Private A Jedi, a Sith, and a Beach walk into a Casino

Yenna was in complete disbelief as she listened to Zlova’s recounting of the previous evening’s events. With visible confusion she stared at the woman, her mouth opening occasionally to try and say something, only to close up as Zlova continued to mention stuff that completely didn’t make sense. A blush finally formed when the Lethan finished up, followed by a loud sip as Yenna drank her smoothie.

A laugh of pure disbelief finally escaped her as she stared at Zlova. ”To say, I do not know what.” She muttered as she tucked a few strands of hair behind her enormous ears. ”The chase, I find hard to believe... also, a tart I am not.” She stated, trying to defend her reputation in vain. After getting wasted, swindling credits, and finally waking up half naked next to a woman in her bed, she didn’t exactly have anything to defend herself with.

”Admit, I must. Remember, I certainly do not... though, anger your boyfriend, I do not want to. So... a good idea, a ‘repeat’ probably isn’t.” It was painfully obvious that she wasn’t wholeheartedly convinced in that regard. And the occasional glance at Zlova didn’t help her argument. A few minutes later and she set her empty plate aside, scooting over to dangle her legs down beside Zlova as she sipped at her smoothie once more. After adjusting her shirt she turned to look at the Lethan. ”Though... remember, I’d like to...” She muttered shyly as she looked away with an embarrassed smile.

”In me, something you stirred. A reminder, I’d say. Not fun, being alone is. Afraid of the pain, I have been for a long time. But... perhaps, not so bad, it has to be.” She thought aloud as she stare out of the big balcony window a couple meters away. With the morning sun casting its rays over the lovely beaches and oceans of Scarif, it was quite a sight.

Zlova leaned in closer to the green woman with smile on her lips. "You, my Dear, are a tart. A delicious and unhealthy edible that tempts even a Sith." The more Yenna protested, the more amusement it brought the Twi'lek.

"The Cat? We have an understanding. I don't have 'relations' with anyone other than him. That doesn't make me a monk." Zlova smirked. "He knows how much I enjoy flirting. He won't take a kiss as an insult or challenge to his place as my furry lover. After all," a red hand was placed beside Yenna where she sat, "I'm the Dom in our relationship." A toothy grin followed the pronouncement. Was it true? Truth never mattered; a fact that would vex Yenna to no small extent if Zlova said that aloud. So, how true it was or wasn't would require the Jedi go ask Talohn himself, which she wouldn't do out of concern of imposing on their relationship. That was how Sith won arguments.

That and by killing the opponent. Zlova preferred verbal cornering or maneuvers.

"You'll appreciate this, Yenna," the red woman turned to face the short one, "the Sith Code is an abomination designed to shackle a person with their own guilt and anger at being too weak to find 'true' freedom. Living in solitude is the same thing. Every moment is one witnessed alone with no one to share in it. If we hadn't met you would have forgotten about that beach in two weeks. With a companion you always have someone that can reminisce in that shared moment. Find someone, Yenna. Build lots of memories with them. Sure, you may suffer at times, but what's life without the darkness to help the light shine all the brighter?"

Yenna sat in silence as Zlova spoke. She couldn't help but giggle at the Sith's description of her... it was certainly a nice way to look at things. Her gaze raised up when she started to explain the exact evils that loneliness brought with it. There was no lie in her words, Yenna could confirm that without a doubt. All of her pleasant memories came from her time spent with others.

This was no exception.

For a moment she forgot that Zlova was even Sith. With words like those, it was sobering to say the least. She didn't know what to say back, sitting there next to the Lethan with her legs dangling off the side of the island. Her gaze returned to Zlova as she released a gentle breath and scooted closer. Sucking up her worries, she gentle stood on Zlova's legs and took hold of her cheeks before planting a gentle kiss on her lips. After holding it for a few seconds way longer than she intended, she let go and looked up into her eyes. "This, I needed." She admitted with a gentle smile. "... Jealous, I think I might be." She snickered as she stood in the Lethan's lap.

"Do, what else can we? To leave, too early it is. A week, we still have." She asked her with a slight tilt of her head.

Zlova sat back and regarded the Jedi that didn't care about the Twi'lek's upbringing and use of the Dark Side. Her golden eyes shone in the morning light as a small smirk drew back the corner of her lips. Yen scooted closer before making a bold move to stand atop Zlova's red legs. Quickly followed by an even bolder move to lean in and kiss a Lord of the Sith.

It didn't matter Zlova didn't parade about demanding lesser lifeforms call her Lady, Lord, or Darth. No one would ever get her to renounce being what she was. Even if she didn't believe in senseless slaughter, Zlova didn't believe in everyone sitting around a camp fire and pretending everything was fine either. The galaxy was a mess. Sith wanted to fix it, Jedi wanted it to take care of itself and didn't approve of how the Sith wanted to fix it. To Zlova that didn't mean they couldn't get along, but to most of Yenna's Order it most certainly did.

So, it was pleasantly surprising to find the short, green woman kissing Zlova when she wasn't under the influence.

However, since Yenna obviously didn't want to risk Talohn's ire, Zlova didn't reach up to cradle the mischievous Knight during the kiss. The Twi'lek did, however, smile afterward as their eyes met.

"Dance." Zlova lifted a hand to gently caress the side of Yen's face. "Let's go dancing. Not a rave, but somewhere with a dance floor." Of course she enjoyed a good rave, but seeing how Yen was a bit short it might not be half as much fun with company. Yen could take care of herself, but that wasn't the point. A proper dance floor -- even if a busy one -- would make sure they had enough room and witnesses to admire their skills. "I'll show you moves even the current generation can't pull off properly."

After all, they still had a week. Why not continue to live it up? Galaxy wouldn't explode if they took a few days off. Zlova would enjoy it, and Yen looked like she desperately needed it. The benefits of being friends with a Sith -- enough passion for the both of them, and Yen wasn't exactly lacking in that department either.

As the week's end neared, Zlova would arrange for the tart to visit the Enclave to meet Runi. The Shaman had an idea about giving the short one a visit to Resa without violating the secrecy the Enclave wished to retain. Of course, the Twi'lek also gave Yen her personal contact information in case she wanted to let loose again in the future. "I may be a Lady of Sin, but that doesn't mean we can't be friends." Zlova liked the idea of being more 'neutral' than 'evil,' like Darth Traya, but that was easier than it sounded.
