A Shadow in the Night

The lights brightened the environment and Ultimatum returned to standard sight while moving to @WD-334. The Dark Troopers were impressive to behold. These were of a different variant than those he had discovered before. These were more intimidating perhaps, but they were similar to WD Ultimatum was certain that they would be good allies for the larger droid to have.

"Well worth the search indeed. Perhaps we should have them moved to a more secure location before activation. Perhaps take a look at their programming as well so that we have some idea of how they will respond." Ultimatum was trying to be as careful as possible with the potentially dangerous units. This was an element he had little control over and caution was the best defense against possible dangers.

WD-334 walked about, inspecting each Dark Trooper. It seemed they weren't activated by being too close, so no security programs installed. [member="Ultimatum"] had a good idea, but WD did not wish to awaken them. Not before making edits of it's own to the code. "I wish to change their code." They would make an excellent front line force, but he also wanted to give them some kind of free will. "We shall take them outside, perhaps back to the fleet." That would be a safe place, under heavy surveillance. Besides, there was only twenty or so, no match for the combined might of the Metal Lords if things went south. But WD wanted them in it's army, so it would want to avoid damaging them as much as possible. It was a risk that the war droid that it could take.

"A sound strategy. I will send a message to the droids to come and pick us up here." The fleet would be a far more secure environment definitely, not as precarious as the station inside a volcano. The fleet would also have more sophisticated equipment, Ultimatum didn't fancy the idea of trying to dig through the ancient droids' coding on the antiquated terminals in the building. The artificial lord assumed that he would be required to prepare the adjustment procedures that [member="WD-334"] wished to preform. He did not know WD's programming competency and was thus under the belief that his own services would yet be required.

"I shall return shortly." He stated matter-of-factually as the smaller droid paced out the room and back towards the entrance. Another inconvenience of being inside a metal filled volcano, terrible reception. If he could step out into the chasm area then it would improve enough for him to get a signal to the men to come and pick them up. At this point, time was a commodity that Ultimatum wanted to avoid wasting. He still feared the appearance of some Order forces.
