SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Scylla AI fitted as standard to interlink units or weapons. Optionally can be used in place of the ship's own targeting mechanism, or if the ship's bridge or targetting is compromised.
  • Independent Power Generator for Each Weapon, meaning it can fire even if the ship loses power, coupled with the AI targetting this makes this weapon reliable even in dire circumstances.

Total Time to Completion: 6 Years, 3 Months and 19 Days Galactic Standard Time.


An Uos was back once again as the project lead, this one rising up through the ranks cloak and dagger as they seem to like it. Several tech teams have reported not wanting to work for or even with Vannax and after his performance now we all know why. 400,000 credits over budget and 2 years past schedule. No less than three team members quit over creative differences. Creative is rumored to mean they couldn't stand the man obsessing over details, and so we highly advise admin review his record before assigning him to new tasks.

Turbolasers are usually big and bulky because they heat up a lot, they require extra space for methods to cool down. In this design, Apex have found a way to lower the size slightly. Ejecting and replacing heat sinks as required reduces how much space is wasted. Giving the A-MQT1 turbolaser more of a traditional ammunition requirement, its ammunition being heat sinks which are automatically reloaded when required into the weapon.

The project team wants to give a special mention to Melsk Thraus III, who seems like he's proving useful again, there is life in the old name yet. Apex are hoping this one doesn't disappear in mysterious circumstances like the last two, recommending intersec security keep a watch.

As is the current design philosophy for the latest series of weapons. A-MQT1 is sturdy and functions on minimal or emergency power, its own generator giving it the ability to continue firing indefinitely until destroyed.
