"Hmm hard to say." She said it and the prospect of more war never appealed to her.. it was one of the other reasons you could sleep.. most ended after a few years which could be just a shutting of the eyes if you were skilled enough. She remained there and looked. "Survival in a fight can be hard enough, factor in a surprise, in the unexpected, in the impersonal nature of a planetary attack force. He could survive the most dangerous duel and still end up gunned down from a stray blaster shot that just struck him in a moment of fatigue." She said it and there was always the risk. "But I should say he will be fine sirely... but I don't know and if I upset you... I literally will likely live longer then your anger."

She calmly did her best to listen to what Tricia was saying. Jax would likely survive this invasion, but could just as easily die from a stray blast. It was true even if Jairdain didn't want to admit it.

"He won't die. Not this time. Another time, maybe, but not today."

Running a hand absentmindedly across her still flat stomach, she was still in the early stages of her pregnancy. Only a few people knew, and she hadn't told her brother yet.

"I'm not angry at you."

"Yet, most do either through action or just time. This one jedi master resented that I he had watched me sleep in the temple and yet he grew old... another one she was annoyed with what could happen if I had a nightmare she called it or didn't control myself." She said it and looked at the skies. "Vulps might have been upset with me a little when I sneezed and his favorite ship ah crashed into a moon." She said it while floating there in the air, the battle would rage for a time and flicker away... win or lose things would change and come back around eventually. "If you need to, I am certain there is a fast ship you could get there and try to retrieve him."

"Well, situations can certainly be annoying, but I rarely let that get to me."

When she mentioned there might be a ship fast enough to save her husband, she hesitated slightly. Waving away the suggestion, Jairdain shook her head.

"He knows I won't save him this time. If he dies, well, I'll be a widow and single mother again. Won't be the first time for either."

Wrapping her arms around herself, though, she didn't like the thought and wasn't looking forward to burying another husband.

That was certainly a view one could have. She looked at the woman and shrugged. "I am not sure if you are upset with him and leaving him to his fate or if you are pragmatic knowing that there is not likely a chance to get there fast enough to effect the outcome." She said it while she hovered there allowing herself to remain. "We'll see there is no doubt Vulpesen will have news, or his children will say something." Her interest was there but it was more fleeting... war was alwaays around the corner somewhere.. she saw the possibility of it now as a risk to more lives depending on the outcome. The danger to civilians was more and more the closer you got to the core.
