A New Path

Dorpo

Guest
Dorpo walked across the street, he had killed another person on order from his Sith superiors. He was tired of having to kill innocent civilians on order from the Sith, if not there was another path to follow... Wait! The Jedi, but his father would surely put him to death.

"A Dramatic Force-Blessed Myth"
Vulpesen was simply wandering the area, when he saw a small figure, walking through the street. A yoda species... The thought popped into Vulpesen's head, inspiring curiosity. Of course, he'd seen them before, but they were still a galactic enigma that Vulpesen had been infuriatingly unable to solve. As the thoughts raced through his head, he found himself puzzled by something else. The force around this person was dark, yet conflicted. The lightsaber at his hip, and the blood on his hands brought upon Vulpesen's realization that this had to be a Sith. While other Jedi may have fought or challenged the being, Vulpesen would stay true to his personal creed, working to bring those in the dark to the light.

Despite his eventual intentions, there were matters that he had to deal with before changing this sith. Introductions. The young jedi walked to @[member="Dorpo"] and spoke. "Salutations." The light side of the force came off of Vulpesen and he had no doubts that Dorpo would miss it. The last image Vulpesen needed this person to have of the jedi, was that they were unkind and unforgiving.

A man approached Dorpo and said "Salutations". He could feel the light side of the Ford come over him. Maybe his father had found out that he was still alive. He kneeled down to the man as if he was about to be executed, Tears slid down Dorpo's face and fear overcome him, maybe his father had told him that if my death was painful, he would pay the man more. Dorpo being his neck down so he was looking at the ground.

Vulpesen raised an eyebrow. Hate, aggravation, even miled annoyance. All things he had expected from the sith, but not humility. He was puzzled to say the least. "I would think that you would run me through rather than kneel before me. Which begs the question, exactly why are you doing that?" Vulpesen kept his voice even and kind. The conflict could be felt raging within this one who had bowed before Vulpesen, and he would need words of kindness to settle such a conflict on the side of the light. @[member="Dorpo"]

The man spoke "I would think that you would run me through rather than kneel before me.Which begs the question, exactly why are you doing that?" This sent another wave of fear through Dorpo, the man was either playing dumb or wasn't here to kill me. Dorpo looked up and spoke, "You're not here to kill me?"

"I'm a Jedi. I don't kill unless I absolutely have to." Vulpesen offered his hand to help the @[member="Dorpo"] to his feet. Strange. Most people knew this, even the Sith had thought the Jedi weak for being unable to kill unless under certain conditions. What had this person been through so that he now thought that the Jedi would kill him on sight.

The man spoke and claimed that the Jedi don't kill unless absolutely necessary, that was a li. Dorpo's father would kill him on sight or worse, lock him away in a cold room with one meal a week. Dorpo allowed the man to help him up, as childhood memories of his father emerged in front of him. Dorpo allowed another tear to fall down his face. This Jedi was nice, but were all of them nice? His father defiantly wasn't, but then again. When Dorpo ran away from the house that night, his only knowledge was Jedi were bad, and the opposite of Jedi is Sith. That was how he choose this path.

Vulpesen noticed the tear and could feel the scars of his past, rising through the force. "What happened to you?" Vulpesen kept the question simple. Whatever had gone on this being's life, Vulpesen would have to dig deep to heal the scars that had been caused from the past. @[member="Dorpo"]

"I've had a bad experience with Jedi" Dorpo replied shaking "My father was one, but he was not kind like you, he... he" Dorpo stopped there, he couldn't bring himself to recount his past, tears began to run down his face again.

"He was a poor jedi, should he have any claim to the title at all." Vulpesen wasn't completely sure what had happened, but he had an idea, and he felt it hard to repress the anger he felt towards the one who would scar someone like this. @[member="Dorpo"]

"He became a Master, if he was corrupt, I have no idea how he managed" all the baddest memories were emerging, like the time his father broke his legs to an extent were Dorpo could not walk without a walking stick, his father had done this because he thought it unfair that he was the one that needed a walking stick, Dorpo gripped the cane on his belt, he could walk without it now. Tears lid down his face. He remembered the one bowl of soup he had to savour for a week, as more tears slid down his face.

"I can assure you that he is a master no more. I know of only one master of your race, and he is not corrupt as your father was." Vulpesen looked to this scarred being, and finally asked the question that would make or break this endeavor. "You show a hatred for your father's actions, and yet you have allowed this to taint you with the same darkness he had in his heart. By joining the sith, you have joined in the ideals of that which you have run from." Vulpesen wasn't completely sure if this Yoda species was a sith, but it was a fair guess from what he had sensed and seen. @[member="Dorpo"]

"I joined the Sith out my fear towards what I knew as the Jedi" Dorpo replied "I never knew it was only my father that was corrupt". Dorpo suddenly had a beam of hope. "Would the Jedi redeem me?" He asked the man.

"I believe they would. If not, then I know a few people outside the order who may help you." of course, Vulpesen was referring to his father/master and the Army of Light. The wise fox was just as experienced as most jedi knights when it came to the force, but Vulpesen highly doubted that would be necessary, afterall, what purpose did the jedi have other than turning people away from the darkness and its perils. "By the way, my name is Vulpesen Espadus Torrevaso. Vulps for short." Vulpesen could feel the hope rising, and he fed off of it to keep himself confident. @[member="Dorpo"]

"Thank you Vulpesen, for guiding me away from the darkness" Dorpo said to @[member="Vulpesen"] "I look forward to joining the ranks of the Jedi"

Vulpesen nodded and turned towards the temple. "Word of advice, Daella Apparine is a bit silent, but a very good teacher. Other than that, I look forward to seeing you among our ranks." @[member="Dorpo"]

Dorpo felt something strange as he walked, his connection with the Sith was lifted, he was now truly redeemed.
