A Night on Coruscant (OPEN)

Teron casually walked down the street. He looked up at the night sky far above. He looked at the streets around him, the people, the disorginization and utter chaos. True every planet had its slums, but he had expected more out of the capitol world of the republic. It was just like Nar Shaddaa in many ways, chaos and crime ruled freely down here. There was no way the law enforcement could keep up and the republic was trying to force peace to the galaxy, yet they couldn't even keep it here, at their heart.

He continued to walk down the street, looking around in disgust. He ventured down the street towards a bar, maybe he'd stop for a drink, then get off this filthy world, find someplace relatively peaceful, if such a place even existed. He entered the bar and taking a seat at the counter, he ordered a Corellian Ale.

By the entrance to the bar, there was a rugged homeless man sitting on the sidewalk.
His face, clearly unshaven, was covered in the shadow of a hood from a thick, dirty jacket, his shirt unclean, his pants and shoes old and slightly torn up.
He jiggled the can he held towards Teron as the man passed by towards the bar, rasping out with dirty voice
"Spare some change?"
There was an aura around the man, it was not the aura of the Force, the man felt so cold in the Force, so uncertain.
It was a different aura, aura both of good and sinister mixed together, of unclean and pure dancing in one.

Perhaps it was just the smell of dried up dirt, smoke, and deathsticks clinging around this person.

Teron glared at the man, he hated beggars. This man was just like the thousands of others down here, clothes filthy and worn, smelling of dirt and deathsticks. Yet there seemed to be something different about him, but he couldn't make out what.

"No." He replied his tone cold and hateful.

"Very well."
The man rasped out from underneath the hood
"May the darkness be kind to you."
He spoke without shifting
"It is not to everyone."

A chuckle echoed down from above the pair. Perched on the porch roof of the bar Anaya's glittering red eyes looked down at them.

"The darkness is always cruel, the trick is not to hope it is kind, but to redirect its cruelty elsewhere." She told the beggar.

Eyes moved to the apprentice. "Look at you, with scorn in your eyes. Like this is all beneath you." She smirked.

"Perhaps it is... either way, all will burn the same."

Teron looked up to find a red skinned Twi'lek on the porch roof of the bar. It seemed a bit unusual for her to be up there, but then again nothing around here was very normal.

"Perhaps." He replied.

"Such cheek, what spirit comes to thread the shadow?"
The homeless shifted, standing up from the ground. There was something eery in the way he did stood up, however, he did not push himself off of the ground, or clang to something to pull himself up. He simply stood up, almost as if he glided into a standing position.
"Hark, spirit, it is not your harrowing ground."
He moved towards the entrance to the bar, jingling the can he held
"You sense scorn like the crow senses carcass, and you talk of cruelty as it is the wind, yet it is you, the wind and drift."
The man slowly disappeared among the crowd as his rasp drooled on in riddles.
"You claim to be the spirit of fire, you speak of the blaze that touches all as all do when it is all that they see. On fertile plain of lush rivers there is a firestorm, its eye claims that the fire consumes all for it is all it sees, the eye that is blind to life around it."

Gherron, a now a man of eighteen, had just recently returned to the city-planet of Coruscant with his new master, and was currently busy reacquainting himself with his homeworld. To any who saw him, the only really distinct part of his appearance that gave away his jedi affiliation was his padawan braid, which hung down the crook of his neck. He hated it, as it was a sign that he still wasn't ready to be promoted to knight status, but he was forbidden to cut it off until then. The young man walked through the street, remembering the place where he grew up and learned how to survive. It had been an awful childhood, but he had made it. Continuing along in his t-shirt and jeans, he began to whistle softly.

Vendir

Vendir was on coruscant. Where he walked into a cantina. Not to drink. But to hear the local gossip. To hear if there was any job worth perusing. Not that Vendir was a bounty hunter. But he still had nothing to do so he was going to help someone with a job or whatnot "no drinks" he said to the bartender "I don't drink" he sat there listening to people's conversations. He heard something about a murder. Another about illegal cargo. He sat there listening for a few more minutes.

Anaya watched the beggar rise, his riddles piquing her curiosity.

"I claim to be nought, begger." she replied softly. "I accept cruelty, that is in my nature, and his too." she inclined her head towards the apprentice before dropping lightly off the roof, bare feet making no sound as the landed softly on the pavement. She followed the beggar, a shadow behind him, listening to his mutterings.

"The blaze will consume all. Chaos will rise and singe everything." Three dancing steps and she was in front of him, walking backwards.

"Who are you, begger?"

Teron watched as the Beggar, @[member="Inkblot"] began speaking his riddles wandering off into the crowd, then @[member="Anaya Fen"] jumping down to follow him. He walked into the bar, taking a seat by @[member="Vendir"], he ordered a drink. As he sipped on his drink, he looked over at the man, he had the appearance of a soldier and was wearing full body armor.

"What brings someone like you out here tonight?" he questioned the man, for no particular reason.

Apparently, Coruscant was the same place he had left little more than a year ago. As he was walking, he came across what appeared to be a man and a twi'lek harassing a beggar. This had gone on for some time before the two finally left, heading into a nearby bar. Judging his options, he decided it would be better if he checked on the beggar first, to make sure he was okay. The other two would be in the bar for a while, so he had plenty of time. "Excuse me sir, are you alright?", he asked @[member="Inkblot"].

Anaya would find it much more difficult to keep up with the beggar or get in front of him.
A turn here, there, sudden shuffle, person passing, the beggar's step falling silent as he danced among the weave of the crowd.
Falling silent in the Force, in the sound, like only a shadow of a presence.
There was a clink then, the can dropped to the floor somewhere among the crowd, none would hear anything more from the beggar.

Suddenly, the bar was flushed with light like lightning, smoke like a storm cloud, and exploding clash like thunder, it all originated from the can.

No one would be hurt by the sudden noise and flash, it was not meant to harm but to distract. People ran and screamed in turn, sirens would have been heard soon as the smoke from the cover rose above the bar in a pillar.
Somewhere off to the side, there was a dirty jacket and a bearded mask that covered the beggar's face once.

Vendir

Someone had sat next to Vendir and asked him why he was at the bar "it doesn't concern yo-" there was a flash. It blinded Vendir for a moment. He recovered and looked around to see who had done this. He started feeling the feelings in the force around him. Lots of fear. Some counfusion. He looked at the now clear bar and saw what had caused the flash. It was the remains of a can. He picked it up and studied it. Afterwards he dropped it and saw a jacket and mask lying to the side "who's jacket is this..." He said looking at the jacket.

"What the hell?" A flash had come from the bar. Screaming. As much as he wanted to help the beggar, he needed to find out what had happened. If anyone was hurt, he needed to be able to defend them against anybody that might want to harm. "I'll be right back, stay here." He turned back to where the man had been, only to find a jacket and a mask. "How...?" He had too many confusing questions that couldn't be answered. Instead of trying, he looked around the bar, making sure everyone was okay.

Teron sat there, next to @[member="Vendir"], drinking his drink. Then as @[member="Inkblot"] dropped his can, it exploded in a flash of light blinding everyone in the bar for a moment. As his vision returned he saw smoke rising, people were fleeing the scene in terror, a siren could be heard in the distance, the bar was in total chaos. The explosion hadn't done any damage from what he could tell. He saw the armored man examining the scene, but he stayed where he was, not bothering to investigate.
