A Story of a Fire Soul and a Black Ice Heart

Once upon a time in the neutral desert of Korriban, Alexia decided she needed a meditative purge. Her life had been thrown into chaos with coming back from her self-exile, but she found life mostly dull. Cameron's work kept him to himself, and she had to accept that Cosette was going to become one with the Sith despite Alexia believing she wasn't ready.

It was a lot to get out.

Although many Sith identified with Korriban, Alexia found peace being lost with the souls of those of darkness who had died before. Packing enough rations and water for a couple days, warm clothing for the freezing nights and light clothing for the hot days, and a single blanket, she set out many hours into the direction of the rising sun until she felt she could be alone.

Alexia laid out the blanket, and set her supplies off to the side before removing her boots and kneeling on her padded surface. As long as the sun rose, animals would be less likely to attack. If she chose to stay at night, her lightsaber would be close enough. Closing her eyes, Alexia reached out with the Force and sought out the comforting murmur of the ghostly cries of the dead.

Lexa frantically tried to take the fire around her and bondit to her own Inner Flame, but the flames were growing too rapidly. The shuttle was going down, and fast. She should have known that the mercenaries would follow her. When they shot at the cockpit and killed the pilot, Lexa had no choice but tot ry and get the ship to the nearest planet: Korriban. She used the Force to hold her breath from the smoke as she jabbed buttons and tried to steer the shuttle into a less lethal crashing position. She was through the atmosphere now. As the sun wa setting on Korriban, so was Lexa's shuttle about to crash into oblivion. She did the only thing she could. She managed to steer the flaming shuttle toward the desert before the manual controls burned out. As the sadedgroundx grew closer, Lexa closed her eyes, and shifted into her Fire Form. It was the only way she would make it out of this alive.

A screaming disturbance in the Force roused Alexia from her meditations. Her eyes snapped open in time to see a small shuttle streaking across the sky. It was malfunctioning, she could feel it from here. It was coming in too fast and it was too hot.

She didn't hesitate. Alexia reached deep within herself, energies restored from hours of silent meditation, and took command of the Force. She wrapped it around the shuttle and used her might to slow the speed of the craft. There wasn't enough time to stop it completely, but when it landed, there was much less damage than there would have been had she not intervened by far. But her curiosity was, forgive the pun, sparked by a lack of bodily life form. Indeed, there seemed to be a heat source radiating from the source of the life form.

Alexia moved toward the ship, cautiously. Waiting for something to happen. Would it explode? Would someone come out, someone she could not sense as an organic form?

As the shuttle came down, Lexa was surprised to feel it slowing down a bit, almost as if it was being purposely stopped. This sudden thought accidentally made her shift out of her Fire Form. Two seconds later, the shuttle hit the ground. Lexa was thrown into the ceiling from the jolt of the crash, hitting her head very hard. She wasn't completely unconscious, but that wouldn't be the case for long. She slowly dragged herself to the back of the shuttle with her head throbbing and her vision blurring and darkening. Her limbs felt like deadweight as she moved to the landing door. Though she tried as hard as she could, however, the door was stuck shut. Now, the smoke was beginning to suffocate her. Lexa began coughing badly, helplessly banging on the door. With every last ounce of her will, she collected her thoughts and her consciousness. She sent a single, powerful blast of Force power and fire at the door that trembled through her body. It was enough to blow the door off of the flaming shuttle. With all of her strength gone, Lexa passed out.
