Carnage. That was the only word that could describe the calamity about to occur on Paecia. In the middle of a seemingly regular day at the Paecian royal court while the White Empress was busy conducting her usual affairs of state, the unthinkable was about to occur. A large Paecian war fleet comprised of various former New Order warships, reinforced by a pair of massive Lucrehulk-class carriers, came out of hyperspace above the planetary orbit. This was not some ordinary ''training operation'' like regular occurrence on Paecia, but rather a great betrayal from the Empress's own court.
The Count had long plotted this day for some time, making the necessary agreements, plotting with high ranking Imperial military officials which had been secretly loyal to him and appropriately building up the Paecian military for this very operation. The fleet began raining landing craft, shuttles and bomber squadrons down towards the vulnerable planet below. How could they prepare for an attack from their very own armed forces, after all? Bomber squadrons and several Star Destroyers soon soared in the skies above the capital, raining death and destruction upon the few loyal military emplacements scattered about the city, while the landing craft began to arrive, releasing the squads of Paecian Stormtroopers and swarms of the Count's own battle droid army onto the streets and plazas of the grand city. The battle of Paecia had begun in full force....
