Lilythe dropped to her knees and looked about at the victor.

"You win this time but we will fight again with renewed vigor!"

She loudly declared,

Refusing to look scared.

She smirked up at him as the blood loss caught up with her.

He was valuable opponent with many lessons to offer.

She'd learn from this battle and strive to better.

She'd study his movements right down to the letter.

She saw her vision grow foggy,

And her mind get rather groggy.

She fought back the darkness and struggled to her feet,

Turning and disappearing down the street.

I watched her go and I watched her leave.

A small test of skill and a test of to see.

Still, she had to think, she had to believe,

That she had a chance quite obviously.

And here I was, bloody but living.

I hoped she could say the same.

Just not that she was winning.

Might want to hurry before your chances become too lame.

With that last thought, I turned on my heel.

Things to do and places to be.

Not to mention to be rid of the great pain that I must feel.

Now that my contract was done there best be some song steel under my present tree.
