and anger emanated off of the other pureblood, drawing the uniformed boy's interest greatly. He had been keeping a keen eye on his apprentice, though there was an extent to his vision's reach. "I see you've been exploring, adapting to your new lifestyle perhaps?" The seventeen year old would question, beginning to walk closer to the Acolyte. Reaching for his waist, the gloved hand of Ballen-Ist would wrap around a single handle that hung from his belt, pulling the weapon from it's restraints shortly after. Tossing the shoto blade into the air and catching it once, the Knight would present it to the boy. "A prize I claimed from a Jedi. I've replaced the blue crystal, it is fitting of someone such as yourself." He spoke, eyeing his apprentice's reactions.

"I figured you would need a real weapon, if you wanted to go out to the lower levels." He stated, returning his hands grasp to the bag he still held. Lifting it, he would withdraw a few credit chips, ones that equaled out to one hundred thousand. "A small amount should suffice for now." He stated to [member="Malphas"], aiming to hand the currency to his apprentice.

He nodded his head when his Master spoke about his explorations through the lower levels, and when he had been given the shoto's hilt, his face lit up, but his helmet still concealed his face, but his eyes were message enough. He would have pressed the weapon's ignition immediately, but it was better if he didn't, he was only an apprentice with a live weapon, he would have to train with it.

When he had received the credits, he looked into the bag and blinked several times while he looked at all of the credits, and credit chits. "Thank you, Master. Tell me what you require!" He exclaimed like an excited child. And in some ways, he was, it was a few months over the three years they had been a duo, and Malphas figured he must have proved himself.

Or he was just old enough to carry a weapon other than a durasteel sword.

"You are eager. Good." Ballen-ist would state, backing away as his arms lifted to fold over his chest. Jerking his head to the side, the young Knight would motion for his apprentice follow, his sheathe hitting the side of his leg as he began to walk in the opposite direction. "There are many tasks I could ask you to complete. However, remember that you serve the One Sith." The teenager would say, continuing his stride until they exited the living quarters, into the main halls. "You have much potential, your training is far from complete however." He stated, a serious look plastered across his face. The two would walk through the main room, into the training hallways until they reached a familiar door.

Upon entering, the boy would find that it was the room they had first met in, not the one with the training droids. They would enter, Ballen-Ist's form stopping as he reached the middle of the room. "Do you think you have proved yourself?" The Knight would speak, addressing [member='Malphas']

He nodded his head when he followed his Master to where he directed, and soon they were within the very first room they had ever met. It was the room where Malphas had encountered one of the first Sith Knights within the One Sith. He could only wonder as to what he wanted by asking him this question.

I have improved myself quite quickly, I have put down rivals quietly, I have become more powerful than I was three years ago. I am older. I am no longer Malphas, the Charcoal One. I am Acarus.

Despite all of his thoughts, he said, "no." He felt as if he knew what was coming. He felt there was a trap coming, where if he accepted he would be forced to duel his Master and at that point he would lose and be told that he wasn't ready for whatever he was asking for.

"What are you asking me this for?"

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

The grin that had appeared on the Knight's face would become present once more, as he watched and listened to his apprentice's reaction. He could feel it to, the caution that [member="Malphas"] had used amused the pureblood. "You anticipate my actions, well done." The Knight would state simply, his arm moving to beckon the Acolyte forward with a finger. "I'm sure you've gotten used to the basics of telekinesis. I'll teach you a technique, called force speed." Pointing towards the entrance, Ballen-Ist would begin to trace it's wall with his hand, turning to point at all four before speaking. "You will run around this entire room, without passing out." He stated, a stern look across his face. "Focus your mind, concentration and feel the force energy within and around you. Once more, you must harness it, direct it to your legs insteads of your entire body." He explained, hoping his apprentice would be successful.

He already knew how to utilize Force speed, but he wasn't going to complain. At that point, he had placed the shoto hilt onto his belt, and placed the bag of credits on the table, and then began to run around the room, letting the Force push him to even greater speeds as he continued.

It was something that he had done constantly upon Tantorus, they had learned to fight for themselves and to better themselves with the Force there, and his parents had even underhandedly paid off a Kissai Priest to teach Malphas advanced lessons within the Force, but he wasn't going to say that, but he continued to run anyway, moving steadily faster after every few minutes.

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

"Good." Ballen-Ist would state, watching his apprentice's run lead him back to where he had started. "Your next task will be to jump across the room, wall to wall." He would command, looking around the entire room. It was large, mostly in width. Turning his attention to the table and chair that sat off in the distance, Ballen-Ist's arm would lift, pointing directly at the two objects. Using only a brief moment to focus, the young Knight would utilize his advanced telekinesis abilities, causing the force energy around the table to envelop it's form, lifting it up into the air quite quickly. With a flick of his wrist, the table would come flying towards the duo, stopping immediately in front of them, having been placed in the middle of the room. It was a large table, completely metallic too. "Then you will continue to hone your telekinesis. Stronger telekinesis means stronger pushes and pulls. Eventually, I will instruct you how to choke individuals with the force, if you haven't already figured it out." He would state, stepping away from his apprentice.

"Get to it."

[member="Malphas"]

He was strong physically, he had always been like that, he figured leaping the distances would be done easily. To start out, he had gone the length of the room, and walked to where he was going to start and when the Force came to his legs leapt directly into the air, only reaching the pinnacle of his height when he started to reach the table and landed perfectly along the other wall. Once that was done Malphas walked towards the other wall, width to width, and just from that, he knew it was going to be a lot more difficult.

However, he was still ready.

The Force came to him, and he swung his right leg forwards, letting it propel himself to a higher and further distance when the Force pushed him even further and he flipped for a greater height and distance, and with open eyes he saw how close he was getting, and then he opened his arms to slow his speed and just barely avoided crashing against the wall as he turned in mid-air and slid down the wall on his back.

Once that was done, he inclined his head to his Master to show that he was done and he gathered the Force to him. He barely practiced upon telekinesis these days, he had been more or less out on Coruscant gathering people to his cause in the future when he had determined that it was time for him to become his family's company owner. When that day came, he may let his Master, Ballen-Ist know, or he wouldn't.

He still remembered that promise he made to himself three years ago when the Sith Knight had interrupted his concentration as he lead into Controlled Rage. And with that memory being summoned, the Force came to him and he lifted up his hand to the table, and gripped it. It barely started to move when the Force wrapped it, but then he lifted up his other hand and gathered the chair to place it onto the table, and with both hands he began to lift the table, just for show, his right hand no longer holding the chair atop it and it was simply balancing upon it; alone.

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

"Your telekinesis is sloppy." The Knight would state, beginning to walk away from the Acolyte as he concentrated on the table nearby. Ballen-Ist would walk towards the door, standing quietly as he watched his Acolyte practice. [member="Malphas"] had come a long way from the first meeting he had had with the Acolyte, that was no doubt. He could clearly sense the anger that was building up in the boy, surely it was all directed at Ballen-Ist's self. It was good, for his passionate emotions would lead him to strength. "Keep practicing, until you can move that table and chair freely around your body." He ordered, supervising the training. It might've seemed repetitive, but it was training nonetheless. Having superior prowess in telekinesis was an extreme advantage in battles, one that Ballen-Ist had used many times over.

"Remember, there is no limit what you can do with the force. Soon, that chair and table will be people floating through your will."

He let the rage that he felt for the Sith Knight manifest, and his grip upon the table became tighter, and then it started to rise above their heads at an increasing rate. [member="Ballen-Ist"] was predictable in his training regimes, but he was persistent in the actual training part of it.

Past training and current training was what he focused upon, and then lowering his right hand, and then moving his left hand from side to side, he began to move the table and the chair balancing upon it wherever his hand moved, albeit the movement being slow.

"Good." Ballen-Ist would say, watching as the table and chair floated into the air. [member="Malphas"]' had a grip on most of the basic techniques, though the young Knight was not exactly sure as to what he knew altogether. "I want you to repeat this training session at least three times a week." Ballen-Ist would keep his glare on the young pureblood, feeling the hate that consumed his entire being.

Waving his hand downwards through the air, Ballen-Ist's own telekinesis would kick in, using the force energy around the table and chair in order to send them crashing to the ground around the apprentice. Stepping forward quickly, he would look at the pureblood, before opening his mouth, "I can teach you techniques, but you must make sure you hone them while I'm away." He spoke, before once more speaking, "I can teach you Juyo, but that will be it for today."

"I'll practice it everyday." It was a promise. The Sith was going to make sure he practiced all the time. He couldn't afford to be left behind his peers, or even let his master advance too quickly. He needed him for now, but when he was stronger he knew that he'd require nothing from him, and would most probably push his barely formed plans to kill Ballen.

"Teach me what you will." It was funny. Sith trained to overcome their rivals and everyone else around them. But training apprentices taught them everything that the Master knew, it created a stalemate or an advantage for the apprentice. It was odd to say the least, but it was necessary.

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

Ballen-Ist paused, beginning to think for only a brief moment. Turning away from the Acolyte, the Knight would begin to walk towards the door, his arm lifting to swipe through the air. Upon doing so, the door would open quickly, shooting to the side as his figure made it through it's frame. "Never mind. I have nothing more to teach you." He would state, leaving the pureblood known as [member="Malphas"] on his own.

When his Master left the room suddenly after declining, he frowned and then he soon became angry, and without realizing it the Dark Side consumed him in a moment and his fists clenched, and there was a shattering sound as the chair upon the table was reduced to simple splinters and the table was made into the same pile. Just a little bigger, and he stopped as he looked at what he had just done.

It wasn't something that he had known he could do, but the Dark Side of the Force. He could only imagine what he'd be doing with the Kissai Priests upon Tantorus if the One Sith's Force had come to the planet and engaged in negotiations with his King, Arcis.

"I'll kill him." He muttered to himself and he left moments later after taking his bag.
