A Romantic Weekend

Jakkor had decided that after sometime he and his Wife should have some time off together. He had dragged her off to a surprise trip, for which he didn't say a word about. He made sure the girls were looked after by there droid,and so was sure that nothing out of the ordinary should happen. Besides he could tell that lately VIktoria was being miserable and had a clue that it was him. He couldn't even remember the last time he treated her like he used too when they first started their relationship and at times it seemed like there love life was practically dead.

He felt horrible for this so he planned a weekend just the two of them to the coastal areas of Naboo. He wanted to see her smile again and so he was willing to spend the credits and time from his work and Jedi Training for her. Sure she kept asking questions but all the while on the trip to hyperspace,he hadn't said a word and he wasn't going to now.

Viktoria had been told the night before to pack up her stuff. She wasn't told why and frankly, she was very confused, but she did anyway and they left for someplace the next morning. Jakkor had assigned their droid to watch over the girls while they were away. Their droid was very trustworthy as they had left him with the girls before and did a wonderful job. Their droid was definitely a big help with Viktoria. They had him around to help with Lilla when they first got her and then he also helped take care of the twins which was a great relief for her.

Honestly, the droid had been a much better help lately with Jakkor being busy with work on the farm and other things he's had to attend to. So taking care of the girls plus training them, putting dinner on the table, finishing Jakkor's training, keeping the house clean, which the droid helped out with as well, then making sure their droid is in good working order, etc, etc. She had lists and lists of things that she did and her and Jakkor rarely saw each other during the day, except for training and the evenings when they went to bed. Viktoria was a very tired and stressed woman.

Viktoria honestly couldn't remember the last time she let go and had fun. She was curious to where their relationship had gone, but she lived with it and continued on with her usual daily things that she went through. Viktoria could tell that something was going on, because he seemed extremely apologetic to her in the process and now they had been in hyperspace for a little while. Knowing he had taken time off from work, it made her more and more curious. By nature Viktoria was a very adventurous, curious person and the questions never stopped.

"Come on Jakkor. Where the heck are we going??"

she asked as she slid down in her seat, putting her feet up.

He turned his head over to her and replied. "It's a Surprise we are almost there." He turned his gaze back to the controls. She had been asking questions for what seemed like hours on end,and Jakkor did his best to shut her up. The proximity alarm blared and,so he pulled the lever to bring them out of hyperspace. The Outlander was brought into the orbit of Naboo,which looked as beautiful as ever. He turned over and smiled at Viktoria. "Here we are."

Viktoria looked over to Jakkor and slumped even further into the seat. She gotten tired from asking and soon fell asleep in the chair. She dreamed of many different things about her and Jakkor, the family, etc. They were more like a review of her current life. Her dreams didn't last long though when the sound of beeping woke her up. Viktoria jumped and as she did, the chair turned and with a squeak, she fell out of the chair with a solid thump.

It hurt a little bit but she got up a second later as if nothing was wrong. As he said that they had arrived, Viktoria looked to him curiously and then looking to her right, she recognized the planet in front of them to be Naboo. Her eyes widened further and further until it all occurred to her. He had taen her away to go on a trip. Looking back to Jakkor, she showed the same shocked look that she had gotten upon seeing the beautiful planet.

"Awwww!! Jakkor, what did you do??"

she asked. Viktoria honestly couldn't remember the last trip they had and she couldn't remember if they had a honeymoon. It had been so long already and too much had gone by. Too much hard work and sweat had gone by and this was their first time in a long time that they actually had alone. It was hard to believe, but she finally got her wish. She was able to get some time with Jakkor again.

Jakkor grinned upon bringing the ship into the atmosphere. He looked at his wife with glee,and than said cheerfully. "Well it seems that our relationship has kinda died after so many years. With the kids,my trials,and working to provide for our family we never had time to ourselves. I hated how you looked so miserable,and so i wanted to treat my wife with having me all to herself for a weekend in the coast areas of Naboo Where there are beaches,and a nice house for the two of us alone." He enjoyed her reaction as it seems that she had come to life once again like when they first fell in love with one another. He descended the ship down to the capital of Theed. It descended through the atmosphere rapidly. It was a clear sunny day with the beautiful architecture and wildlife filled there vision. He contacted the spaceport informing them of there arrival,and they were escorted by two N-1 fighters.

He than engaged the landing cycle going to their designated hanger. After it was finished,he unstrapped himself and looked at Viktoria. "Ready for a nice weekend of just the two of us my love." He smiled as he decided to not wear his mask for once feeling there was no need to around her. He walked carefully down the ramp of there ship and into the outside.

Viktoria's look of shock melted into one of happiness and love. She heard what he said and a wide grin grew upon her face. They both needed this trip. It was already taking the stress away as they entered the atmosphere of the planet.

"I agree. We're both to blame though. I saw you working, so I loaded myself with more and more work. But we choked ourselves up with so much stuff, that we lost sight of what was most important."

she responded. A single tear of happiness streamed down her face, but she wiped it away quickly and forced herself to not cry. When she heard that they were going to have a house to themselves on the beaches, her jaw dropped and a look of surprise came back to her.

"You got us our own house on the beach?! We need to do this more often."

she said in shock. Viktoria knew Jakkor was sweet. That was part of the reason she married him in the first place. But this was so much more than she expected. Viktoria expected romantic gestures, but this was so much more than just a gesture. This was huge. As they were landing, the ship rumbled and she looked out to see two escorts.

"Ok.. are these guys just planet security or did you get escorts as well???"

she asked, her voice raising slightly. She was getting goosebumps. Viktoria had not had this feeling in such a long time. He was a gift for her. She worked hard, but she didn't deserve him. Viktoria had always felt that way, so she tried her best to treat him as if he was the best thing that happened to her. Once they landed, Viktoria looked over to Jakkor and gave the same smile she had given on her wedding day.

"I am so ready."

She responded. Before they left, Viktoria was unsure of how she would seem to others dressed as she usually was. Luckily, having the farm it brought a little more money in, so she was able to buy a few nice, classic outfits for the trip. This was maybe the second time she had ever worn a dress, the first time being her wedding dress. It still didn't stop her from adding her own tomboy flair though with a leather jacket.

After Jakkor stood up and headed down the ramp, Viktoria went right beside him, straightening her dress and staying close to him. She still wasn't great in heels, but she made it without breaking her ankles.

He smiled as he walked down the landing ramp. He had grabbed a couple of bags, which were full of supplies and clothing for the two of them on there Vacation. He had walked to the local customs official asking him for directions,and a speeder to the local coastline. The man humbly provided the couple with what they required,and so journeyed to the hanger to receive the vehicle. The speeder than brought the two through hours of beautiful landscape,and than into the cool refreshing waters of the naboo. The water was colored a bright blue as it than reveal there new getaway. Which was an old looking two story house that sat on a cliff next to the coastline.

As Jakkor went down to get the bags, Viktoria followed him and tried to help. They didn't have too much, but she was still used to helping with the heavier loads of bags. Jakkor then went over, talking to someone about a speeder and directions, while Viktoria watched the scenery. She honestly couldn't remember the last time she was on Naboo or a vacation.

Once they had a speeder, Viktoria helped put the bags on the back and then she hopped on behind Jakkor as he then drove them to the house, as she watched the beautiful cool waters pass by. When they made it to the house, they were slowing down and Viktoria could barely wait to see the house and she jumped off as soon as they stopped.

"It's so pretty!!"

she said with a small bounce. She hadn't been this happy in a very long time. She then turned and immediately started helping with the bags, bringing them up to the house. Viktoria couldn't wait to see the inside.
