A New Beginning [Coci]

Ever since their first visit to Tabaqui, a planet of great natural beauty with green jungles and blue lakes just to name a few, Thurion had semi-secretly been working on their new home there. He'd hired a construction company from Levantine space to help out in its creation, but much of the time he would go there to work on it by himself. Once the foundation and skeleton was in place, it wasn't too difficult to finish some of it on his own. They sought to utilize the nature around them in its construction, which meant a house made largely out of wood and various other elements found locally on Tabaqui.

Now their new home was near completion, and he decided it was time for his fiancée to see the fruits of their hard work. He'd contacted her asking her to come meet him down on the planet's surface, and to bring Nina with her. She would know the place without question, as they picked out the spot together. Once her ship landed some distance away from the construction site, right next to his own ship, he watched the hatch open and the ramp lower itself. He wore nothing on his upper body, and his skin was covered in beads of sweat from the last heavy liftings.

She would not see the house from where the landing site was located, as they would have to retrace their steps through the jungle to come out the other side. He wanted this to be a surprise. "Hello, beautifuls..." he greeted them as Coci and Nina came down the ramp, holding hands.

This time is different. This time Coci had Nina with her and Nina’s presences removed her normal fear of flying. Too focused on the small girl and her safety to have irrational concerns about her own. Not much room is afforded in her personal ship, The Sting, a corellian YT-1250, and so Nina took position in the co-pilots chair.

On descent to Tabaqui, co-ordinates known to her, Coci signalled for Nina to come to her. She had allowed her to take control of the ship for a little while under strict supervision of course, as they moved above the planet’s surface. The sensors blinked picking up the signature of Thurion’s ship. Coci pointed it out to Nina and a smile broke on the small child’s face. She was not alone, Coci’s face beamed equally.

Walking with Nina down the ramp, her black eyes searched for her beloved. His ship locked up and showing no sign of him. Then, as if coming out of the surrounding jungle, she saw him and her smile widened. She released Nina’s hand as the girl wanted to run to him. Coci however, kept her pace, her eyes falling over his exposed upper body, the sun light sparkling within the small beads of sweat sitting on his shoulders and arms, his hair even more sun kissed and golden. The sight of him more impressive than the extraordinary natural surrounds, and enough to get any woman’s blood pumping.

Simply, he looked as if he belonged in this place.

“Hello my love”, she replies with a smile, as she nears. Immediately going to him, her hand raising to cup his face and give a kiss filled with her love. She did not hide the fact that she once more looked him over, this time with curiosity. “What have you been doing?”.

Nina came running down the ramp first, practically leaping into his open arms as they embraced one another. He kept her in his arms for a time, until Coci reached the bottom of the ramp and he put her back down in the soft grass to meet his beloved's embrace. They kissed, and he felt her eyes upon him. "Oh, you know... Sparetime activities and the likes", came his obviously clumsy answer to her question, accompanied by an innocent smile as if having been caught stealing from the cookie jar.

Thurion reached down his back pocket to find a towel with which he wiped his face with to get rid of some of the beads of sweat, after which he lay it across his shoulders behind his neck. "Come on, I'll show you", he then told them both. Nina immediately went to grab hold of his hand, not caring that his palm remained hot and somewhat moist. It was her first visit to Tabaqui, and already she much preferred it to the places her father had taken her to previously. Of course, Midvinter is a close second since that's where grandpa lives, she thought.

Taking Coci by the hand, as well, he lead them away from the open field and into the jungle. Having set foot there before, Coci would soon notice the ease at which they were able to wander through the woods. Upon looking down she would see that the path they walked on had been flattened and flagged with stone the whole way. Some of the bushes had been trimmed on both sides to allow easier access to where the path was taking them.

At the end of it, there hanged a thick curtain of vines and leaves to act like a passage to the other side. Nina was allowed to step through, but he would savour the moment for Coci a little more. He positioned himself behind her and placed both palms over her eyes to block her vision as he led her through the curtain. "No peeking", he told her playfully.

A few steps further, and he removed his hands, settling them upon her shoulders. "What do you think?"

A small smile crept over her face as he became more mysterious, leading them along a path which was not there before. "Where did this come from?", she asked knowing the answer would not come to her as yet. Nina skipped ahead enjoying being back with her father and eying the new surroundings. She will love it here, much to do and explore. Coci felt much the same, even had the childlike feelings running through her mind only to be enhanced by Thurion.

Before her a curtain of vines, Nina had disappeared into them, but Thurion had stopped Coci and placed his hands over her eyes. She felt the gentle touch of the vine leaves on her face as they passed through the curtain. "Thurion honestly .. ", she giggled, "What have .... ".


As he removed his hands from her eyes, and asked her what she thought, she saw the house. For the moment she could not say a word as she took in the sight of it, not really trusting her eyes to give the truth. Her mouth hung open for a while until it formed a smile and her feet moved slowly toward it. Made from some sentient production for foundation, the rest constructed from nature, from the jungle. It sat against the waters of the lake that had found it's way into the jungle which lapped against a small jetty. It is big and houses two levels and open to the air and more importantly she could see his touch in the design of it. It is the most wonderful thing she had ever seen.

Coci turned back to Thurion, her face looked upon him with new found wonderment, then she approached him, her heart full of emotion. Her hands found his bare waist and held him as she rested her head to his chest. She could not hold the emotions or the tears of joy. "You built us a home", she voiced softly. "It is almost the most beautiful thing I have ever seen", she said as she now looked up into his face. "The most beautiful thing in this galaxy, I am looking at right now".

She reached up and kissed his lips, one of gratitude and enormous love for an incredible man.

She appeared unable to restrain her joy, and when she looked up into his eyes with those dark jewels of hers he smiled, cupping her cheek followed by his lips upon hers. He would've indulged this intimate moment to last a lifetime, had it not been for the faint tugging of his pant leg. Upon looking down there stood little Nina, smiling wide at the sight of their new home and practically bouncing in place. She extended her arms towards her father, and he bent the knee to pick her up into his arms. "Come, let's go take a closer look", he said, taking Coci by the hand.

Coci could not take the smile from her face. Nina is equally delighted and show it to them both, Coci felt like a child herself and was just as eager to go look inside. Moving along the stone path to the house, she let Thurion lead the way. As they got closer Coci saw the intricate design clearer and the craftmanship of the construction.

"This is amazing Thurion", she whispered. He walked them up onto the veranda and around to the front, for a moment Coci stopped to look over the waters, a narrow part of the lake surrounded by jungle until it reached the main body of water. In the distance she would see the towering pillar of rock that juts out of the centre of the lake, all covered in lush green foliage. The light of the day danced on the ripple of waves and sparkled.

Turning away from this scene, she continued to hold his hand and waited for him to lead them across the threshold.

"Glad you like it", he smiled wide, settling a hand upon one of the wooden pillars. "These carvings are of Valkyri design. I took notice of them while on Midvinter, and they proved easy enough to replicate." He was amazed at the ease of which he'd learnt some of the ancient language of his people, further proving he is indeed his father's son. He also found immense enjoyment in constructing the house and adorning it with Valkyri runes. Carpentry could very much prove to be a hobby of his...

As soon as he opened the door, Nina was already across the threshold and eagerly exploring their new home. Her tiny feet pattered against the wooden floor as she wandered from room to room with a slight bounce to her walk due to her excitement. Thurion and Coci followed... for a time. When Nina was busy climbing the stairs to the upper floor, his hand tightened around hers, and he put his other arm around her waist and pulled her close.

"I've missed you", he spoke softly before pressing his lips against hers. Their breaths and warmth joined together as one, and his senses tingled with the inhaling of her sweet scent and the taste of her lips.

Her fingers traced the carving of the wood in the Valkyri design, as if they could decipher the ruin symbols but of course not, this is something Coci has no understanding of, maybe on day she will. But what intrigued her the most, was the smoothness of the wood and the deft craftsmanship, he never.. ever fails to surprise her. Not that she considers him incapable, he just chooses his time to show her. There is love in the wood as well, his care proved that, every single piece he had chosen and built showed her the capacity of love the man has, not just for her, as this was just as much for Nina.

As he led her into their home, she looked around with more wonder and fell in love with him once more. Her stomach turned as he grabbed for her, sending that flurry of butterflies loose and as he looked down into her face, she failed to remember to breath. His lips met hers and she simply let herself fly away on his love. Her body moved on it's own accord pressing against him as her arms raised and placed themselves around his neck. She pulled back from the kiss, their noses remained touching as she looked into those beautiful eyes. A small smile creased her lips, "Prove it...", she whispered the words that his asks of her. Every moment she spends away from Thurion is a moment lost and without love present. She feels him through the force of that she will always do, but nothing can compare to her eyes settling on his face.

"I love you". And she had missed him too.

Lost in the moment, Thurion put both arms around her as he backed her up against the wall. His hands went for her wrists as he raised her arms above her head, pinning her body in place. His lips never left hers, locked together in unison. He would've taken her right there and then had it not been for Nina's soft footsteps audible from the upper floor, moving about.

"Tonight, my love..." he whispered past her ear before kissing her cheek and down her neck, then rested his chin against her shoulder as the two embraced one another.

By then Nina was stood atop the staircase, smiling wide and gesturing for them to join her. Tearing his gaze away from Coci he took her by the hand and led his fiancée up the stairs.

His proof, powerful. As Thurion pinned her to the wall, she could feel and sense his wanting of her. Her fingers curled only to release as he kissed her with the fire of passion. She also left him in no doubt of her desire as her body pressed against his and her mouth search for his with hunger. The build up of desire rose fast as her hips moved forward to his, but they would have to wait.

Night would come soon enough, but the torture of the day remained until then. A strong gust of wind blew through the open windows and cooled her arder somewhat, as he took her by the hand and led her upstairs. Nina greeting them, looking down with a smile on her face. It was clear she loved her new home which made Coci smile equally.

Coci placed her hand gently on Nina's arm, and spoke to her. Have you chosen your room? Nina was eager to show them everything she had found and Coci wanted nothing more then to see all of it as well. She wanted to see the place that love built and where love would reside.

Nina only nodded at her question before turning around to trot down the open hallway. She stopped as she reached the open door leading to the room she'd picked out, and eagerly pointed for them to come see. Thurion was well aware of which room she'd picked out, seeing how he'd built the place, but he gladly indulged his daughter's excitement and curiosity by joining Coci in investigating her find.

While still lacking in interior design, the house already had the bare necessities to live in, with beds prepared and hand-crafted, plumbing and kitchen fully installed, etc. He would leave the rest to his beloved, as she'd already demonstrated she had a nack for these things.

The room was much bigger than the ones Nina'd experienced prior to coming here, and within it stood a bed and some other furniture, such as a table and a chair or two. Nina looked up to her father, who nodded quietly moments before she leaped onto the bed, bouncing on it happily. What she had managed to overlook in her excitement, Thurion now pointed at for Coci to take notice of:

Coci enjoyed Nina's fun. She is so happy and full of life around her new home. This would be encouraged by Coci in the future, and she hoped to take Nina out more and explore the jungles .. just the two of them. A little girl time ..

Thurion had provided means for them to stay immediately, a bed, chair and tables ready for use. Her eyes began to look over the place and see more thing to decorate the room for her. And now she could not wait to see their room. However, Thurion moved closer and pointed to something by the far wall. She had missed it at first, but then she realised what it was. A child's crib.

Initially, Coci thought it a gift for Nina to play with, but as she looked closer she soon realised. A short intake of breath would be heard by Thurion as she moved over to look more closely at the crib. Standing there looking down into it, she smiled.

Her hand reached over and began to rock it and her mind thought of the possibilities, that one day they would have a child together. She turned and smiled a baring smile and nodded her approval and acceptance to one day give him the gift of a child.

Coci's hand reached out for Thurion to take it. She moved closer and kissed his lips, her hand cupped his face and caressed his beard.

Her actions spoke louder than words, and their kiss sealed the deal. One day they would have a child, and he would not make his father's mistake, ever. This was his home, now, and it would remain such beyond the end of time. Here he would grow old with the woman he loves and watch his children become adults, and on his deathbed he would die a happy man. But there were many years before his time, and in the meantime he would live.

After their kiss he nodded back at her, smiling bright at the thought of baby making. With Nina being preoccupied in exploring her own room, Thurion led Coci back out into the hallway towards the door at the end of it. His hand placed hers upon the handle for her to open it, and within awaited a largely empty room, much like every other in the freshly-built house. What did exist was a bed of generous proportions, ready for use. "Tonight, my love", he repeated softly past her ear before placing his lips upon her neck, standing behind her.

She pushed the door handle and allowed it to swing open before she would enter the room. Thurion had led her there and stood behind her. Before her fell the sight of their bedroom, large and furnished with a bed ready for the night. Once more the room is designed with Valkyri themes but soft on the eyes, wooden floors lead to a large open window and beyond that a long balcony that ran along the entire length of the house. Coci could see the waters of the lake beyond the frame of the window and in the distance the towering rock in it's center, to the right the waterfall and where they first made love here on their new home planet.

Her arms came up to rest on his as he took waist. She held him tight and rested her head back against his bare chest, allowing herself to remain and take in the moment which would stay with her for all eternity. "Tonight", she repeated softly, as she turned around now. "You are wonderful", and she kissed him.

Coci's hands glided over this body until she reached his hands and took them leading him inside the room. She took in every detail as a smile grew on her face, then moved out onto the balcony and took in a deep breath of crisp air. Her eyes lifted to the skies, only a slight tremor ran through her body as she spotted a darkening cloud on the horizon, the memory of the Taung slowly fading but still linger somewhat. "It looks like it will rain soon".

Joining Coci out on the balcony overlooking the sparkling lake stretching out before them, flanked by lush jungle on either side, Thurion put both arms around his fiancée and looked deep into her dark eyes, so full of enticing mystery. "That day when you fell from the tower on Shri-Tal... I thought I'd lost you, that my world would shatter anew after having just found you." His hand found hers, and their fingers entwined. His other hand brushed away the strands of hair from her face and settled upon her cheek. "I thank the Force every day for returning you to me", he said as his lips found hers once more. Again he would've taken it further, only this time he was stopped by a protesting rumble in his tummy.

He sighed at the comical yet somewhat frustrating timing, kissing her forehead and resting his chin atop her head as the two embraced one another. It was still bright afternoon, despite dark clouds slowly rolling in off in the distance. There would be several hours before they would reach them, and it gave him an idea. "How about we all go outside for a picknick by the lake? We still have time before the weather turns for the worse."

The lingering kiss ended all to soon and as she nestled into his chest she recalled the night in the tower over Shri-Tal and the more probably outcome of those events. It was only the will of the force and Thurion's force strength coupled with his love for her that saved her that night. And then he would save her once more as he help the Jedi rid her of the evil presence within. It still haunts her in her dreams some nights. The Force only knows what Connor must be going through. Nima would pull through, under the guidance of the Grand Master but Connor .. well it will make or break him and she would not let him fall, again.

"The Force was with us that night but it was more your strength that saved me and for that I will always be thankful to you". Her arms held him firm. Then she laughed, as his stomach protested it's neglect. "I think a picnic is now priority". She smiled looking up to his handsome face and dived into those sapphire blue eyes she loves so much.

"Lets go and find Nina and pack some food". She stood back from him and looked over his bare chest, " .. And maybe a swim, to wash away the days toiling from your body. I can help with that". She grinned and gave him a lazy wink.

The two did as they both suggested; they gathered Nina and a basket of food before stepping outside to bask in the warmth of the sun. They settled in the soft grass at the lakeside, overlooking the waterfall he and Coci both already had fond memories of from their first visit to this place together. The next few hours the family-of-three spent picknicking and generally tending to eachother, with Thurion even indulging in showing Nina a few tricks using the Force, such as making tiny pebbles move on their own. She was becoming increasingly interested in the matters of the Force, and he knew it wouldn't be long before she was ready for training. While many Jedi started out much younger than her, Thurion was feeling hesitant to begin her training. He did not want her to become just another soldier fighting wars and witness so much death. Gods knew he'd already seen enough.

After their meal, Nina had fallen soundly asleep in her father's arms as it was time for her afternoon nap. This gave him and his fiancée an opportunity for some quality time as a couple, and while Nina was napping the two would go for a swim like she had suggested. There was no danger; they could still clearly see Nina where she lay sleeping in the grass. Without further ado Thurion stripped himself of his bottoms and dipped his feet into the cool water.

After they had eaten, Coci laid back in the grass and looked up into the sky. She allowed the vast expanse of blue canopy take her thoughts away for a while. All the past events, duty, and all that must still be done or what they might face in the future. For now, she just wanted to stay here in the present with her only thoughts on the two she loves. Her only movement was her head as Thurion lifted Nina and placed her among the grass and a cooler place, to sleep. There is no one more gentle than this giant of a man, of physicality and character.

She turned her head once more as Thurion moved toward the waters of the lake, removing his trousers in the process. Coci watched him for a while, her eyes taking leisure to glide over him. There was not one part of him she did not know now and the more see looked the more she admired him. With her hand resting on her hip, her fingers moved and weaved a thread of the force toward him, a growing grin on her face would be the only sign of her intention. Her force thread took hold of the back of his undergarment and pulled back before she released it with a snap. Moving down to the hem of his underwear, she tugged pulling downward until is exposed his hip. She began chuckling soft so to not wake Nina.

Coci stood up and undressed to her underwear and joined him by the waters edge. "Let me wash you".

Both of them now stood waist-deep in the crystal clear waters of the lake, which now belonged to them by all accounts as they owned the land surrounding it, Thurion allowed his beloved to wash the sweat and dirt off his body. Her soft hands swept across his chiseled physique, her fingers tracing every line of the many lasting scars. It felt like heaven as she did, as if washing away any lingering pains from his body and mind, soothing his soul to no end.

His eyes fell upon her stood mere inches before him as she worked his chest and abdomen, with little else to do than watch with loving gaze. But then his hands found hers and brought them up to his lips, soon followed by appreciative kisses upon them both, soft and gentle. There was little eroticism involved, with more focus on love and appreciation than anything else. There would be time for pleasures of a more carnal nature once darkness fell upon the Heavenshield household.

For now, Thurion pulled his fiancée close by putting a hand behind her waist, then met her lips with his. In one swift motion he'd plucked her into his arms and now carried her off towards the beach consisting largely of sand with tufts of grass scattered about. His lips never left hers. He placed her in the warm sand and lay atop her, hands caressing her skin endlessly. "I love you."

The weight of the man pressed down on her. His tender caresses made her skin tingle which sent waves of delight throughout her entire body. Thurion is the kindest man to ever grace the galaxy, loving with all his being for those he cares for without fault. His whispered words of love only served to prove his actions and for Coci, this was only matched by her love for him. He is her love, her greatest love and her lover.

Her kiss mingled with his, warm and embracing. Her hands held his waist as she moved a leg up to caress his then entwining them. She delighted his skin with the tips of her fingers, running them over his broad back until she reached his hair. She loves his hair, golden sun kissed and long and soon her fingers played within the locks. ".. And I am in love with you". She turned to whisper to him.

Without her lips leaving his, she pushed his shoulders and pressed her body upward to roll him over on his back. Coci would continue to prove her love for him with soft feathered kisses over his face and neck. They are both mindful that Nina is not far away and would soon require them after her rest, but tonight they would become one in their new bed, in a house that would see them grow old together.
