Sethrak took a breath, the warm, dry air filling his vast lungs. Then he let it out slowly. It had been a long trip from Lothal to Caerdar and he was glad to finally be on solid ground. However he expected it would be a long day. He had been called in by Shipmaster Thova 'Mdanam to settle some dispute regarding his people, The Vaydralen, and The Warlocks within The Superstructure. He did not know the details of the conflict, but his presence was requested as a mediator and a teacher due to his position as The First Warlock, and a Warlord of Lothal and Nar Kreeta.

Sethrak had also declared himself the guardian of all Allied Races. He assumed that had something to do with this request. It was a massive job in a society split between conservatives, and more liberal groups that wanted to see The Drael grow and change before they became predictable and outdated. It seemed that half of the Drael were against him and half were with him. But he was no stranger to this feeling. Before he became a warlord and The First Warlock, he was a heretic, and had nearly paid for it with his life.

In truth he wanted to appease The Conservatives of his race. He agreed with them more often than they knew, and he respected their way of life. If not for them, The Bryn'adul may not exist. However he believed they needed to change, not needlessly though. All living things adapted to their environment. The Bryn were conquerors, they were nearly unstoppable, however they were becoming predictable. Predictability was a fatal mistake when you had enemies all around you.

That was the mindset he had when he approached the structure. He entered the Superstructure and was immediately greeted by several Vaydralen and Drael. They quickly took him to the center of the structure where he entered an elevator. Up top he was supposed to meet Thova and begin discussing the situation. Mentally he was prepared to explain and say whatever necessary to settle the situation. However he had no idea what to expect. Was there a skirmish between Warlocks and Vaydralen? Was it simply a verbal disagreement? Who was involved, just individuals, or an entire group? He would find out soon enough...

The Force was a weapon, that is what Thova understood. Warriors of the Force served across the galaxy, and the Jedi that the Bryn'adul currently fought were just one threat to the greater nation. Thova had seen the mysterious power in action most recently during the raid into Silver Jedi Concord space, felt it used against his very being. Now, he was forced to confront a stark realization. It was easy to label a unknowable and vague power as a weapon of the enemy, but to have it used by your own allies was another thing entirely.

The Warlocks were the ones within the Bryn'adul nation that could harness the Force like the Jedi and Sith. They were primarily drawn from the Draelvasier species, so the Vaydralen had not been forced to address them directly. However, a Vaydralen child had been found to have a strong connection to the Force, a near impossibility for the warrior species. Warlocks had been dispatched to the Vaydralen Clans Akra, their fortress home, to collect the child to be taken and trained. Their arrival had been met with confusion at first, but once their intentions had been made clear, they were met with aggression.

There had been no deaths, but the Warlocks had been expelled from the Clans Akra, and there was now a standoff between the Vaydralen inside and a contingent of Draelvasier brought in to handle the matter. Thova had quickly sent word to Sethrak Sethrak when he learned of the situation. The First Warlock, Thova had fought alongside the creature on Nal Hutta, and while they had little contact between each other, Thova hoped he would be able to smooth over matters here.

Sethrak was still in the elevator, quickly ascending to the top of the building. As he waited he reminded himself about the Vaydralen. They were one of the newer races in The Covenant, introduced by Tathra Khaeus. Sethrak, like all Drael, had learnt about their culture through what was written, but he had not had any experiences with them apart from a battle on Nar Kreeta where they fought together. Sethrak knew that they were a proud species that put combat above most things. They were expert marksmen and swordsmen...a true warrior species like The Draelvaiser. However, the ability to use The Force was extremely rare within their populace. He also knew that females were rare among the species, and were thus held in high esteem.

As far as their relationship with The Drael, they were loyal to a fault and saw their relationship as something they were honor bound to follow.

Sethrak knew their history well, viewing it as an important thing to know about them, unlike many other Drael who didn't care about their history as much as what they brought to The Bryn as a whole. The Vaydralen had been in a terrible war with themselves after a military leader led a coup against the government. Tathra had solved this situation by proving the Drael were superior and could destroy both sides easily. He did this by dueling and beating each side's strongest warrior.

Sethrak was prepared to do something similar if necessary.

Finally the elevator came to a stop and Sethrak stepped out into the command room. Inside he saw Thova standing among several others. The last time Sethrak was in a command room, he had killed Amok-to, a warlord causing dissent in the middle of a battle, and taken command. When he took command he had nearly caused the death of Osam and Sylok by gassing the area they were in, unaware that they were pinned down. He had run into the area to save them, only to succumb to the ink himself. However, they had all survived. Regardless, it gave him bad memories to be in the room, and it made him question his own authority.

"Thova, I have arrived. How may I assist?"
